Know your gear
Our technician will:
• Interviewing the customer for setup requirements
• Unpack the MFP*
• Assemble the freestanding printer
• Connect MFP to pre-existing AC power supply or UPS
• Neatly dress cable
• Attach to network using customer provided network cable
• Configure network settings
• If applicable, configure cloud printing settings to enable printing from cloud enabled application
• Load required software
• Verify functionality of one PC by printing a standard printer test page, scanning the printer test page and faxing the test page to a known fax machine
• Connect to wireless network
• Install ink cartridges or toner
• Run self diagnostics to validate installation
• Provide brief functional overview on features and operation to designated site point of contact
• Remove packaging
*MFP over 100lbs are custom installations
Assumptions:
• Not responsible for customer data loss
• Customer will be called to schedule within 24 hours (excluding weekends) of receiving notification
• Work will be scheduled within 72 hours of receiving equipment
• All work will be performed under a single site visit
• All work during regular business hours
• Customer responsible for all data/configuration backup
• Work orders will be completed with a project sign-off form
• Should work be required that is not included in the scope, a work addendum will be created
• Customer will provide the technician with workspace, access to network, user names and passwords and configurations required to perform the work
• Configuration to Customer Requirements other than the basic configuration will be charged at an hourly rate
