SCOPE OF ENGAGEMENT
This SCOPE OF ENGAGEMENT (“SOE”), together with the Agreement between the CDW entity selling the Services described herein (“Seller”) and the customer ordering such Services (“Customer”) shall be deemed to be a contract upon Seller’s acceptance of Customer’s order.
SELLER RESPONSIBILITIES
Includes the following tasks:
• A single CDW customized laser etching template will be created based on customer’s requirements.
• The single laser etching template will be built by an advanced team.
• A graphic demo laser etching template picture is sent via electronic email for customer review/approval.
• The instruction sets are individually created for each tag template to ensure that the unique configuration is carried out the same way each time the custom tag is deployed.
CUSTOMER RESPONSIBILITIES
Includes the following tasks:
• Customer must hold rights to image used for laser etching.
• Customer will send in a high resolution image or preferably vector-based for the best etching results (.eps, .ai, etc.). We can etch plain text as well; provided that we have the desired font on file (most basic Windows fonts are available).
• Customer will first need to approve the graphic demo before we can etch the first article.
• Customer will receive and approve the etching on one (1) unit (1st article) before releasing any other orders for deployment. (Please note that any etched product is non-returnable)
• A filed CDW Laser Etching Indemnity Agreement is required. (Link: http://www.cdw.com/forms/indemnity/laseretching.aspx)
ASSUMPTIONS
• Seller will have the laser etching template uploaded and stored on secure database server.
• Seller’s Account Manager will create install configuration and include service EDC(s).
• Seller’s Account Manager will enter specific template name to deploy and any additional instructions in to the Installation notes on the order.
OUT OF SCOPE
• Installation of additional hardware components and/or software.
• Installation of laser etching design on reflective material device.
• Any performance tuning, system optimization or similar activities.
• Performing any Services not specified herein.
SERVICES FEES
The fees due under this SOE include fees for Services and related expenses, as specified in the applicable order.
PROJECT-SPECIFIC TERMS
• Any changes to this SOE shall require a Change Order executed by both parties.
CONTACT PERSON
Each party will appoint a person to provide approvals/decisions (“Contact Person”).
TERMS AND CONDITIONS
This SOE shall be governed by Seller’s “Terms and Conditions of Product Sales and Service Projects,” which are accessed via the Terms and Conditions link on Seller's website (the “Agreement”) and are incorporated herein.
