Rated 5 out of 5 by from Wireless sync doesn’t work properly My Canon speed lights worked wonderful up until 2022. The last two years have been rough shooting weddings. I often sync them to shoot and they drop a connecting with minutes making receptions nearly impossible and they often drop at the worst times first kiss and dances. Do not buy until they correct the issue.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from replaced my 580 EX-II I'm really impressed with this flash unit - it has replaced my 580 EX-II. It's smaller, lighter, and I haven't noticed any limitations related to its having a lower GN. While I haven't put it through any particularly extraordinary paces yet, I am pleased with it's recycle time and battery consumption. In particular, I did use it on burst mode on the R5 accidentally when I handed it to a friend to take some photos of my family and was very pliantly surprised to see it keep up! I ended up with about 20 shots of well exposed images with no misses.
