Rated 5 out of 5 by from eh I really have liked Canon printers over the years--but I'm not finding this one very easy to use. It doesn't have a very helpful touchscreen. I'm mostly printing from my computer and it is a real hassle to try to help the printer figure out what tray you are wanting to print from. I'd much prefer more touchscreen options about printing and settings right on the screen. I know this can do "a lot" but some of the basic functions seem hard-won. I do like the inks so far.

Overall, the Canon PIXMA TS9521C interface was easy to navigate and offered several options of what to print and from where directly from the menu. The kids were even able to navigate the screens. We did encounter numerous paper type and tray errors when trying to print, however, they were easily bypassed to continue printing our projects. Using a mobile device to print was a breeze after the initial setup. The Canon PIXMA TS9521C was loaded with access to several interesting papercrafts. We enjoyed printing pop-up greeting cards, photo cubes and a paper snake from these menus. The ink was very fast drying on the cardstock and regular paper types versus the glossy photo and greeting card papers. Printing on a 12 x 12 page made me giddy as I didn't have to scrap a full background of my favorite design together from two 8 x 10's. No wasted ink or paper (well, it's never really a waste of paper in scrapbooking. I have a few quips about the interface and print time. We experienced slow printing for this to be made for crafters. Also, not being able to peruse the menu while printing a project or placing more projects in a queue was a bit upsetting. When you are at a crop, you want to multitask to get your project done as fast as possible. I don't want to have to set up a sign-up sheet for projects at my printer when you could just keep queuing up projects and let the print as they are put up. Then people could pick them up when finished, as supposed to going online on a pc to queue them up. I did attempt sending a print job to the printer when it was off as the description of options detailed, to make it turn it's self on to print. However, it didn't work as explained. I did not check further to see if it was maybe my model of the printer that didn't have that option. For the most part, the Canon PIXMA TS9521C performed beautifully despite a few kinks. Maybe a firmware update could give it just enough of a boost to truly be a "crafter's printer".

The built in images are wonderful and the picture quality on photos are crystal clear as well! I’m so happy with this printer! Together we printed some 12x12 sheets of card stock with the built in images and some with our own digital paper. We made cards with the card stock, some photos were printed on magnetic photo sheets, and we even printed an image on iron on vinyl and transferred it to a shirt! The party guests loved the way their photos turned-out. One guest bragged that their prints were "just as clear as ordering them from a pharmacy/photo!" Depending on what it is you're doing via scanning, printing, copying, etc. it's so many topics in the manual for you to familiarize yourself with before assuming you know the way to do it on your own. I wish I had at least 30+ days to play with this handsome, compact fella before having to give away my "honest" review because honestly, after I tell you guys it's a great printer and we had a grand ol' time getting crafty with it at the promo-party, I may discover something about the Canon PIXMA TS9521C that's even greater or maybe even not-so-great. This is a big, responsible purchase-so if you're looking to buy-this here is your printing guy! I enjoy all the features it offers for various reasons depending on my craft or task. My wi-fi problems are my problems, just be sure to have an amazing wi-fi provider in order for your printer to give you the best wi-fi performance, ever! We printed out different Christmas patterns in green, red and gold, cut them into circles and mod podge them to form a bowl. Super cute. I made placards for the party with everyone's photo. The printer also has its own SD slot which is a very cool feature. I previously had a wireless printer but I would always have to download my photos to my laptop first and then print wirelessly. Well, not any more! I just downloaded the print app and now I can send photos straight from my phone to be printed! I had the printer ready to go the day before and ran some tests before the party started and the photos looked great. So print quality gets 5 stars. However, when everyone arrived, I couldn’t get the printer working to print out the holiday photo booth pictures we were taking at the party. I spent 45 minutes of my party trying to get the printer working again with no luck. And it definitely wasn’t the modem or router because everything else worked. The printer was the reason for the holiday party but we didn’t make any crafts or print any photos. I felt like a bad hostess. The only thing I have is a group photo and one of the printer itself. I hope this doesn’t hurt me for future parties because I can’t complete all the activities. I’ll try again this week to get it working but I’m not sure if it will work.

We had no problems setting this up with mine and my girlfriends computers but we had a few hiccups with getting it it connected with our smart phones 35min To get it setup and connected to our smart phones but once we got it to work we started printing photos and capturing the most precious moments to us and our friend

The printer is not an easily portable printer, but it's a manageable, reasonable size considering it's multitude of functions. The touch screen panel, "smart" ability which works with Alexa, and the copy/scan/print functions are very useful. Initially, it was a bit overwhelming for us to figure out how to set up and effectively use its many features. However, the process was an exciting one as we explored this printer's many features. There's still more to learn. It's great that this printer can handle a variety of paper sizes and types ranging from small to large. We finally got to work on the vacation scrapbook that we've been planning for so long. This printer was just what we've been needing! The printing quality is excellent with vibrant colors, and there is a wide selection of appealing built-in printable patterns and templates. There is an endless variety of creative projects that this printer allows you to do. The only downside is that there does not seem to be an ink saving option or cheaper ink cartridges and the various paper products we'd want to use with this printer seem expensive. So it could get expensive whenever the printer needs restocking in the future.

I couldn't believe the quality of the pictures printed on the included photo paper. It was like getting pictures developed at the store. I had not idea you could even do that at home! Being able to print my own magnet from a family trip we took was so neat. I would definitely recommend this printer for all your printing and crafting needs.

We allowed everyone from age 3 to 70 pick a photo for their crafting project and print. It was absolutely amazing! Super easy to set-up. The picture quality is phenomenal! Some of the feedback I received: “The quality of the photos is the same if not better than using a photo lab” “Easy to use, great instruction manual” “Versatile- all in one can replace my ordinary printer”. “Way more functions that my regular printer” overall it was a huge success! I’m most shocked by they amount of ink remaining. We printed over 100 photos’s. And many items used for scrapbooking/crafts and the ink level is still good. . That’s impressive! This printer is wireless, which makes using it simple and straightforward. I used it to print photos and to make holiday cards. Using this printer was simple and the quality of my cards and photos was super impressive. I like that I can now do my photo printing at home without spending a lot and ordering from online stores. When I need a photo quickly, this will turn out a quality photo that I don't need to wait to get shipped to my house. I love how I can print any picture easily from my phone any way I choose and can copy or scan any document and it go to my phone. I like the idea of buying separate ink cartridges and having options to choose where I purchase them. This is a very nice printer and hope to have it for many years to come. It's so awesome that this printer is wireless and has AirPrint. I wasn't able to purchase the 12x12 paper yet so we didn't get to try out that part. The printer was clear, as-pictured printing. The only thing I didn't like about the printer was that after awhile it shuts off completely. I would like for it to be on standby (maybe I missed it in the settings?. If I need to print something quickly from another room, it won't work unless I go to the printer first. Overall, not a deal breaker, but slightly annoying. It is a pretty cool printer and if you're a crafter you will especially like this one! It can print on many types and sizes of paper including magnets and 12 x 12 paper! It also prints very high quality! It did take a little while to get setup but once I figured it out it was a piece of cake. I really like that I can print photos directly from my phone!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Constantly jamming I bought this printer a little over a month ago. Very difficult to use. First of all it doesn’t hold much printer paper and it is awkward to load it. It’s constantly jamming. Also it prints VERY slowly. When it jams and one clears the path, there are still notices that there is paper still inside. In order for further instructions one has to scan a QR code with a cell phone. This shouldn’t be so difficult. I need a different model printer or by a different manufacturer. No one has time for these problems.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great computer We have had 3 cannons our first one died and the 2nd one we got out of desperation because we needed one . It was about the only one available in our area last year for pick up, but we hated pretty much everything about it, except the large ink wells which lasted well over a year. When the Canon company finally had this computer available online which I had been eyeing it for my crafting projects for awhile I went ahead and bought it. We love the fact it stays online all the time and we can easily read the screen as it lights up and is in color.

Who's bright idea was that?! This "requirement" makes it a hazard (being bumped into when walking by) or having to walk to the printer to open the panel every time we need to print. #allperfect #firstworldproblems #stillannoying

If you are a crafter , looking for a fun printer for yourself and the kids , your business etc this is a good one. Even with the directions it was and still a little difficult to understood have to barcode a lot wish it was all paper directions straight to the point. But I did make cards seem the templates connected my laptop and phone as well apps Facebook. Its a four for me the quality but I still don’t know what else more it can do even though i know it can do a bunch more! Again thank you for the opportunity. We enjoyed and still are enjoying it.

We played around with the settings and made picture magnets, calendars, and holiday cards. It takes the printer a few minutes to warm up and communicate with your phone. At first, I thought it wasn't going to be able to process the picture request, but after a couple of minutes, it printed my calender and the quality is absolutely wonderful! The phone app is really easy to use too. It does use a lot of ink though, I'm going to have to buy new cartridges after today. I do like that the printer tells you exactly what level each color of ink is at while you are printing. I had many family members over and all of them want one! I decided to get a little “crafty” prior to the party with all my guests to learn and make it the best experience for them. The first thing, and the only issue I had, was connecting it wirelessly. This was easy once I realized my phone was too far from the router. After that hiccup – this printer and apps were a breeze! I wanted to test the clarity so I decided to print our Christmas cards. AMAZING! They looked like they were just printed from a professional. The magnet prints were wonderful as well. I used the Canon app and they had calendars that I could print. Once the guests arrived and saw what could be printed and how clear it was, they were so excited. Some guests did magnetic calendars, some did cards and others did coloring sheets (all with the Canon app. I can say, the guests were really amazed at this printer and the quality that it offered.

I'm happy with the quality of the borderless photo prints and the scrapbook paper on thick white cardstock. I placed this printer on a cart with wheels and it does shake quite a bit when printing.

I make many greeting cards during the year and it was easy to set up my program. You can also change the envelope size thru Hallmark card studio which I was so glad to find out it worked. I make the envelopes to go with the greeting cards. I highly endorse this printer to anyone who loves to make greeting cards.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Potential, Poor Execution I wanted to love this printer. I wanted to love Canon. I had pre-ordered the EOS R5 as a hybrid video shooter, but overheating appears to render the camera useless for video. I canceled my pre-order. I said, Canon, they have been making printers for a long time, they must at least have that all figured out. Sadly, no. This printer has as many deal-breaking issues as the R5... - You cannot use more than one connection type at a time, so if you have some computers on your wired LAN and some laptops / devices on the wireless LAN, or you want to use your phone using Wifi-direct, you will constantly have to switch between the 3 connection types in the settings to use all three. Such poor design! There is no technical reason all 3 cannot be maintained at the same time. - When you print, the front panel (with the LCD screen has to be pulled out and facing upwards in order to work, even though there is plenty of feed space beneath it. What a hassle! The open panel takes up extra space and looks terrible open all the time so we close it, especially because we do not print very often. But even if you want to print 1 page, you must open it first! There is no reason it needs to be this way. - The UX on the interface is bad. Canon needs to put someone who is actually good at UX as the head of whatever department that is, because it's embarrassing, honestly. I expect better from such a big name and company with lots of resources. Several options in the menu do nothing, the wording is confusing on a lot of options. For example, you don't need at the home screen both "Copy" and "Scan". They are functionally the same thing. It should just be "Scan" and when you click it, you should simply be able to specify whether it is to create a printed copy of what is scanned, or whether it should save the file somewhere. Also, invest in a speedier chip to power the interface because it's way slower than it should be in today's day and age. - The Windows apps are finicky and don't all seem to work. I can't initiate scanning from my PC even though it says I should be able to do that. The iOS app also seems to have issues; we weren't able to print at all with it. - The ADF seems to fail randomly and only scans some of the pages placed in the feeder. - No automatic duplex scanning - Unnecessarily small paper tray

The quality of the pictures is very good, and they come out with perfect colors. You can adjust the zoom to really far, or very up close which is great. Everyone loved it. I did get a little annoyed when I would push the display piece down a little and it would tell me it needs to be opened facing the curling pretty much but other then that, best printer I've ever used so far. Thought the SD card would also enable one to transfer copied pictures from computer to printer, but found that the SD card must be formatted in a digital camera format, not computer. Was also a little disappointed by that.

So far I love this printer it was easy to use and set up. It prints faster than my old printer and the quality of what it prints is great. I even had to print an old photo for a family member and it printed a nice quality photo. I would recommend this printer to anyone in need of a new printer that multi-tasks.

It is understandable that the fax feature is deleted to reduce cost. Print quality is outstanding. Cost of ink cartridges is ridiculous for almost all printers, and this is nothing new.

I love the wireless printing capability and the best thing is that I don't have to keep the printer on all the time. As soon as I send a photo to be printed it turns on by itself. This is ideal if I'm using my smartphone and want to print something while I'm away from home. Ink prices seem reasonable and I like that I can replace one cartridge at a time. Setup was easy (I used the CD Rom and print quality is great. I haven't used the scanner or copier portion since I am using this primarily for crafting. I loved how my pictures turned out when I used the enclosed photo paper samplers. So far I love it and hopefully it will withstand the test of time...

The print output is sharp, bright and clear. The only downside to the machine is that it would not operate blue tooth through my Comcast WiFi router. Therefore I had to purchase an ether net cable to attach it to my Windows 11 computer. As a result, I can no longer cast to print from my phone using the WiFi App.

The reason I bought it was to be able to print on thicker paper, card stock, and to be able to use various size papers. I have several 'scrapbook' jpg papersI and wanted the ability to be able to print them. I was looking for the ability to print borderless papers. I am pleased with the ability to print 12x12 borderless but I was very disappointed to learn that I can not print borderless for a 6x6 page .... I do not even have the option to print on card stock for 6x6 paper.

But when I tried to power it up one morning, the electronics module failed, so that the display froze and would only display the word "Canon". It would not boot up, and could not be turned off then except by unplugging the unit. Very disappointing, especially for the price.

However, from what I have done on this print, it is excellent. The photos are vibrant and the color is great. I am a crafter, so I printed a few 12 x 12 sheets from a digital paper pack. They too came out great. I need more time in order to review it fairly, however, so far so good.

My favorite function is the wireless capabilities. It was nice being able to send photos from my IPhone X to my Cannon PIXMA printer with ease. I also love the ability to be able to make Christmas cards. The picture quality is superb! This is a must staple in every home! Thank you Cannon for such a high end quality printer!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great crafting printer with some quirks I have wanted a large-format printer for years, primarily to print my own artwork for custom coloring. I also am a crafter and scrapbooker. This printer produces beautiful prints. I did notice they printed darker than what I saw on my Note 8 phone's screen. I will have to do some testing to see how to best reproduce what I see on the screen. I like the LCD panel with its interactive settings menus; I especially like that it confirms what kind of paper you've put in when you load the rear feeder. There are some quirks that bugged me. Some of my party participants as well as I had trouble connecting via Bluetooth. Also, when printing over wifi or via wifi direct, the printer made us confirm and authorize the print job EVERY time. That meant someone had to be near the printer to okay the jobs. This isn't an issue where I have my printer at home, but I want to relocate it to a cabinet with my business printer and then it will definitely be a frustration. The app is straightforward, but does not let you utilize all the printer's capabilities. It can scan at 600 DPI, but I notice the app only supports 150 and 300 DPI. The same was true of the printer's on-screen scan menus. When I used Windows 10's scanner and printer utility, it installed the driver and let me choose 600 DPI. I don't like how Canon's app cripples some of the capabilities on the app and the on-screen menu. Overall, I think this printer will be a great addition to my art and crafting. It will not replace my HP Officejet 8600 Pro printer by any means, but it's not meant to. This is a light-duty specialty printer. I'm willing to trade some scanner and other specs for the ability to print quality large format prints.

I wish I had tried this brand sooner. My previous printers always have some kind of issue and guzzle ink. This all in one printer really does it all and prints beautiful pictures. I do a lot of photography and make photo books and this printer is high grade. The quality of the pictures is great-suitable for framing and gifts. It has more features than I'll probably even use. I had a little trouble with the overall set up and then with the wifi set but customer service was helpful and we were up and running in no time. To print from your phone you need the app which is new for me but easy to adapt to. I like that the printer allows you to use different sizes of paper-not many give you option. It prints quickly and colors are really good. I do wish all the colors were in one cartridge but it’s nice you can continue printing even if you run out of one color. The printer is big and heavy and you have to get used to have to front open but the quality and available option overrides those issues. I have it on my desk at home. Overall I'm super happy with Canon and this printer.

I have always had a love/hate relationship with photo printers, but was so impressed with the Canon PIXMA TS9521C. The photos printed quickly, didn’t smudge, and the wireless printing was so easy. All of my guests were able to connect in less than a minute and the rear tray made swapping out photo paper super easy. We also used the front tray to print on some cardstock to make paper crafts. Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good, but not the best. This printer is really nice! I love that it prints 12x12. I print on hi-res paper and I still see some pixilation, which isn't great. I had a PIXMA MX922 before and a MG7720, and both of those print a lot smoother than this printer. I hope I can figure it out and fix it but I've played with the settings a lot and nothing seems to work. Hopefully my MG7720 continues to work for my hi-res projects.

The entire front panel is a flap that has to be open in order for it to print which is really annoying and wish they would show that more clearly in the pictures. It only sits flat as the picture when not printing. It's a really strange design.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Stunned by the positive reviews Printers traditionally, for whatever reason, are so much more difficult to pair and work effectively with computers. I don't know why this is. But with every other printer I've owned, I've at least managed to get them to ultimately work. The Cannon Pixma TS9521C is a special kind of garbage. It takes absolutely forever to print, when it actually does (which is only occasionally. And on those rare occasions, it eats up so much ink that it's almost unfathomable. I know and understand the business models of printers. I know they want to sell ink. But this one is taking it way too far. It has to be planned inefficiency. There's no other explanation for how quickly this thing mows through ink. Meanwhile, the scanner. Oh my goodness the scanner. I've tried all three ways to scan documents and send them to my computer. None of them work. Sometimes the USB mechanism actually figures out a way to speak to my computer, but rarely is it in the same language. Because I usually only get a page or two of multi-page documents. Scanning is not a cutting-edge technology. But Cannon has found a way to make it one. Like I said, all home printers stink. It's just a matter of degree. But with the Pixma TS9521C, Cannon somehow lowered the bar to levels previously unimaginable. It only got one star from me because it doesn't allow me to put 0.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love it!!! I received this as a free Canon printer to review. As a self proclaimed techie and brand new crafter, I was excited about it. What I loved right out the box was the size of it, was not too big and so I had the space for it. The directions were easy to follow and there was a scan code that takes you online for instructions too! Love that! The installation allowed for different options and I chose the smartphone option. Who doesn't like options? After downloading the app, I got an error but it took a few minutes to clear it. Still not sure if it was an operator (me error. After clearing the error, I was now ready to print, I was confused on the tray to use as there are two in the front. Again it took a few minutes to figure out. The whole setup process took me 25 minutes including the ink installation. I finally had it all set up and decided to print a photo off my phone, this is where I fell in love! The picture was perfect, I was in awe of its clarity and how quickly it printed. Even though I already have an all-in-one printer, this will be replacing it. I would recommend this to anyone.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awesome multi-functional printer The received the Canon Crafter’s All-In-One for free in exchange for testing the device and providing my personal review of the product. The packaging of the printer was standard to any other printer I have ever purchased/own. The printer came with a user’s manual, ink cartridges, power cord, Setup CD, and sample photo paper (5x7 – semi gloss, 4x6 glossy , 5x5 glossy, and 8.5x11 matte). After taking all of the items to begin setting the printer up, I first connected the power cord, and to my surprise and delight, the printer has a display that will visually take you through setting the printer up. It provided a graphic depiction of how to insert the cartridges and takes you step by step through other printer setup procedures. Once the printer was all set up I decided to print some photos first because I was curious to see how the pictures would look as well as if they’d be dry immediately. The pictures printed just like any of the picture kiosks you’d find at Walgreens, Wal-Mart, Target, etc. The quality was great, there was no smudging. It was perfect! I also printed out an invitation from an old invite I still had saved on my computer and it too came out perfect. I have printed on envelopes as well and that process worked seamlessly. It’s very easy to load paper, photos, envelopes, etc. into the various trays. The display also assists you in troubleshooting any issues and taking you through guidance to solve the problem. One of my favorite things about this printer is the ability to print from sites such as facebook, Instagram, and Nickelodeon. You can even print from Google Drive, Dropbox, and OneDrive. Additionally, you can connect via Wi-fi directly on the device. There are also pre-installed templates such as calendars, notebook paper, graph paper, etc. I have printed pictures and documents from my cell phone as well as wirelessly and usb connected from my laptop with no issues. The copy and scanning abilities are wonderful as well. You can even scan/copy and then email, save to usb, etc. For me, this printer is unlike any other that I’ve ever owned. I would definitely recommend this printer if you’re looking for something that is technologically advanced, produces great quality prints and provides high quality scans/copies. My old printer is also a Canon and to see the evolution from what I have to this one is awesome. I would recommend this to ANYONE!

Was disappointed to see that it would not print a12x12 back ground from an sdcard. I was told by a representative that it could be done wirelessly but not from the card. This would not work for me if using an older camera that is not wireless. Also, would be much better if it would scan 12x12

Prints fast and pictures looked very clear. Very easy to print from my phone! Everyone enjoyed trying out the Canon Pixma TS9521C. Rated 5 out of 5 by from Large Format, Scanning, Easy, Sharp Prints are Excellent. Ink costly. The Canon Pixma TS9500 is my first Canon printer. I am a geographer, cartographer and graphic designer so have worked with numerous large format (up to 50" wide carriages in my work. After careful research, I chose the Canon Pixma especially for its graphic quality and ability to print tabloid (11 x 17) format. However, it is also important to print documents and 4 x 6 photos. In addition, a tipping point was the additional image editing and printing software that comes with Canon printers. This software has been great. The Canon has exceeded my expectations in all areas but one (later). First, some reviews mentioned that the printer will not activate automatically. Since the printer is on another floor, I was concerned. However, the printer reliably wakes itself up and prints each time an item hits its queue. The Canon instructions are the best and most clear I have experienced in my last 31 years of configuring network printers. Not only are the written materials good, the instructions on board the printer for changing inks, clearing paper jams, etc, are the easiest to maneuver. The quality of the photos and graphics are sharp and clear so I have been able to produce cards and prints never seen in a printer of this price. I am directionally challenged so, when printing a folded card, I made eight attempts to load the media for a correct print. I never succeeded. I am not sure if the problem was repeated user error or if the Canon software is so smart, it will flip the landscape/portrait orientation by sensing the media direction. I will try this another day. The duplex printing is an environmental assist. Whether printing, or photocopying, it is seamless to print on both sides of the paper. The automatic document feeder has worked flawlessly. The scans are crisp and sharp, fast and easy to send to the computer. The printer works using Windows 10 on the computer and using the Android operating system from my phone. A word of caution, the Android rints hang a bit on the Print Utility software. For the first month of operation, the software would report that it couldn't find anything to print. By accident, I left that screen open once for 5 or 10 minutes only to discover that the software did find the print order and prints perfectly! I now know to be patient when printing from my Samsung S9 through the Dex docking interface. My only disappointment is in the quantity of ink the printer consumes. I knew this is the common complaint of Canon printers so it is not unexpected. I read that the regular size cartridges are more economical than the XL or XXL size so that is what I have ordered. However, the irritation of ordering ink so often has made me change to try the larger size. Also, Canon is slow in sending the ink. My last order was 7 days ago. Six days ago I received a notice that the order was shipped and would arrive in 3-6 days. I am still waiting. Although I try to always have one cartridge in reserve, the PGBK black (there are two black inks) surprised me by running out shortly after installing a new cartridge. The warning light appeared when placing the order last week but then it died within an hour, so we have been dead in the water. I am thankful that the ink cartridges are separate, so we don't throw out a multi-ink cartridge that is only short on one color. I also am stacking up empty cartridges and hopefully will find a place where I can recycle them.

This TS95 had all the features I wanted including the ability to scan or print multiple pages, a rear paper tray for various size paper and individual ink cartridges. It was extremely easy to set up the wifi. I also like the ability to print from multiple devices. It has a low profile with a touch screen on the front panel and it has large large print so it is easy to change settings. The choice of two-sided printing appears on the main print settings screen, not buried down several layers. It is Alexa-enabled but I haven't tried using that feature. And I still need to research the many other features offered. I would recommend it to others.

The only reason I didn't give it five stars is that my old printer had a feature that automatically turned itself on and the output tray opened automatically whenever a file went into the print cue. This printer has to be turned on and the output tray has to be opened manually. This is not a deal breaker for me, but since my printer is on the second floor, and I often print from my laptop on the first floor, sometimes it can be a little inconvenient to run upstairs and turn on the printer. With my last Canon printer, I would just print from the first floor and get my copies later when I went upstairs. Otherwise, it's a nice printer that prints really good quality.

In terms of design, my old Canon printer could wake itself up from idle mode and start printing without physically having to walk to the printer and wake it up. This printer cannot do that, and in fact the panel must be opened manually in case you forget it closed. My old printer could just drop the panel down automatically when it needed to print (seriously, Canon, that was a much cheaper, 10-year old printer and it outperformed this new, more expensive printer in so many ways. The printer also has serious issues scanning. Some days it is simply impossible to scan, it cannot handle more than a page. Other days it can handle up to 8 pages, but it frequently skips a page or two when you scan. I would say on one of its good days, 1/3 of the scans have to be redone as it either skips pages or it gives an error in the middle of the scan. It is absolute torture to try to scan with this device. The printing works mostly ok, on two occasions this past month the printer skipped some pages but it's been ok otherwise. Other than the fact that it squeaks pretty loudly. And that you physically have to walk over every single time to wake the printer up (really annoying). But at least it can print ok. If you set it on draft printing, it actually does a pretty fast job printing, otherwise not a very speedy printer. All in all, keep looking for another printer. I have had a Canon printer for 10 years and couldn't have been happier with it. I will not buy a Canon printer again after this experience.

Took 3 times & much frustration to figure out how to get it to work. At first it took 30 seconds to scan one photo. Once I had it set correctly it took 10 seconds per scan. Haven’t had a need yet to print various sizes of paper (which is why I bought it.

Once I unboxed it, I was happy to see that this printer was a cinch to set up. Once you initially plug it in, the printer itself actually guides you through the entire set up process. It is Wi-Fi enabled for ease of use and printing from your iPhone, iPad or Android device too. You can print, copy or scan with this versatile device and do it quickly on the go or through a variety of devices. It has a document feeder for multi-page documents to make it easy. The Pixma connected right up with my existing Wi-Fi and was ready to go in a few minutes. The digital display is easy to read. You can actually see where to put the ink cartridges with no struggling. It comes with the sample size ink cartridges in the 5 different individual colors. One of the nice things is that the ink cartridges are all individual so you only replace what you need, when you need to do so. It is easy to load the paper in the trays and you can print all different sizes of documents all the way up to 12X12. The large touch screen display makes it simple to set up and make changes. This even accommodates various invitations and envelopes. I keep a lot of different papers on hand for crafts and events between school and work events. I tried out a large invitation and a few envelopes and was pretty impressed. I started out by using my laptop. The colors looked clear and professional. You can even use the built in patterns to add to your crafty look. Photos also printed out clearly and with good coloration. I like that there is a Canon app that you can download which makes it easy to print from android or iPhone and even edit pictures or add designs before printing. I have tons of great pictures on my iPhone so that was great to be able to access and print them out so seamlessly and through wireless printing. It was easy to connect via the app to Facebook and Instagram too. I can capture from my fave social media sites, edit and print out my best shots. This is a great all in one device that is ideal for home or small business use. It works perfectly for my home office. It is intuitive to set up and lets you print, scan and copy professional quality documents and crafts from a laptop or mobile device without headaches or struggles.

However some of the pictures seem to be darker than shown on our cameras and phones. Connecting our phones and computer to the printer was very easy. Everyone loved it. I did get a little annoyed when I would push the display piece down a little and it would tell me it needs to be opened facing the curling pretty much but other then that, best printer I've ever used so far. Memories cards th sonmany saved pictures and things I forgot and printed to update the frames. The quality of photo print is AMAZING as good as buying them from a print place. I have never had such amazing print of photos at home before this printer it even printed a sheet of lined paper. Plain card stock turned into craft paper. I'm am so amazing and so excited. The printer was non stop for 3 hours with 8 people printing back to back and still not low on ink. With I was very impressed with as many photos as we printed. I cant want to make cards for birthdays and other holiday as the new year starts. So many choices of different stuff to print. We used the on screen display, blue tooth was a BIG hit. Connecting to Facebook was fun and so easy.

The issue is that MANY times, the printer does not recognize the Photo paper being in the machine. Even after you follow the directions over and over the MACHINE DOES NOT RECOGNIZE THAT THE PAPER IS LOADED. I am dealing with that issue right now. And I am fed up.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Pictures are fabulous quality! It wasn't too hard to install and get the printer working. Instructions were included that were pretty easy to follow. I do wish they included a booklet about how to use all the features vs. opening up information on my computer to learn how to do it. Ink is a bit pricey, but the picture quality is just SO good that I can live with the costs. In fact, someone who wasn't at my party saw a few of the pictures I printed out, and they asked who had developed them. They were THAT good: crisp and full of color. You DO need a lot of counter space for this unit. If you fold up all the different panels, it's not ready to print. You have to open and pull out the paper tray AND tilt up the touch screen panel before you can print anything. And if you want to load any specialty papers into it, you have to pull out of the back a tall loading tray. So you need room in front of the unit as well as on top of the unit (height if you plan to use it a lot and want to keep it open and ready. If you close up the front panel and don't pull out the catchment tray you cannot print, so you have to leave it open if you plan on sending things out the print from a distance (using wifi). The touch screen is easy to use, but there are a lot of questions you have to answer before being able to print, especially if you're changing out different types of papers (sizes as well as texture). I was so excited to have something I could use to print and cut with me cricut. I've read lots about people having trouble with the registration marks but this worked perfectly the first time. Set up was a little trickier than I expected but I figured it out. I also hate how expensive the ink is going to be.

But naturally I was comparing it to the ts 9521 first off,i was expecting a large printer since it has 12x12 capability but I was happily surprised to see that it was actually only a bit larger than my current one. The set up was smooth and quick and the paper loading was a breeze. The colors are just fantastic. So so impressed with this thing.

I was impressed with all the functions on this new printer. We had a few things we couldn't figure out how to print, like the full size greeting cards, but the quality of the scans and the photos are amazing!!! I am really liking this printer! The ink lasted through out the entire party too! And you have many options to do crafts from the Canon printer menu!

The printer was so easy to set up especially when i can scan the code and follow the step by step instructions. Everything was seamless. I do a lot of scrapbooking on a daily basis or whenever I can. This printer definitely allow me to print pictures, wireless printing from my mobile devices, and above all itl lets me print my 12x12 cardstock. The product provide me sheets of matte photo paper. It was so easy to print from my phone. Wireless printing was simple to set up and easy to use once I can able to set up what paper and size to print. Everything was self explanatory. The most important feature for me is the printing on 12X12 cardstock paper. I used this feature the most. It does takes some time to get it to print. I was able to print over 50 pages of cardstock and i am so happy because it is so much easier than tracing.

The printing quality is beautiful - especially on a matte finish paper! For scrapbook lovers - it can print onto 12 x 12 sheets! It is fairly quiet other than the initial rolling through of the papers. It is a bit heavy to lug around, but it can be done if needed. The ink will be costly - but the plus is that if one of the colors run out, you can continue to print instead of having to refill that one color to print. That is an advantage over the older Canon PIXMA models. Canon has some cool apps as well, and there is even "secrete message" printing options! Truly is the all in one printer!

I love that it takes different size papers, I always make up the party invitations and toppers for my nephews and nieces and my kids. It is wonderful the screen gives step by step instructions with the installation process. However, it took a little time to figure out where the operation panel was located. I like the concept of the printer being able to do multiple projects and the wireless capabilities. However, the ink smudges on certain paper texture such as clear labels. It prints well on regular paper. The graphics are well detailed in printing; however, the lines still appears on the paper after multiple printer head alignment has been completed. The functionality in using a inkjet printer is similar to its counterparts such as HP that also has the same issue. On the other hand, the Canon Laser Printer prints a better quality photo. I would like to see the printer printing without the operation panel left open as an improvement to the product as the printer takes up space on a small table located in my loft area of my home. The tray has to be pulled out for the print job to rest so it makes the printer looks clumsy. Overall, this product is average. It has a lot of features but I think the design could be improved.

Setup was really quick, took maybe less than 10 minutes from box to fully setup and ready to print. The colors were good and bright, no smudging on the photographs and no running of the colors. We were very pleased and may even get a second one to use in our little workshop area in the garage.

As our Canon MG6300 aged out due to years and years of use, we researched Canon's website and found the PIXMA TS9521C. The printer has great photo print qualities and features. Secondly, it's easy to set up and use in a wireless environment. THE BIG DRAWBACK: Canon advertised this with the Quick Menu feature along with other software options enhance our printing experience. After numerous attempts, we discovered and also found out from quite a lot of time with Canon reps that the Quick Menu is not included on this printer EVEN THOUGH IT'S ADVERTISED IN THE SPECIFICATIONS DECRIPTION on their website. We purchased this printer not only because of the print quality, but the Quick Menu features which encapsulates all the printer's functions. VERY DISAPPOINTED.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great quality picture prints I received this printer in exchange for my honest review of this printer. Overall, I found this to be a decent printer with good quality prints. Out of the box the directions to set up I felt were pretty standard and easy to follow. I felt the picture quality of my prints were actually very nice, I did a 4x6 of a photo print from a Facebook picture off my sister-in-laws Facebook account. The picture quality was very good considering that I got the picture from a Facebook page. I printed some pictures, some postal labels, and regular documents, I do believe I am pretty tech savvy, but I found this printer not as user friendly as others I have used, however, I do feel I have the hang of it now too. For example, it took me a little time to figure out the front cover must be open and raised up a bit in order for it to print. I felt this deserved 4 stars because the printer quality and pictures do appear to be pretty good, but I know that anyone else in my house who may use this printer will forget or struggle to figure it out as my kids are 2nd, 5th, and 8th grade. My husband too since he rarely prints anything unlike me who prints, copies, and scans all the time. I have this set up in place of our old printer. A big difference for me was that with my old printer I could scan to a thumb drive, but now to scan it will go to a computer, e-mail, or cloud. I'm used to my old way of course, but now I am forced to use e-mail or cloud. This is not a bad thing, but something new for me to get used to for my scans. I like this printer. I am just not super thrilled with having to open the cover to be able to print as I am particular and feel when not in use it looks better for cover to be closed, so before I can start printing I have to go downstairs open the cover then start my print job. This is an extra step for me as with my other printer I could be upstairs in my house, receive a document to print and start the job and expect it to be complete or at least started when I went downstairs to retrieve it. Now, this printer will not start until this is open.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Quality printing up to 12 x 12 The printer, provided to me as a free sample, was packaged well and arrived in perfect condition. The first thing I noticed was just how many trays this printer has. There’s a tray for CD printing, a tray for 12x12, a regular tray and tray for scanning. The regular print tray does not seem to hold much paper, but the printer makes up for it with its versatility across the various other trays and medias it can support. After finding and removing the various bits of tape, I plugged it in and the on-screen prompts guided me through the rest of the setup. Canon has tried to make it simple to connect the printer to your network, but Windows seems to fight it when their software attempts to connect to the printer’s self-advertised WiFi network. My computer noticed the network had no internet connection and interrupted setup by changing back to my normal network. Not a huge deal, just had to enter my connection information on the printer directly after waiting ~5-10 minutes for self-calibration. The touchscreen interface made this super simple and straightforward, even for manual setup. The software picked back up and continued with installation. After the install was complete, I clicked the test print button and immediately was presented with an error - the screen needs to be in an upright position in order to print. Worth considering when you decide where to put the printer. After printing the test pages, I printed a few patterns off and the printer did a remarkable job on them. The colors came out vivid and the sheet was filled completely from edge-to-edge, it looked just like I had purchased stationary. The printer warned me that plain paper would not produce a perfect pattern print but I whole-heartedly disagree. After lamenting for a bit on the print, I printed off a couple of AirPrint pages which worked flawlessly. This was important to me as we had previously had a Samsung printer that performed less-than-admirably in this arena. I was excited that it could print cardstock, especially on cardstock up to 12 x 12. I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the print on the cardstock. I have never been able to print on cardstock at home with this level of quality. The print came out exactly how I wanted it, looking professional, especially with the edge to edge. Overall, I think this printer works great as a regular printer and will bring my paper crafting to the next level.

The CD would not install on my laptop. Finally, I tried to just download the print driver from the Canon site and I did get it going. But I have been unable to use the Canon software. Wirelessly connecting from my iPhone was much easier, and I am enjoying the ease of printing photos that way! I absolutely love being able to print 12x12 - I've been using the printer with the Becky Higgins Project Life app and for the first time in years I think I may actually catch up on my scrapbooking.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from What a GREAT Printer I am in love with this printer!! I already had another brand of wide-format printer, and it was good, but I always had connectivity issues. This set up like a dream - I had no problems at all. It does exactly what I need it to do, without giving me any problems. The printing is spectacular - no issues at all. I like that it does everything my old printer did, but in less space! This printer will be going with me to every scrapbook event!

The picture quality is great. Love how easy it is to print from my tablet. The ink life compared to other printers I've used is amazing. So far with the set up ink I've printed out an 8x10, 5x7, 5x5 and a few different homework packets and the ink is about 1/2 used. I wish the scanner was a little more user friendly. Changing the scanner settings to save as a pdf was a little complicated. But so far I'm very pleased with the printer.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Printer for all Your Needs I was so excited to be chosen for a complimentary Canon PIXMA TS9521C printer. We definitely needed a new one. I loved the look of this printer, ease of set up, ease of use of apps from phone or computer. I did notice a few glitches where it printed part way and then stopped or didn't print at all but when it was working it was amazing. You just have to figure out how to troubleshoot certain things. I LOVE this printer. It has made my life so much easier. I no longer have to cart my laptop into my office, make sure I have the document pulled up and ready to print because my internet won't work unless I'm plugged into wifi in the living room, and make sure it's charged so it doesn't die on me before I finish printing (I probably need a new laptop too lol). I can print, scan and copy from my computer or phone and I don't even have to be in the same room. I even printed some homeschool work sheets double sided without having to remember how to put the paper in a certain way so it didn't print on the wrong side. It will make printing worksheets SOOOO much easier. I have scanned, printed photos, got ready for my business vendor table this weekend and created collages. This has been such a blessing to us and the print quality is amazing. I loved all the crafts that are already programed into the app and the ease of creating/making those crafts or scrapbook papers/cards. This is definitely a great printer for everyone in the family. The quality of the pictures is very good, and they come out with perfect colors. You can adjust the zoom to really far, or very up close which is great. The pictures won’t come out fuzzy like with other cameras when zoomed in. I really love this camera and I am going to continue to use it! #CanonParty #Sponsored

I have two young children and was always running to the store to print off photos for the grandparents...now I can just do it from home! LOVE that! However...I can't give it full stars because the set up was a nightmare! I tried setting it up on my phone, downloaded the app and followed all the instructions and STILL nothing. I finally gave up in frustration and just installed it on my laptop. Aside from that though, the quality of the printer is great and I'm very happy with it.

The printer is nice and has a lot of functions, allowing me to print some of my favorite pictures in what I would say is as close to professional quality as I get at home! I do have to say that setting up the printer was more difficult than expected. The disc didn't show up when I put it in my computer and the website did not have the install software for this printer yet. I finally set it up using my iOS phone by downloading the app. There was some issues with setting up the wifi but I just used the bluetooth and that seemed to work to get it connected to wifi. Once connected it took some time to figure out how to get the printer to print on photo paper but once I got that working I was thrilled to see how nice the prints were. Well worth the time and effort! One thing that I noticed though was that sometimes the 4x6 paper loads weird and it prints off kilter with white in 2 of the corners. That being said, it printed my 16mp pictures beautifully.

The directions were easy to follow and that is a major plus in my book. I had the printer out of the box, unwrapped and had printed several printers within an hour of cracking the seal of the box. The pictures printed actually better than some I have printed at drug stores, the photos were crisp and clear. I am a scrap booker and I take my pictures seriously. I immediately called a few of my scrap buddies and told them about the printer. Totally love, love, love this printer. Good job on this product!

It came with photo paper inside as well as easy to read instructions and ink cartridges. I am impressed with the speed at which it prints and the quality of the photos. If you are looking for a printer for all things craft then this is the printer for you.

We started printing for our vision boards and ended up printing pics to just have! I had difficulty connecting my printer and laptop. Nevertheless, it was all that imagined. The main reason I purchased this printer was for the ability to print my own borderless 12x12 scrapbook paper. I have tested most of the features, and I love them. However, every time I send a job to the printer, it tells me to raise the front panel. This is super annoying, because the front panel/LCD display is what shows you what's happening. I don't know what genius thought it was a brilliant idea to never be able to see the LCD screen during print jobs, but it is a HUGE drawback for me. And, honestly, it doesn't make sense because there is plenty of clearance (even with 12x12 cardstock) for the paper to come through. A part from that, this is an amazing printer thus far. I just wish I could actually see the LCD panel during use!

The quality of the colors and clarity was amazing. My friends and I made coasters during our craft party and they came out beautiful. We used patterns as well as picture of people. You could see every detail in all of them. Nothing the tops the ability to print directly from my phone. I didn't have to hook up a computer with a cord. I added the app and abracadabra...pictures were printing. I have died and gone to heaven. Before this printer, I was using the Canon Pixma TS9020 so I was aware of the quality of Canon products. But this is just amazing! The speed, the quality, the color, the clarity...all unbelievable.

Having to go to Canon after researching what it is I was missing was a pain. But so far all is working as advertised. The supplied ink cartridges seem to last as long as putting in new ones, so happy with that. I haven't tried the card stock yet.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great for Creative Masters I've had this printer a year now and absolutely love it. It does almost everything I need/want it too and with wonderful image quality to boot. The only drawbacks and things that make me regret my purchase is: Ink usage, it uses a lot for so few of items, I never did get the extra ink I ordered with it that was on back order but because my printer was delivered Canon says my ink was... NOPE, IT WASN'T! The 3rd and final item that makes me regret this printer is with it using so much ink and the cost of replacement cartridges it's not worth buying unless you make a good amount of $$$ off of it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Quality is terrible Last year I decided I wanted to start crafting and I got a cricut and bought three printers. One of them being in the Canon Pixma. The prints are not as crisp and vibrant as my HP printer that I've had for years. I got the Pixma because I wanted something with a feed tray that could handle cardstock and sticker paper. A year later and I occasionally use the printer because it doesn't matter what settings I pick the quality is bad.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Issues with new Canon Pixma , Yuck I thought I was upgrading from my Brother printer. But so far things are not working well. A feature I do like is two-sided printing without having to remove the paper and flip it over. The network setting keeps disconnecting. We have our printer downstairs. Both of us use our iPads and print periodically throughout the day. But the air printer feature continues to be cut off. I have to go downstairs stand next to the printer and reconnect. I’m about ready to request a refund.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great quality picture prints I like the features on my Canon Printer and use them all. The prints are crisp and the printer puts them out in a reasonably short time. The only hang up I have is that the printing cartridges run out of ink in what seems to be a short period of time. But then I do use the printer on a regular basis. I would recommend purchasing Canon cartridges and have found that they are less expensive than Amazon if you buy directly from Canon. I did try knock-off ink cartridges and they skipped, left lines, and simply did not look right. This is our third Canon printer and we are quite pleased with it.

It's taking me a minute to figure everything out as I had my old Canon printer for years and years. I am also hoping to have this one for years and years. I did print out a picture to see if the quality was as good as my old printer and not surprised at all that it turned out beautiful.
