I called support and they tried to sell me a firewall for my Skylink. I can't get the driver to download and the wireless never shows up on my devices. I would have returned it but my time is more valuable than the cost of this printer. I am just sorry it is not heavy enough to be a boat anchor. It is worthless.

It only prints one sided & when it prints, usually an extra 2-4 empty pages comes out. Very frustrating to use printer. The LCD is too small & difficult to read. It also guzzles ink & the ink cartridges are expensive & difficult to locate & put in. All in all, buy any other printer but not this one! You'll save yourself a big headache.

The paper always jams, or spits out 3-4 of blank paper & does not print very well. Instead of black being black, it's a dark grey. Very disappointed with this all in one printer.

I have gone thru multiple setups and never get past the final step of connecting after selecting my network and entering my network password. I've been working with networks and IT for years and have never had a product so frustrating. Avoid or beware

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Why an app instead of printing from the screen? I hate this thing. It keeps unconnected to the network. I especially dislike having to use the app to print instead of the normal printing from the screen. Way more complicated than necessary. Whenever I manage to print, I have a little celebration because it takes this huge effort. Please take it back and replace it with a normal type from my screen type printer. It also sucked a paper back in like it was a demon possessed who was starving yesterday.

The only way I can get the printer to work is to uninstall the drivers and restart my laptop and then reinstall the drivers. If I switch from printing to copying, the printer loses the network, and I have to start over. I have yet to find any way to scan a document successfully. So I am packing it up and returning it. Moreover, you might have put a label on the box that tells the purchaser the printer cannot print a standard No. 10 envelope.

Other mfg printers have simpler easy to read scrolling menus. Manual insufficient and difficult to search. Printer loses wifi connection but "thinks" it is still connected and blocks attempt to reconnect. Printing is very slow. Guzzles ink.

I told him know that I had a friend that could fix it for free. But they could fix it in 5 minutes. Lol

If you need to print something, it would be quicker to drive to a print shop and have it printed because this printer cannot maintain network connectivity. This is my third and last Canon printer, you guys are producing cheap, disposable, printers destined for a landfill within 12 months.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect for Linux Mint and Win 10 bought at WalMart few weeks ago. used my USB printer cable to initially set up after downloading both drivers and utilities at Canon site. TS3522 works grreat with Linux Mint, both with cable and wi fi. Windows 10 was fine After turning off all antivirus and checking on router setup. used Windows setting, device driver, preferences, for establishing printer page setup. wi fi link on printer is ez pz IF your router is setup correctly. had to unplug USB cable once or twice to get good communication with printer. does not hurt to open Win 10 control panel, device drivers, select print ques and such and Update drivers After you already have everything working as you wish. uses 275 and 276 inexpensive cartridges you purchase at the Canon Printer website.

You have to walk over and turn it on whenever you want to use it as it turns off automatically.You can not print on both sides of the paper unless you print every other page and then put it back into the printer to print the second fourth and sixth page. It blows thru the ink so quickly you will run out every month if you just print a normal amount.When I called for help the tech was reading the book in order to answer my question and then she wasn’t sure.I have had this printer for barely two months and it is now in the garbage where it belongs!! TRUST ME, SAVE YOUR MONEY AS YOU WILL BE DISAPPOINTED and will be wasting your money!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Extremely hard to set up wi-fi printing I got this during COVID and working from home and needed something small to fit in the confines of my room but I've had our IT person on the phone for an hour trying to hook up the wifi and it's impossible. We gave up. Which means every time I want to print, I have to pull my laptop out of the dock, put it on the floor because that is the only place I have room for it, set my laptop on the floor because the cable I have is short (and the printer doesn't come with it's own cable, and crawl around on the floor, which is not great because I have a back injury. I would NEVER recommend this printer to anyone.

This printer is very sub par quality for a Canon product. It's cheap & the old saying applies to this: You get what you pay for! Spend a few bucks more & get a better printer. This printer always turns itself off automatically & there is no way to adjust this. It also prints very, very slowly. And when it does, half the time it stops in the middle of the job & just stops. Safe yourself a headache & buy a better printer.

There's no way to join the wifi network from the printer, you have to do this from your computer. And the documentation was slapped together without much thought. It didn't mention that you cannot connect to your printer until you've configured the wifi network connection from your own computer to be a private network (in Windows).

The settings for printing are very minimal (where is the fit to page???) It runs through ink very, very quickly. I will never by such a low quality printer again. Too expensive and frustrating to operate.

Sadly I am returning it simply because I can't get it to wirelessly connect to my network. When I try to search for answers on Canon website about placing printer in 'Manual' mode I get a website 404 error. No USB cable included and lastly the top cover/scanner lid feels VERY plastic toy like. The whole printer feels like a plastic toy. Not happy with the setup with this printer! I would simply NOT recommend this.

So I don't know if possibly the ink the comes in the printer when u buy it is maybe a trial size or something Bc by literally my 4th document just a print out of writing. The black ink said low order more. And shortly there after went the color. Now the color ink did last a bit more thank the black, they both ran out way quicker than I would have ever imagined. Other than that it's a great printer in it's self. Very easy wireless set up and connection to either a cell phone or a laptop. The app is easy to use plus there are other apps that have free craft projects and template you can make home made greeting cards, gift box templates, 3d animals. It's pretty sweet and the best part it's it's a free site and app.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Stupid lights come on for no reason The stupid color ink light flashes and sometimes it won't let me print. I dont even use color ink.
