I was a bit afraid I would be low on the learning curve with a new camera, but I found I could continue enjoying taking pictures with no problems as soon as I charged the battery! The features I loved were still there as well as MANY new ones. And, the extra pixels helped my cropped pictures look very good.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from battery i got a battery grip unit BG-E21 free with my purchase of a new camera, the downside was the unit needs two batteries not included with the unit, so i was forced into getting two batteries for the free gift , batteries are good value anyway ,i always get the OEM CANON ACCESSORIES.

I have several of this model and they work fine. I did purchase a battery grip for my camera in order to help with the life of the batteries and being able to shoot more pictures before needing to recharge them.
