Rated 5 out of 5 by from A Satisfying Printer with Excellent Color Rendition The Pro-310 is the first 'professional' printer and has, thus far, fulfilled my desire to print out images that were to be both vivid and accurate. It's a printer I highly recommend for newcomers to the world of photo printing. Although I considered the Pro 200s as my first pro printer, a fellow who worked at the camera store where I got my first mirrorless camera recommended that I get a printer that used pigment-based ink instead of dye-based ink if I were to sell my prints. The fellow's advice proved to be spot-on. This printer is easy to use from the start. I used the print mode from my Affinity Photo II and the Canon professional layout program. The printer worked fine without a fuss from these two programs. I have used various Canon papers. I would recommend a luster or semi-gloss photo paper at this point. One quick caveat: Although (using letter-sized photo papers) this printer is generally a miser as far as ink consumption is concerned, it does use a fair amount of black photo ink. If you are planning to use much black and white printer, be prepared for much use of black inks. Overall, I am quite satisfied with this printer.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Setting this product up is an absolute nightmare I spent two days trying to get the printer driver to install with no success. I hate this thing.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from New and a more moature printer, coming from Pixma Pro-200 moved up from Pixma Pro200. Easy installation and the printing quality is great. It's brand new so, some paper companies don't have the profiles ready, but Canon paper is very good quality as well.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A solid printer to take me to OLD age When Epson ended the selling of their ink for my printer I was stunned and so were many other people who owned their printer. So I turned to Canon with my 1 request I wanted a printer that can print a 13 x 19 inch image. Well it worked. Splendid color! What I really liked was the vast amount of information it gave you in the printer screen, It also relayed a poblem by number to the on line manuel. I like the 13 X 19 image size because my photographs sell well in that format. I seem to sell more prints in retail stores like ice cream shops then art outlets. I have not tried the cards yet but based on making 8 x 10s and 11 x 17 I am sure the printer will do the job. I must be honest I have no interest in wireless feature but it is there should I need it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great printer and super easy setup! I just bought this on Amazon. It was the same price, but I have the monthly protection plan that covers just about everything I purchase. Setting up the printer was simple and easy to do. I followed the instructions on the printer screen, used the QR code to download the app on my phone, connected to it, and got it connected to my WI-FI without any issues. Then used my Windows 11 PC to scan for printers and it popped right up and installed in about a minute. Then I did a test print, which came out great. Then I used it to print off a DVD and that looked AMAZING! I make DVDs of VHS tapes for people, and this looks way better than my aging Pixma TS8310! Took maybe 20 minutes in total to set up, and that included the 11 minutes or so for it to prime the inkjets and prepare the head for printing. It was super simple and easy to do!
