Great Scanner
Great scanner and included software does the job. We use it for scanning large documents and it works great for that.

Great little network scanner
We've been waiting for a network scanner that worked with the CaptureOnTouch software for a long time. We previously had an ImageFormula Scanfront 300 in our office, but found using it with FTP or e-mail and naming files using the touchscreen to be cumbersome. We later switched to the Canon DR-M160II and have enjoyed using that scanner, which is great for somebody who needs their own dedicated scanner. When we discovered the DR-S150 we were delighted because it combines the ease of use of the CaptureOnTouch software with the ability to share the scanner on a network. It's the best of both worlds.

A scanner that jams more than it scans.
This scanner is constantly jamming because of inconsistent paper weight within the stack. It is frustrating and constantly gives a jam error and stops scanning. I would NOT buy this unit again and I would not recommend it to anyone who does not have the time to hand feed every document through. I have been using it for 2 months and switched from an HP scanner that had the feed rollers where out. The very first scan with the Canon jammed and I should have returned it right away. The unit is very light weight. The tray used to catch the scanned documents doesn't hold them and they end up coming out wrinkled and in some cases destroyed. My IT person recommended NOT using the wireless feature because of the failure to connect to the network errors. For the price, I am very very disappointed. I would NOT recommend this unit.
