It has been over a month since I placed my online order and I have to receive it or even shipping confirmation. I’m unable to provide an accurate rating at this time.

Camera weight is helpful
Have not used the camera much but the few pictures taken I am very pleased. The lighter weight of the camera versus our old one makes taking pictures much easier.

Purchase and Receipt of my new Canon Camera
I just received my camera after about a month wait due to backorder. Although I am new to photography, I am learning quick with this new camera. So far so good. The buying experience was very easy ordering direct from Canon.

Good specs but limited zoom features.
A good camera for clarity but only for studio environments. Lacks zooming features necessary for outdoor, action & sporting events.

Great specs!
This is in response to the 3 star review posted about the CAMERA not having zoom capabilities. You zoom with a lens, not the camera. If you mean something else, I apologize but be clear. If you mean magnify, this camera does magnify the subject as well.

Outstanding!
This camera put a huge smile on my face day one. Very easy to learn on and image quality is stunning. I have been taking incredible shots with the 18-55 kit lens. I ordered the 55-250 is stm mans I can only imagine how sweet that will be. After researching and watching tons of videos for a couple weeks I am so glad I decided to get the t8i. I bought it for wildlife, hiking, YouTube and taking pictures of my woodworking projects. Fantastic camera for a reasonable price. Well done Canon

Awesome camera! I love it!
This is my first DSLR.
I’m a amateur photographer who got this as a early birthday gift to myself. It has many features and is able to produce really stunning photos right out of the box. I can’t wait to get more lenses at some point. This camera I’ll be using for many years to come.
Quality is good. Good size weight and fits well in the hands.
If you got cash saved up, and you yourself like photography like I do, give it try. I think you’ll be pleased.

Like the camera, hated the lense! Wish there had been another lense option for these kits.

Too many auto gadgets
Love the photos but have to turn off so many computerized processes. Feel like I need lessons on this Rebel-it’s my third one.

T6i is better!
After using my t6i for 7+ years, I decided to upgrade. Honestly, the t6i is better. The autofocus isn't as smooth on the t8i and the quality poorer. The upgrades make it act like a cheap point and shoot instead of a DSLR. I know it's an amateur model, but it's not an upgrade from past versions in my opinion. Sadly I will end up reselling this and going back to my t6i until it bites the dust.
