Rated 5 out of 5 by from Nice camera but... This is my 2nd time around with this camera. For a while, it worked great... two years later and the same thing happens. When I take videos there are spots all over, can't clean it, and when shooting against a light background, spots! I tried to clean it but no go. When I take videos I have to make sure there's no water or sky involved or you will see the same spots!

Canon EOS Rebel T7 kept coming up as a great starter camera. I bought this set and am so happy I did! I'll be using this for a very long time. I highly recommend this kit!

It surprisingly works fantastic! I'll upgrade the lenses later but the camera itself is so great and easy to use! Even the cheap stock lenses work great for getting your "feet wet" in the hobby!

Performs really good in the daylight but in lowlight and night situations its really really terrible. Although its not good, this camera really pushes your editing skills (if you edit your own photos) for when you upgrade your camera.

Everyone loved them and how they came out. The quality and image is so nice and clear. I would recommend this camera.

I’d say this is one of the best cameras to start with, you can play with the settings, figure out if you’d want to upgrade, overall you can play with photography. The only problem I’ve had with this camera was the slow autofocus, it tends to really annoy me when I’m trying to take photos of fast moving objects or just a quick little photo. I’ve taken quite a few good photos with this camera, I’d definitely recommend it to beginners.

So far it’s been durable, it takes way better pictures than I’d been expecting, it’s reasonably easy to learn to use.... I’m really happy with this purchase

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great first camera I’ve been using my T7 for a little over a year, and I love it. It’s my first “real” camera. Love the results, I’ve used it for wildlife, sports, architecture, etc. Added the canon 50 mm lens to the set up, and continued to get great results with that. This is a great entry level camera. I want to eventually upgrade to something like the R5 or R6, but I’ll keep using my T7 until it dies.

I've been using Canon cameras since 1978 when I got my first 35mm body and have been away from photography for almost 10 yrs and decided it was time to upgrade my older digital Rebel kit to have something both easy to carry around and not be limited by what our phone cameras could do (which has always been a LOT, honestly, they are no doubt amazing for what they do). I have not created any brilliant or memorable artwork yet, but have been really happy with the camera, and especially the 70-300mm lens, which makes a HUGE difference over my older 70-200mm which I had been using since 1988 from my original EOS 35mm. Obviously from both the weight of the camera AND the range, but it the AF has been super-responsive and accurate. EASY, EASY, EASY to use and very competent!

It's been over a month and I still can't download my photos. IMAGE Quality sucks for the price! My Iphone has better quality and zoom features than this! This company is completly out of touch with today's technology!!! This is not even a good beginner product.

The double lens comes in super handy when taking pictures not only close up for portraits but also distance for landscapes. I have found that the manual setting works best. There is a sports mode to take multiple pictures at once and select the best image.
