Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Little Camera Bought this camera with the 18-150 lens last June when it first became available. It is small and light. I love the FV mode that allows you to manually set aperture or speed and adjusts all the rest of the settings. I used it all during Mardi Gras in New Orleans recently and the weight was really an advantage. The focus nailed a lot of shots under the duress of shooting in large crowds. The colors were spectacular. Carrying it was a breeze.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Canon R-7 It's difficult to rate at this point, because I don't actually have it. I only used it for 2 weeks. I had to send it in with my new 100-400 lens. It was determined that it was the lens causing the the problem. But when it actually did work--I loved it!! I'm hoping to get it back soon.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great walk around and wildlife system I've had the EOS R7 and 18-150mm Kit for just a month capturing almost 4,000 images; mostly birds and wildlife. I don't shoot video. The tracking AF and Image Stabilizing features work very well with the RFs 18-150mm and RF 100-400mm. It's fast and captures sharp images. I also appreciate the lighter weight and smaller size. It will share shooting time with the EOS RP .

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Dead Pixel on LCD Screen I received the R7 in the mail about 29 hours ago. I took about 60 shots on it yesterday. Woke up today excited to use it, and noticed i have a bright neon green dead pixel on the LCD screen. it’s only the screen, not the sensor, but still annoying seeing as it’s brand new. it’s also alot more noticeable in person than it is in the picture. its in the top left hand corner above camera icon and Av. again, its hard to see in picture, but in person its popping green.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from This camera is a gem! This is an excellent camera! I also have "big boy" full frame cameras and lots of fancy fast lenses -- but I just love this camera! It is compact, takes sharp perfectly focused pictures, can track the fastest birds and find the eye of any person that I photographinsg. No, it is not full frame -- and that is great. I can travel with this body, a tiny (inexpensive) RF 16 mm f/2.8, maybe throw in a 50mm f/1.8 or a 35mm/f/2.o , and the tiny yet nice kit zoom 18-150 and I have a great travel kit. If you want to hike or ride across Nepal with a FF camera and full frame glass -- be my guest. But this little gem takes beautiful photographs! And for fun, throw it on a 100-400 EF L lens with an adapter, and the R7's high resolution sensor, the tenacious autofocus and rapid fire drive will create some great nature photographs. ( IMPORTANT: The auto focus works flawlessly on my EF lenses with the canon RF/EF adapter.) It is my favorite camera right now. I just love it.
