Rated 5 out of 5 by from The best Canon camera ever. I really like the Canon 80D with the 18-135mm lens. This is my second one and I plan to keep it for a long time. The camera is easy to use and configure the way I want it to function. This is the fourth one in the XXD series (up to the 80 that I have owned. I also own the new 90D with the same lens and I am still working to be comfortable with it because of the many changes that have been made to the workings of the camera and its menu system.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect Camera for Me I was on the fence between the 77D or 80D. I went with the 80D and am very happy with the purchase. I have had the chance to use it many times and once I figured out how to properly set everything up, I have no complaints. Great photos so far, and i look forward to adding some nicer glass for it soon!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love this Camera! As an amateur photographer that loves to take pictures I wanted a camera that was capable of capturing everything that I wanted to remember in a quick way. I love my pictures to look sharp with the best detail. This camera was exactly what I was looking for. It is very easy to use and the touchscreen is a nice option. Often times I forget that I have it. It's bulky but in a good way. The lens that came with it also provides a wide range of camera angles and different prospective views. I'm so happy that I made this purchase. This is my third Canon camera and I highly recommend it to everyone.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Camera with lens were not fully tested before delivery I received the Canon EOS 80D and was excited to use it, however the lens would not focus, either auto-focus or manual focus. I already owned a Rebel T4i, so I tested the lens on that and it still didn't work. I then used my T4i lens on the 80D and had no problems. I had to send the lens into Canon service (calling first to get RMA and then they wanted to charge me for the repair ($130). Once I gave them my original order number, that was resolved. It took an extra week to get the repaired lens. It was lucky that I had another camera and lens to test because I wouldn't have known if this were a camera or lens issue. All in all, I think it it was worth the extra effort. But, I would ask Canon to fully test the full product (camera, lens and accessories) before sending them out.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent Camera!!! I was on the fence when upgrading my Rebel XSi to the new 77D for the 80D. After a lot of research, I purchased this camera during the July 4th sale. I am glad that I did! It looked brand new to me out of the box, no scratches or any signs of it being used. I got it just a few days ago, I took some photos in Auto mode. They were outstanding!!! I can't wait to play with the other settings in this camera as well as the video capabilities. This weekend I will give a good run through. So many positive reviews on Youtube. Here are a few pics.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Camera I have had canon cameras for about as long as I can remember. I have been doing wildlife photography for about two years now, and I wanted to upgrade from a "beginner" DSLR camera. The main features I was interested in for this camera were the number of autofocus points and the ISO capabilities. I have been very pleased with this camera's abilities! It has so many features and is a very powerful camera. I'm sure I haven't even used it to its fullest potential yet. The lens that came with the camera (18-135) is also great.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect Camera! I decided to make the jump to canon and when i finally got to shoot with the 80D video and photos, i simply fell in love with it. This was a perfect price for a high quality camera. The amount of extras this camera offers for low end cameras is unbeatable by any other. There are a few thing it lacks but i hope they will catch up to the other 2 competitors soon.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Lots of Features I bought this system to take another step in my photography, never thought I'd step up to a DSLR but always wanted to, now I did. Looked and evaluated for a long time and finally settled on this EOS 80D system. It sounded like it had more than I needed; and it has so far. I'm sure it will be a long time before I utilize all of the settings. I also purchased the battery grip for those times when I won't have time to wait for a recharge. This is a good addition to my growing camera collection. I like to enlarge my shots to 16" x 20" and 20" x 30" prints so detail can be seen. everyone that sees my pictures seem to be amazed. Makes me feel good about my camera selection. I've taken over 700 shots so far and some at night just to see what would happen. Those that have seen the night shots think they are daytime with tiny white specks in the picture until I point out the specks are stars at night. I haven't even tried to adjust for nighttime photographs yet. Currently, I can only imagine the nighttime beauty this camera will produce after I learn the settings. Daytime shots are wonderful as well; I prefer landscape pictures (images) for my primary photography. I switch out my 20" x 30"pictures once in a while in my office environment just to hear the compliments from others. All seem to notice very quickly when I change them out (real eye catchers I guess) never thought I was that good - it has to be the camera. I have begun to add to my CANON camera system: first added the EF-S 10-18mm f/4.5-5.6 IS STM and now the new EF 70-300mm f/4-5.6 IS II USM lens. With these lenses I hope to cover all opportunities that may arise. With my lens selection I believe I will be astounded with the results from my EOS 80D system. This is my first DSLR so I do not have anything to compare it to for output. I just see great pictures from a very nice camera without being a paid professional. That is my bottom line.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excelent body, underwhelming lens I purchased this bundle withthe columbus day sale, but the lens was faulty and it was back in the box within the hour. Save your money and get the STM bundle, the IS is touchy in this lens.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Camera I've been a Canon user for many years going back to the Canon A1 35mm film camera. I've been looking to replace my EOS Xsi for sometime now. The Xsi is still a great camera but I wanted more features including Wi-Fi and movie. When I read some early releases that Canon was coming out with a new camera in an upgrade to the 70D, I kept searching for more information. There was much speculation as to what the 80D would include. Finally the official press release from Canon revealed many of the features that I had wanted and a slew of additional features I didn't know I wanted until I read about them. Excited to get one I noticed that the available date of release wasn't until March 25th, two days before Easter. I wanted to capture in video may grandchildren hunting Easter eggs. Well, I decided to purchase it and hope it would arrive before Easter. March 25th the camera arrived at my door step. I had already read the manual online from cover to cover trying to be prepared. At 524 pages, it took a while to absorb all this camera would do and that didn't include the 173 page Wireless Function Instruction Manual. After completely charging the battery, I began the initial setup. It was very easy and intuitive. Formatted the SDXC USH-1 card and went on a hunt for images to take. First impression - Fast. The 18-135 lens was amazingly fast to focus. Image capture from focus to capture was very quick, probably due to the DIGIC 6 chip speed performance over my older DIGIC 3 in the Xsi. I went from close-up to distance and each time the picture was sharp and in focus. Shutter lag when in high speed continuous was undetectable. Second impression - Solid. The handling and feel of the camera is solid even though it feels lighter than I expected. The seals and covers look like they can keep most of the environment at bay. After several shots where taken, I went in to upload from the camera to my computer. Fortunately, the Wireless Function Manual provided all I needed to wirelessly upload to my computer. I also uploaded to my iPad, using the Canon Connect App. Image quality was outstanding. Details, when compared to my Xsi, were superb. Still life, portraits, and distant landscape shots all had great detail. I sent most of the day Saturday customizing and registering the lens and picture styles to the camera. Easter presented plenty of fun shots of the grandkids hunting Easter eggs and playing outside so much so I forgot about the movie mode. Connecting the camera to my DLNA compatible HD TV was a breeze. We all sat and watched the days activities on the big screen. There are so many other functions on the camera that I have yet to use. To make a short story, long and confusing..........This camera has everything an avid hobbyist can use and a beginner can handle. Having been in photography since the days of the Kodak Brownie, I must say that this camera and lens kit is one of the best cameras I've had the opportunity to own.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Just like New. Had the camera for several months now and love it! Can't tell it from brand new and the photos are sharp and a big improvement over my old 40D. Love all the features and the video is awesome and the flip up screen works great for shots that would be difficult or impossible if you had to use the view finder.I like being able to transfer pictures direct to my phone through the Wi-Fi.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great camera I decided to get back into photography recently....when I did my research I decided before going with a more expensive brand for no reason before I really know what I'm doing - I'd better go with an older more trusted "to me I guess" company... When the time came to decide what camera Canon made it easy..... There wasn't a lot of guessing once I began to read information from the website..... I went with a camera & lens kit to begin since I have a wide variety of things to shoot from flowers to people to scenery.... All of my shots have been amazing...... & I find myself taking it everywhere.....

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Easy - and sophisticated! I bought this to replace a 60D. It is a GREAT upgrade! I love the touch screen - this alone is just about worth upgrading for. The images - and I've shot probably 5000 in a few months - are fantastic (or as fantastic as I can imagine. Absolutely no complaints! It really has pushed my level of expertise to "advanced amateur"

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Complex camera made simple I have owned several Canon cameras and have been happy with them. I never did, however, learn to use all the buttons and settings and mostly took pictures on the setting that let the camera do all the work. The 8D is so simple to adjust settings with the touch screen that I will now be able to use the functions as they were meant to use.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love the camera but back for repairs Bought the camera back in late Nov but after 3 months of use am having issues with it powering off and not turning back on without removing the battery. Sent back to cannon for repairs. Hoping the issue will be solved with no further ones down the line. They do have a nice return policy.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Not perfect, but good value. Camera body was in great shape, however the 18-135mn lens that came with it was dirty on the inside. I hope to clean it sometime but it takes removing screws and suction cups to remove the outer lens. It’s one of those things where it’s not really worth returning - but still annoying after paying a good sum of money. Overall still a good value.
