The addition of a detachable flatbed option gives you added flexibility to scan directly from bound books, reports and magazines.
With one of the fastest scanning speeds around, at 25 pages per minute, the DR-2580C allows you to work fast and efficiently. It offers same speed simplex and duplex scanning so that you get fast, high quality scans the moment you need them.
The DR-2580C provides black and white, 24-bit color, grayscale and duplex scanning, all with sharp, clear and detailed images, whether for graphics, photos or the lightest text. Features like high resolution (up to 600 dpi) scanning, auto shading and a Color Dropout feature that automatically removes red, green or blue provides control at your fingertips.
Scan light text, signatures, pencil marks and notes without problems using the advanced text enhancement mode. The DR-2580C also has a "remove punch holes" function that automatically eliminates unsightly marks so that you always get clean, professional scans.
