7200 rpm fast, quiet drive!!!
Amazing what difference a 7200rpm drive makes. Almost all larger drives (2TB and up spin at 5400rpm or so. I am imaging backups on multiple pc's and average write speed is 1.5-1.8GB/s with USB 3.0. A 40GB backup takes about 3mins. Anymore I don't even try to diagnose errors that crop up when I can restore in a few minutes (like Windows updates, driver updates, etc). The Axis has indicator lights showing connectivity (which our WD drives do not). Ordering larger ones shortly, the Axis is worth the few bucks more!

Crashed My Computer
Got all the way through the installation process and then I got "system error" and "diagnosing your PC" messages and my computer crashed. I had to reinstall Windows. I tried installing on other computers and they crashed too. I communicated with BuffaloTech Tech Support and they couldn't figure it out either. I finally just discarded it. I've done lots of hard drive and RAM upgrades, so I'm not exactly a novice.

Very friendly and compact size
I purchased this so I can storage all my videos and photos, and some work projects that I don´t want to have in my hard drive. The installation was a breeze, and the thing I like most is how fast is the transfer of files. This is amazing and I am very satisfied with the purchase.

Easy hookup!

I can print from my phone!
I bought try is printer a couple of weeks ago. I just love that I can print wirelessly! I really like the color, too! I got great support when I wasn’t able to get my computer set up correctly. Turned out I had nothing to do with the printer, but my computer.

Sorry. Seemed like a good idea. Whoever packed it did not inflate the padding. I would not load. Then I looked in to the reviews. Should have done that earlier. My last storage gadget was Seagate, far easier to load. Much less power use. More portable. My daughter bought me a newer/ larger Seagate 5TB & it doesn't even need to be plugged in to an outlet!

Lots of storage space. You do need to download software for backup to run. Otherwise can run the windows backup utility which also works. Would prefer the software to come preloaded.

Gives peace of mind
I bought this for backup of my HP all in one, 8 years old and still functioning well. I was shopping for a replacement and all of the models I could afford with the features I wanted have been out of stock. This way I can wait until what I want is available.My computer was upgraded to Windows 10 Pro and my USB's are 2.0. No issues installing the device, or backing up.
