The AirStation 54Mbps* Wireless Bridge Access Point is an affordable wireless networking solution that allows you to create a wireless network or to expand the range of an existing wireless network. The AirStation 54Mbps* Wireless Bridge Access Point point features a built-in 10/100M 4-port switch and Buffalo’s patented AirStation One-Touch Secure System (AOSS) technology, which enables you to set up wireless connections with the push of a button. AOSS automatically detects and configures other AOSS-enabled devices and clients to seamlessly create secure wireless connections. The AirStation 54Mbps* Wireless Bridge Access Point also supports WDS – also known as Wireless Distribution System or the Bridge/Repeater Mode, for point-to-point or point-to-multipoint communication and covers dead spots in Wireless LAN's. WDS allows the AirStation 54Mbps* Wireless Bridge Access Point to wirelessly communicate with other AirStation Access Points that support WDS. Other features of the AirStation 54Mbps* Wireless Bridge Access Point include support for Wi-Fi Protected Access™ (WPA) with TKIP, AES, 802.1x and WEP for added security.
