Rated 5 out of 5 by from Easy to use with lots of options The Brother P-touch PT-D610BT label maker has great connectivity options and is easy to use. I can simply print a label by turning it on, typing some words and pressing Print. I like that it’s so simple to use with the built-in keypad directly. It also supports printing via a smartphone or computer with their app and connecting via Bluetooth or USB. I was pleasantly surprised to learn that it comes with an AC adapter. Otherwise, it can be used with 6-AA batteries. It has a color display that is bigger and brighter than my previous label maker. In an office, a label maker is useful in making this clearly labeled and legible for everyone. The label maker also supports different fonts, adding borders, and even barcodes. It also supports different TZe tape sizes, up to 1 inch wide. I like having this in the office so everyone can help make things look organized and professional by being clear and legible.

You can actually use your phone to create the label and then have this print the label out - which is so much easier than using the smallish keyboard. It has a ton of different fonts and sizes - I think 17 different fonts built in and the label tape lasts quite a while. We have labeled all sorts of things and the tape is still going strong. This is awesome for a label maker

I love that it has Bluetooth and you can print from your PC and your phone. There are tons of fonts, many sizes, symbols and cool frames. This thing does it all.

It's faster than any label maker I've used. It also cuts automatically which is a plus. Now I will say it did take me a little while to figure everything out but the instructions were very helpful.

This is my first time having one at home and I couldn't be more pleased. The labels it prints are super high quality. The connectivity and templates make this super versatile and quick to make high quality labels. There are a million option on ways to customize your label, but it can also be as simple as typing a word and printing. Will definitely be using this quite a bit in the future and am glad I have it in my organizational arsenal. A really easy product to recomend.

Of course, you can quickly and easily generate one-off labels using the built-in keyboard. The label printer produces text that is incredibly clear. The software interface makes creating labels quick and simple. The printer is really nicely constructed. It will likely be put to service for many years. The case is a useful accessory for keeping the printer and a few label cartridges together. In general, I suggest this label maker for a wide range of uses.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Amazing P-Touch Label Maker I am the type that loves clean cut stuff, and this Brother P-touch PT- D610BT Business Professional Connected Label Maker | Connect and Create via Bluetooth® on TZe Label Tapes just takes the ball out of the ballpark. Never have I seen such clean-cut labels, very detailed labels, and high-quality print. One of its best features is the Bluetooth connection, never have I seen this in a label maker or USB if that is your preference. The color LCD display is just out of this world, and the quality print is outstandingly high quality. The "built-in" templates are very useful as well. A very user-friendly machine has amazing print quality, and the value is outstanding. Highly recommend it if you run a busy office/store. This is by far one of the best P-Touch label makers I've ever tried. Highly recommend it.

I love how many different label tapes I can get and use. It allows many different fonts to meet any need. I have never had a label maker that does frames on the borders. It has bluetooth connectivity which make my project very easy. The label maker also has symbols you can use, which I believe is around 900 of them. The display allows me to see exactly what I'm making in full color. One of the best parts is how large of labels it can make. It can go up to an inch wide which is very sizeable. At the end of making a label it automatically cuts it off, and gives some of the most crisp labels I've seen. Lastly, this label maker is very high quality at a fantastic price point. I highly recommend this for business use, but also for just at home use alike.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Organization must have! Easy to set up, can even connect via Bluetooth or your computer to transfer files you make to create labels. Several modes such as text, emoji, or several other type of symbols for your label making needs. Comes in hand with keeping my workshop for work organized with where parts are located. Can easily change the size and font styles by pressing shift and function to access that setting option. If you do not need to be connected to the internet for your label making needs then it is as simple as putting in the cartridge and turning the unit on. Endless customization possibilities. Does require batteries or could use the included charging cable. Buttons do not stick and respond quickly, nice overall weight to the label maker, not too heavy but also does not feel cheap like it could be easily broken.

It does everything I need it to and then some. I love that I can use designs from my computer and that it uses different sizes of label tape.

I'm not going to lie and say I completed my task, but the work I put in made a HUGE difference and having a quick and reliable way to label everything was a godsend. This is the best label maker I've ever used, and while thats a relatively short list, it was a solid little machine. I've even showed it to my colleagues since they use this type of thing alot.

My previous label maker made labels that were really blurry and these are really high quality. I needed a new label maker, and the great thing about this one is that it's super easy to use. Highly recommended, I use it for my business daily!

It’s so easy to use! I can create labels using the keyboard, and I also have to capability to connect it to a computer or smart device for more labeling options. It has various different fonts, font styles, frames, and symbols. It works fast, and the graphics turn out amazing. I have so many different uses for it, it’s extremely handy. This is one great, durable, easy to use label maker!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very Neat This label maker is pretty top notch if you ask me. I love the Bluetooth capabilities and that I can connect with my phone and computer. The labels are huge at 1” but you can use smaller tape. I also love that it precuts the label for you after it prints. My old maker you had to cut it and if you weren’t careful or slow enough it would mess up the label, so that’s a definite plus for me. It’s pretty big in size but I like it. Overall, very nice label maker!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Make labels from my smart phone! I’m constantly needing to make labels for my studio. I can’t rave enough about this label maker. It accommodates 1/8” to 1” labels. The color display is a nice feature. I do a lot of reprints so I love that it can store 99 labels. Not only that, you have access to 155 label templates, 17 fonts and 900 symbols. It’s lightweight at 2.2 lbs and works with a computer or Bluetooth smart phone. I love it and can’t wait to label everything!!

We recently moved to our new house and I love labeling everything so my wife and child know where the stuff is. It became super handy with my garage organization. You can connect your label maker to your PC and create/design pretty much any kind of label you want! Super simple menu, larger color LCD, memory function. Such an amazing labeler for household purposes or will be super handy for smaller businesses!

It was easy to connect via bluetooth so I can send things to it to print from my phone or computer. The display system is easy to read and preview a design. I love that it has so many fonts and symbols. It can save frequently used labels too which is great to make things more efficient. The software is easy to use and navigate. I highly recommend this for any busy office!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Not for professional organizers. I'm a professional organizer and I need to create lots of labels quickly. This device only allows you to create one label at a time, although you may print duplicates of it. It doesn't allow the option to create multiple unique labels and print and cut them at the same time. Meaning, if I'm labeling a pantry I have to type "Pasta" hit print (then hit it again to confirm I only want one copy of it), then once it's done printing and cutting, delete "Pasta" and type "Rice" then repeat the steps all over again. Printing is fast, but not that fast. And how do you catch all the cuttings when you're on the go? You'd have to have something you carry around with you to catch the labels as you're standing in the pantry/wherever to see what the next label is. The cutting feature is really nice and would be an absolute game changer IF it were possible to print multiple labels at once. If you print multiples of the same label, it can cut in between them, but they're just duplicates, not different words on the labels. Super disappointing because this is one of the few models that allows 1" label tape. But I can't print one label at a time when I have 50-100 to make. If you use it at your desk only and need lots of copies of the same thing, you would like it. But I'm returning.

(1) Have one with the Basics like the BROTHER PT-D-220 WITH TZe TAPE and the PT-D610 BACK LITE (2) Have a middle grade PT-D460-BT WITH TZe TAPE and the PT-D610 BACK LITE. with More Fonts, Sizes and settings, a Limited amount of options, and Symbols, and offer Connectivity. (3) A HIGH END model the PT-D610-BT with ALL the Features. ALL Models NEED a DISPLAY like the PT-D610-BT WITH a BACK LIGHT, A Permanent BACK UP BATTERY for Settings and SAVED Labels, TZe TAPE is a must, and a GOOD Set of Directions. The Instructions/Directions are "AWFUL". Print a small Booklet 5x8 that is EASY to follow and has LARGE Print. ANSWERS ALL Questions a Consumer might ask. The LARGE NEWSPAPER that comes with the Labeler is a Nightmare to follow, The 100 PAGE PLUS Web Directions are NOT much better ELIMINATE the WASTED Tape at the BEGINNING of the Tape. The BROTHER VIDEOS NEED WORK. NO place could I find your Warranty Information. HOW many YEARS is the Warranty ?? I Bought ALL three, the BROTHER PT-D-220, the BROTHER PT-D460-BT and finally the BROTHER PT-D610-BT Returned the BROTHER PT-D-220, and the BROTHER PT-D460-BT. The 220 Display was ONLY readable with a Flash Light Instructions say is can be adjusted to (5) FIVE different Brightness’s. I tried ALL (5) Positions, NO Change BROTHER tech Dept also tried adjusting the LCD Brightness They said their 220 did NOT change either. Need to be changed to the SAME Display as the PT-D-610-BT and use (6) AA Batteries. It has ONLY (3 Font) SIZES. Specifications say it has (5 SIZES) I have your PT-65 which I have had for YEARS. My OLD LCD "Display" is Much better than the PT-D-220 Decided to get a new one because of the TZe TAPE The Old tape became almost impossible to separate the Label from the Backing. Thought maybe my Tape was old, so I bought a BRAND NEW Roll from BROTHER. No better than the Tape I had. The BROTHER PT-D610-BT is AMAZING The PT-D-610-BT is the best Labeler around. I would HIGHLY Recommend it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Closer to perfect I have used three other label printers in recent years, one from Epson and two of the standalone Brother models. This is by far the most useful and versatile. Working with a software through the PC has not always been simple, but I have been able to accomplish pretty much whatever I needed to for the labels in my home. The combination of the software, PC, and printer allow you to use the fonts available on the PC, but I have not been able to figure out a way to use a couple of the fonts onboard the printer. I've been a big fan of Florida and Adams, and have had to use substitutes. A little annoying, but certainly no tragedy. If you really want to get labels looking exactly the way you want, this printer comes closest. I have found it to be very useful and quite reliable. The final challenge to me is to get more colors in Brother's labels. No green on white, folks? Seriously? I actually had to go to China to get them from a third party, not my favorite "go-to" choice. A little background on me: located in a suburb of Rochester New York. Using label makers for 10 to 15 years. Current product is used to label parts drawers for hardware, binder spines and covers, electrical switch panel and wall plates. I would recommend that friends interested in getting a labeler consider those available from Brother first. There really is no way to just say "buy this particular one." If that were the case, why would brother sell any more than just this particular product?

This could add up if you are making many short labels. I connected mine to my PC with USB. The software for this is less user friendly than expected but it does do the job.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very handy, better than I expected I was looking at hand-held label maker for tagging cable and equipment identification, when I came across this portable label maker. I like the flexible connectivity that allows me to use the local keyboard, use software on my Macintosh Computer, and even access it from my iPhone over Bluetooth! I use the Bluetooth most because I can simply design and print cable tags then collect them from the printer and apply. This means I don’t need another clunky piece of equipment with my tools and I can conveniently place the label printer. One star ding is for the odd interface and some confusing documentation. Some of the keys are modal meaning they will only work while in a particular mode - the documentation fails to mention these prerequisites. All-in-all I’m very pleased with my 610BT labeler. I’m glad I upgraded to the wider tape as well.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from ABSOLUTELY STUPID!!!!!! I have an old P-touch that was able to use TZe Tapes and could also use AV tapes to make paper address labels. This new machine has a pin inside that doesn't allow the use to AV tapes so you cannot make paper address labels. Basically, they want me to buy two machines to do the same function as one old one. I realize it has a host of fancy new features, but one would thing that being able to print address labels would be somewhat of a priority.

Worth paying a few extra dollars for this version. Large lit lcd screen and accepts the larger through to the smaller tapes. Really like this label maker.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from could be better I am disappointed with the 1-inch cut the device makes every single label you make, unless you choose multiple labels to print at the same time. but you still get the initial 1-inch wasted cut. What i do like is the customizing of the labels themselves.
