The PT-P700 is an easy-to-use, full-featured label maker. It's perfect for multi-user offices looking for simple connectivity and the ability to quickly create a wide variety of professional labels using a computer. Although it's great for individual label printing, it's particularly well-suited to multi-label printing, thanks to its fast print speeds, "repeat printing" capability, and an automatic cutter. And since no software or driver installation is required, it's great for sharing, or in restrictive IT environments.

Brother P-Touch PT-P700 is rated4.44 out of5 by63.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Works very wellI give it 4 stars only because it tends to waste quite a bit of the expensive tape. Works well and easy to use.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Rather difficult to install on a MacFor the most part I'm fairly happy with the unit think I would've rather had an older model that was not connected to my computer. The software was not intuitive it was pretty difficult to get the software installed on my Mac. Instructions were poorly written.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I prefer this to the keyboard productFor many years I have used a model of the P-Touch printer with a built in keyboard. But most of the time I used the keyboard on my PC. When I switched from a Windows PC to Mac, I need a new P-Touch that would support OS X. I decided to get one without the bulky keyboard. For me, the PT-P700 fit the bill ands I am extremely happy with it.l

Rated 5 out of 5 by from wanted this printer for a long timethis printer replaced my ancient pt310 which stopped printing after many years of service.the only problem was a win 7 64 bit problem where it would not turn on properly. after a call to tech support we got the correct pt driver loaded and every thing has worked great since then.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from nice mechineThis did work great, was easy to setup and print the first label. Small design problem was that the computer cable is to short too reach from the top on my desk to the back of the computer tower, would be nicer if it were 2 feet longer. After I used it a few times the software was lost. The desktop short cut could not find the program. The tech thinks that the software was in a buffer and not downloaded into a folder. It worked for a few days until the it was pushed out of the buffer. We needed to reload the software a 2nd time and make sure that it was in a subfolder. This did not work well, it kept connecting to one of the other drivers for standard printers. It took a few tries to get it to connect to the right driver.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Difficult Software PT EditorWith Windows 8 I could not download the PT Editor software from the website and find it on my hard drive then use it. . Thee onboard PT editor lite works OK but I would like something fancier with more functionality and customization. Especially since it is available - its just unattainable easily. Brother should make this easier to download with W8. I know I can get it to work but it may take me hours of trying - I'll just use the PT Editor Lite program for now. Disappointing.
