2 more features would have made this unit a keeper
A backlit display and an included power cord would have made this unit a keeper for me. But not being able to read the display after careful coaching by a Brother phone agent is causing me to return the unit. And the undisclosed lack of a power cord is the second deal breaker. If you can live with those shortcomings this may be the label maker for you but it is not for me. Will be returning in the morning.

Wonderful product
I've been using for a couple months now and I LOVE it. I'm using it all the time. I've been using it mostly for making stickers for my planner.

Label machine
I bought one of Brothers Label machine, I use it all the time. The machine is very easy to load new tapes, and use.
Too many uses for this machine to list.
I recommend this for sports, Home canning,
labeling children’s school items etc

Handy & easy to use with helpful and fun features!
Handy and easy to use. I would however like to be able to set the defualt for printing to less space at beginning and end of tape. There is a lot of waste for the beginning and end to cut. I was able to change the setting for a particular print job but not set it as the default.

So Many Features
After many years of use our PT-1830 finally wore out so we purchased the PT-D210BP which has so many features as compared to our older unit. It was easy to start using right away.

New Machine Different finctions
Works well but very difficult to see through display window. Dislike having to always confirm that you want only one label. Features seem unnecessarily complicated.

Now I am organized and happy!
I'm like a little kid at Christmas. Everyone always said I never know what to get Dad. I kept saying "I want a label maker". I didn't specify a PT-D210BP but I sure am glad someone finally listened and chose this model. Now nobody has to try and read my hand written labels!

So far so good, label machine is a tad bit difficult to use. Kind of hard to find templates that I want to use, but I feel it will get better in time as I use the machine more.

Poorly designed label printer PT-D210
Label maker wastes tape having over and inch wasted at beginning and end of label. Also it cannot print its largest font. It will only print a couple of letters and then quit. You have to reduce the font size for it to print labels.
