Poor bluetooth connectivity
Supper annoying, you have to connect to bluethooth every minute. It does not remember the connection.

Disappointing
The device works and the sleek box shape is portable and practicle, but I agree with other reviews... the the two apps, and other functionality associated with this device, are terrible. Adjusting the Setting is an act of 'trail and error' at best. Please do something to make using this device a great experience when using a tablet or cellphone. Really disappointed because my last Brother labelmaker was great.

No bluetooth capabilities makes it a 4 star rating
It's great but I thought it had bluetooth capacity. It is important for me to share this with my colleagues and having to stop what I'm doing so they can print is time consuming and inefficient, don't get me wrong I love it, but, it should make our lives easier.

Useful but needs versatility.
I like the concept of being able to create labels more creatively than before. I wish there was a way to also have a simple keyboard so some could be created fast and family members could create them by maybe using their phones.

Fast and unique designed label maker

Waisted label tape.
Send a firmware update to stop printer from snipping off leading edge of label tape at start of new label. Set it to snip leading edge only after sitting idle for 10 minutes.

Great Mobile Product !
I like this new P-Touch as it replaces a much older device that was offered maybe some 20+ years ago. This one is much more compact and more mobile and works with my phone which allows me to carry it along and whip out some labels.

Liar, Liar, Pants on Fire!
This is not a bluetooth printer! Your phone will work on BT; your computer needs USB, but the included cord will only work with a computer from 2005. Now I need to spend $$$ on some funky combo cable to connect to my laptop. That's why we use BT, guys at Brother. Moreover, you can create all kinds of layouts and font faces on the laptop app, but you cannot share them to your phone for printing. Just one font (ugly at that). Really, Brother, have you even heard of PDF or the cloud? Reminds me of sneaker-net days. I want my old Dymo back. At least it worked!

The drawbacks are the slight pixelization of the print resolution and the little one-inch squares of tape which are wasted with each individual label output.

A 1.5 inch WIDE LABEL-MAKER??????
I BADLY needed a 1.5 inch label maker. I DIDN’T need one with a keyboard since I much prefer using a PC to print labels. This unit is QUICK, QUIET, and produces perfect label’s every time????

Where has this been all of my office life!? I have become a bit of an office supply junkie and happened upon this gem because someone was getting rid of the tape. I purchased this and i don't see an end to my madness thanks to this labelmaking beast.

Excellent hardware held back by software
Excellent Hardware held back from full potential by software. The automatic cutting is wonderful - especially once you find the setting to not cut the last label until you're done printing to save waste. Unfortunately the design software is cumbersome to use for repetitive tasks and too complicated and slow for the most basic labeling. Additionally, that you have to manually connect via the OS Bluetooth settings every time you power on the device (instead of automatically finding it like every other modern Bluetooth printer) makes the one off printing almost a waste of time. Brother, you can still fix this. App and firmware updates are clearly possible. Fix this.
PS, this review interface is so bad it brings my whole browser to a crawl. Fix your software.

Good, but could stand some improvements
Good quality labels. I wish it didn't "waste" tape, that pictures would take up less space, that it was easier to understand how to work the different print options (maybe instructional video).

Nice, but…..
Once I figured things out, the labels come out nicely, BUT; I would have liked a lot more information in your directions especially for the software program. In my opinion, it would be useful if you could tie in the cube to Microsoft Word.

A brilliant successor to the old P-touch
I have owned a Brother P-touch label printer for many years. The machine has given impeccable service and is my go-to device.
Recently I bought myself a new P-touch Cube Plus. Not because there was anything wrong with the old one, but for my son's residence.
Being able to compose labels on my phone is a huge plus. The keyboard on the old device is limited. While I mastered it over the years, the convenience of using my phone is head and shoulders above.
Removing the backing to expose the adhesive is better in the new system. Instead of needing to fumble with the edge of the tape, just bending it along its length is much easier and nicer.
One oddity that I do not understand is why, when printing a label, the machine cuts off a blank piece of label material about 1/2 inch long. That seems unnecessary and wasteful to me.
And the UI for composing labels on my phone could use some improvement. It is a trifle clunky to my taste.

Poor bluetooth connection
I use this printer with an iphone 13. It works really well, except:
It can take up to a full minute after turning on for the bluetooth to connect, and you have to manually select the connection through menus on the app, every single time.
Also it uses a weird USB connector that is difficult to find, or even discover what it is here on the Brother site. Which just says "USB Cable" So don't lose the cable

Good, Compact, Useful, Connectable label printer
Have been using Brother Cube Plus label printer for a few weeks now. Its for personal use, so doesn't get real heavy use. I have a couple other Brother Label printers, but the P-Touch is not PC connectable and can't use as wide a label (but handy), and one connects to PC but narrow labels. This one includes near 1 inch labels which I also use for address labels, and connects to PC and Phone and can use a spreadsheet for the data source - things I was looking for. If I had some wish list options though they are - #1 - allow connect to PC using Bluetooth (it seems to only use USB connect to PC), #2 - When using a spreadsheet, allow row/record selections based on data in other columns in the spreadsheet. I have a spreadsheet of recipient addresses, and other columns that identifies times of the year I'd like to print them as part of a group - Christmas, Thanksgiving, Birthday, misc. I'd like to be able to just tell the software to print labels for people with a Y in the Christmas group, but it's not setup to work like that - one method you have to go thru the rows and highlight/select each row manually. Same issue if you're a small business and just wanted to print all that were in a certain group. Maybe someone will add that to a new release of the software. Also, the software is pretty easy, but still seems like it could be a little more straight-forward.

Best Garden Label Maker EVER!
I LOVE this label printer. I bought a case for it and I take it everywhere with me. I label my garden plants with the waterproof labels. HIGHLY RECOMMEND. Best labeler ever! I wish it was a color label maker. I would definitely use that all the time too. Best purchase ever!

I like it very much, but it is not perfect.
I like the label maker very much, but the labels are expensive and hard to find, and the auto-wake does not work so I have to remember to turn it on each time I use it if it has sat a short time.
