The problem was every time I needed to use it - I had to RE-INSTALL it!! It kept going off line and forgetting it was supposed to be a printer on my network!! The brother help desk just kept telling me the problem was my network! No it was not! Plus I have another printer here HP that is on line and has been for a year (never catch it off line (never have to re-install it).That was VERY madding!! Amazon sent me another Brother printer and - so far - it has not gone off line.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Efficient Little Office Machine I received this product for free from Brother in exchange for my honest opinion/review of the product. The Brother Printer 2750DW XL is a great printer to use if you work from home or in a small business office. I often work from home and found this printer to be very useful due its print, copy, scan and fax features. Each of these features are easy to use once you get up and running. The initial wifi setup proved to be a little challenging due to some connectivity issues with my router. I opted to utilize the USB connection which any technologically novice person can set up and be ready to print files instantly and without hassle. Aside from the wifi problem, the initial setup of the printer was straight forward including loading the toner into the printer. I`ve printed, scanned and made numerous copies on with this printer ever since it came in. Dropping by a copy store is no longer apart of running errands for me and I`ve found more ways to utilize this printer than I would`ve had I not had it. Being able to do everything from the comfort of my desk has saved me more hours of my day than I can even account for. Overall a great printer and I`m glad I have it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A very nice multi function printer and scanner I received this product for free from Brother in exchange for my honest opinion/review of the product. First impressions when the product arrived - It comes in fairly large box that struck me as a little larger then the description of "compact" suggests. I brought it in my home and began unpacking. Once I opened it, I found it to be well packaged, quite easy to open up each component and pull everything out. So far, so good.I removed all the wrapping and adhesive tape, again, very easy and straightforward. It took me a few minutes to figure out to install the enclosed toner cartridge but I`m a bit impatient and didn`t read the directions. Even without reading those, I got it set up, powered up, and working in about ten minutes total. I consider a product easy to use if I can figure it out without reading a half hour of instructions, so this is a winner in my book on that front. First use - Printed super fast and with practically no effort from my phone and laptop. The laptop needed a little time to get the software installed to scan but printing was a breeze. It took even less time to perform either task from my Android phone.By far, the best feature is the speed of warm-up to begin printing, that`s mostly instantaneous. My old printer took forever to warm up and get itself ready,this one, really quick and makes virtually no noise. Hit print, and you get your page a moment later. Scanning was also nice and quick and requires little effort on the users part. The resulting scans are of high quality and gives you many options on how to save files. Overall, the ease of setup, print quality and speed, and scanning abilities were better then several other multi-function devices I use, including those at work. This product won`t replace those expensive multi user machines you`d find in a large office environment, but this would seem to work well for a small workgroup or sole office that has a lot of printing and scanning needs. This machine would certainly be a step up for my work office - my machine there is quite slow on all fronts compared to this one. If I had anything negative to say, the overall size is a little larger then I would have preferred. In my mind, its not as "compact" as the word would suggest. The black color matches just about anything as you would expect, the noise level is quite low, and I appreciate the user adjustable auto off feature. Its made almost entirely of plastic so it does suffer a bit from that plastic-y feel but as long as you treat it reasonably, it appears that it would age well. The device`s configuration screen is straightforward and easy to use. Like any small screen, if you have meaty fingers as I do, you may have to be a little careful on how you type but slow down and choose each character carefully which is easy enough. The embedded app features are great if you utilize programs such as Dropbox, as I do, one less step is an added convenience. Duplex printing and the two years worth of toner make it a complete solution for most needs. To conclude, I am quite satisfied with this device.

Does everything well, except: It interfaced with my home landline and, despite repeat house calls from CenturyLink field technicians, this printer kept shutting down all of the phone lines in my home except one. Brother support was no help, and blamed the phone company.

This is a lot lighter than our old MFC and probably because of that, it’s a lot LOUDER when printing! But the print product is much cleaner and sharper! Works fine!

Gave old unit to my daughter to use as a dedicated fax machine. New unit works great and prints a lot faster. Love Brother products!

The newer model works well making crisp copies. We use it mainly as a copy machine, but we do occasionally print to it. It was easy to hook up to our wireless network and computer.

So that was great! Print speed and quality is also great. I haven't scanned or copied much, but it seems to be high quality there as well. My one problem is that it won't wake from sleep to print stuff. I have it connected to WiFi and this is true both when printing over our home wireless network and when using Google Cloud Print. It seems like the only way to get the print job to start printing is to turn the printer off and on again, then it works fine. Everytime. I don't know why, but it's frustrating. Other than, I'm very glad I bought this printer and it works great!

One the the best features for me is I need to scan a pile of one page documents each day. You can put them in all at once and it will split them into individual documents if that is what you need. I am working at home now and really love this printer.

I found the set-up easy and it has been performing very well. Especially like the under two cents cost per copy. I have also printed items from my phone as well as the standard desktop. The issue was smudging of the toner on the pages. Despite attempts to stop it, toner was smudging and sticking to the front and back of pages. It could have been a bad drum or toner cartridge, but since the unit was brand new, I expected better. Rather than risk missing my return window and getting stuck with a printer that was not functioning to my minimum standards, I returned the printer.

It's fast, has fax, connects to multiple cloud sources, has NFC, and everything is relatively easy to set up quickly. The printouts are crisp with ultra dark blacks and the scanner scans in color and converts to grayscale when printed. I bought this as my old (10 years) Samsung color laser printer is on its last leg and I wanted to move away from having to buy four toner cartridges. I recommend the Brother for any home or small business.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Cheaper to Operate than Old Brother We had an older version of this model which is constructed a bit sturdier. The toner and drum costs were expensive. After purchasing a brand new expensive Brother toner, the older model would NOT reset and we could not get it to work. Brother said to call them for further assistance that they could not provide in email. Hmmm. So we purchased this because it was cheaper to do so and the toners are less costly. It is not as sturdy as the other, holds less paper, but it works okay for our needs. Was fairly easy to set up. Has AirPrint and the older model did not.

I decided to go laser monochrome and researched with friends and read reviews in a number through a number of sources. Brother lead the pack in the majority view. So I purchased my printer and it has been just the best as I learn all of its nuances and capabilities. The scanning feeder is such a wonderful feature and I have been scanning and sending volumes of documents that I never could before. Time saving and quality printing are tops. I have named my printer and it has been a joy so far. No going back to any other brand. If anyone asks me I am a cheerleader that they purchase a Brother!!

Two things of note: scaring printing software that came with has made my life easier. The quiet and quick operation of printing on both sides of the paper clearly is also a delight.

This printer is by far the best printer I have ever used. Not only does this machine print beautiful images in color and black and white, but it scans and faxes. That is a plus in its own. I don`t have to go out to a staples store because I have my own office right at home. The plus side about this printer is the toner can last up to 2 years. I was amazed by that. Hands down best printer ever.

PACKAGING: I received this product in exchange for my unbiased opinion. I found the packaging to be very well thought through but was surprised about the inclusion of both a CD and telephone cable (presumably for the fax capability) as these seem like things that would be omitted from a printer in 2017. I was concerned about the styrofoam pieces disintegrating everywhere but they held up well and were easy to place back in the box for recycling.SET-UP: The printer was surprisingly light and easy to remove from the box and so too were the orange safety / packing parts on the toner cartridge. I liked having to remove each adhesive which gave me the added benefit of learning about each side of the printer without having to look at the manual, resulting in a printer & accompanying toner cartridge that`s easy to set-up. I was a little surprised that I had to set the date & time manually in order to access Apps on the printer but once I did that, everything was working as expected.UTILITY: This printer is not super quiet, has a bit of a consistent low hum and auto sleep mode has to be manually set (and so too does eco mode). The driver installation and simple WiFi / AirPrint printing made it easy to use from all of my devices and the print-outs were of very high quality, even from the first print. The app integration (e.g. Dropbox) seems useful but it was a bit more complicated to set-up on the printer itself so for those wanting this type of integration, it`s probably best to just use those apps from a device like a laptop, smartphone or tablet and print directly from there.PRICE: While I received this item for free, I think the price point is reasonable especially given the included two years worth of toner which was highly unexpected but very welcome. The additional cartridge comes packaged in such a way that makes it feel like the toner ink will last for over a year and not be dry by that point.OVERALL: This is a great little laser printer, the packaging was well thought through and there`s zero inconvenience in getting it up and running in a home or office. It works great wirelessly and delivers a terrific black and white laser print on all sorts of paper. The only negative, at least for me, has been the amount of power draw and consumption, which in my home office results in flickering lights when it is actively printing or even in standup (when not in sleep mode).

I am very, very pleased with my Brother MFC-L2750DW XL - I am able to print, scan, copy and fax all in one. I especially like the fact that I can print right from my iPhone - makes it so much easier when I am printing shipping labels and coupons from stores.The design is very attractive looking and is very easy to use and set up - I generally have some type of technical problems setting things up like this but did not experience any problems at all. The screen is easy to read and instruction are very clear.My other printer was very expensive to purchase ink for but this printer offers toner that will last a very long time which is great - my daughters are always printing out their homework assignments and its good to know that I will not have to run out and purchase ink anytime soon.If there was one thing that I would change, it would be the fact that its not color but for me that`s not really an issue as I almost always use black anyway. I couldn`t be happier with this printer. It does everything that I need it to do and does a great job.

Printers come and go when your running a small business, even in the paperless age. There have been very few printers that I would consider recommending to anyone looking to buy one. This brother printer just made the list. The pros and cons of a decent printer really depend on what your trying to do with it, so here is my two cents.Pro(s):I could have had my 2 year old nephew set this printer up in no time. It is without doubt the easiest printer I have ever setup. The large diagram with instructions on how to load the toner and the software disc made this set up a piece of cake. Connecting the WiFi was easier than connecting my mobile phone to the WiFi. The design is simple, nothing to attach out of the box except the power cord. It`s got metal where other brands have plastic. Printing multiple size paper, envelopes, etc. can be done without the fear of breaking the slider in the paper tray. Con(s)The Touchscreen could be a bit larger, and easier to read from an angle. I would recommend this printer to anyone.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from THE WORST PRINTER AND CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER If I could leave a negative number I would because a one star is giving my experience too much credit. I have called for the same problem 4 times and they keep telling me to do a purge and a cleaning. It will work for 1-2 days then back to the same issue. At what point do you finally accept that I have a bad printer!!! They even sent me a black cartridge that had enough ink to complete one purge and one cleaning. I have to keep buying more ink because of the constant purging and cleaning. I would NEVER recommend this printer or any Brother product if customer service and policy does not recognize that this printer is a lemon. Even the lemon law gives 3 strikes.

It is quick and printing quality is great and after over a week of use, I haven`t had any paper jams or ink smudges regardless of the paper type used -- paper jams and ink smudges have been issues that I`ve dealt with other more high-end printers. Another pro for this printer was how easy it was to install and the ease of use of the Android print app by Brother. I also like that the printer comes with two ink cartridges, a regular and a high yield cartridge. Another positive for this printer is the relatively low cost of replacement ink cartridges. Replacement cartridges for this printer cost half of what cartridges for my HP laser printer cost -- this will save me money right away and over the long term. The only negative is that it is a bit noisy while spooling and printing, but given all the pros this is negligible.

I received this product in exchange for my unbiased opinion.Item: Brother MFC-L2750DW XL Compact Laser All-in-One Printer with up to 2 Years of Toner In-boxSTORAGE: It is roughly the same size of the product that I was replacing. It fit perfectly on the shelf that I was using for a much older unit.ASSEMBLY: Assembly was pretty simple, following steps on assembly is key. Have also had more experience with larger all in one printers because of my experience messing around with the old one when it would stop working.STABILITY: The device looked very good, the material of the machine looks well made and should last. Especially considering that we do not move the machine around.PROBLEMS: In the time frame I have used it, roughly a week and a half, I encountered no problems that one could speak of. It was smooth with the functions that I use for my job daily, namely, printing, copying and faxing. PRICE: Was not a factor in my getting this device, looked online to find the price. For the main uses I was requiring the device for, the price point was slightly high.Last remarks, the product does all the basic features that i require well. It was very well equipped with all the features that I required. My favorite feature is some that cut out an extra step for my job: instead of having to send an email to print out something from my phone, connected to the printer directly. The instructions were clear to follow, from setup to usage. As mentioned earlier, this does everything my device use to do, plus has some extra features that make it a better device. It also prints and makes copies better than my older device. The product met my expectations and then some, as far as for improvements, I did not notice anything at the moment that would make the device more useful. Overall, the device is great and does the essentials needed for a small business.

I had never used their brand and instantly fell in love with it. Prints and handles other actions with ease. If you`re looking for a decent printer look no further. Software was easy to install and I have no complaints. Ink cartridges were a little hard to install but read the instructions and you should no problems.

I received my new All-in-One Printer, just in time for the Holidays, and it has been a terrific Holiday Gift! Setting up this machine was really simple--I was up and running in under 15 minutes. Everything was intuitive and easy--I did not even need the instructions. The machine is a little higher than my last machine, but still easily fits on my small tabletop. I love the way the machine runs. It is able to do so much more than my last all-in-one, but is still so easy to use! I can print and copy double sided, saving on paper. I can scan to documents, images or email, in a number of different file types, including word and jpeg. I can also interface with the cloud, print easily from my phone and tablet (LOVE THAT!). Print time is fast, and print quality is excellent--very clear and crisp. The colors on the scanner read very true--I can scan photos and they look great in my files. I miss the USB port for saving directly onto a portable device, but I can always save onto the cloud. Printer does not print in color, but a small trade off for the ease, speed and clarity with which I can do everything else. This All-in-One is terrific for my busy home office: I`m very happy with this product.

This machine requires very little attention; it just does what it needs to do. Set up was intuitive. As I went to install the printer on some of the devices on our home network, I found that this printer was already setup. I have printed from the Brother phone app too. It works well.

This all in one printer is exactly what I`ve been looking for. I really enjoy being able to scan documents and photos, make copies, and print using a wifi connection. I can also use a cable (not included) to connect my computer to the printer if I wish. The wifi feature is very convenient. I have used both my laptop and my smartphone to print documents and it`s been very smooth and fast. A friend was visiting and was also able to use her own cellphone to print an email. I have a small business that requires me to print a lot of documents, and so far I haven`t had any issues. The quality of the printing is excellent. Scanning is extremely easy, the pictures were immediately transferred to my laptop. I have a lot of old photographs to scan and this feature is so useful! The price is pretty competitive and fair for what you get. Overall, I highly recommend this printer.Cons: my laptop would not find the printer via wifi at first. It was pretty frustrating but after talking to Brother customer service, they helped me through the installation process and it was easily fixed. Secondly, this printer is pretty big and takes quite some space. However, it is a normal size for this kind of printer and I couldn`t imagine it being more compact.

Item: Brother MFC l 27500w Brother Wireless Printer: My home office has an existing ink jet printer in it also Multi-function, my existing printer was expensive to replace ink and could not handle my printing needs. The new printer provides everything I need and the toner last for a long time which is great when you`re on a budget. Set UP: Overall, it was very easy to setup. The most difficult part was finding clearance for the printer it is compact but it has some depth to it. The instructions very easy to understand and I was up and running in 15 minutes longest part of setup was finding my network password. Performance: The printer is solid. IT stays connected to the network and prints quickly the print quality is amazing, it Puts out a professional looking document, besides print quality the menus are easy to read and straight forward. The build quality of the printer is substantial and will hold up to light to medium home office use. PROBLEMS: Not really a problem just a call out this is not a color printer so keep then in mind when you order it. If you`re looking for a well built and quality Black and white Laser printer this is your printer.

If I had known it would make my complicated life less complicated, I would have gotten one sooner. I absolutely love the features I’ve used thus far, which are print, copy and scan. I hope the fax feature is as user friendly as the others. Scanning multiple page documents into one file has been the feature I use the most. Also being able to print from my phone or iPad from any room in the house has been amazing. Awesome features - awesome printer!!!

This product is fairly easy to set-up. There were no difficulties in getting the network online and connected to my router. The printer came with a disc but I never felt there was a reason to use it. I was able to connect to my cell phone almost immediately and print directly from my phone. The printing itself is quick an efficient and fast. Similarly the scan function quickly uploads and I found no difficulties with getting the documents to seamlessly transfer to my PC.I will admit that the word compact made me think that the device is small but I guess we are talking in terms of an office copier and not a personal device. In terms of an office all-in-one copier, it is quite compact, but in terms of a personal device, it is larger than I envisioned. Nevertheless, while the overall size was a little off-putting at first, I find that the printer blends seamlessly into my home. I barely notice it. I just want to be upfront to not expect a tiny device when you hear the word compact.I have used all of the products functions except for the fax service as I do not have a home telephone line. I wish this copier came with a program to use my cell phone as a means of transmitting faxes. Now, I will admit, there could be a means of performing this that I may not be aware o,f but if there is, I did not find it.I was impressed with the Brother suite of apps such as Scan to Office. While I haven`t had a critical reason to use it as of yet, but I did test it, and found that the feature worked well in terms of making scans editable. This is a feature I feel that I will get good use out of in the future.

Easy set up and extra toner make this an attractive model for home/office use. With both hard wire and wifi use, easy to print from anywhere. Like the fact that it has both a flatbed and feeder for scanning/copying. Good speed when printing with quality. Software works great, allowing scanning to computer with no issues. Quiet model with a soft motor that will not disrupt an office environment. Has a large tray to stock paper. Have yet to find a flaw with this model
