Rated 5 out of 5 by from HL-L6300DW Review Excellent Printer. I had a Samsung ML-2510 printer for years. Then I found out Samsung printers were bought by HP. HP is awful. I especially like the network connection and the low power draw in standby. The printer only used .54 kWh in 744 hours. It warms up and prints in less than a minute.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great copier but be aware does not scan! I love this copier, but unfortunately at purchase did not realize it did not have a Scanning feature... which we really need for our business

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I spend half the price to operate over the HP. Great printer for business use. It is in the operations department At my bank. I do not want another HP. Cost of operation is definitely better with the brother.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great printer for home office use Great speed, great print quality. This printer replaced another Brother multi-function printer (no longer needed scan/copy/fax that lasted over 7 years. The speed combined with the duplex function makes saving paper easy. The WiFi capability simplifies placement of the printer (does not have to be next to a computer or Ethernet port). It is being used in a home office setting (2 full time users) and provides great support for printing from Windows PCs, Macs and iPads.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from GREAT Printer!! Computer works fine. Very easy set-up and very easy to use.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from No longer easily print from MP Tray I previously had the HL-L5200DW and was able to print from the MP Tray by just placing an envelope or piece of paper in it. Now you are required to open up the the back of the printer, make several modifications to the printer settings to print. Forget about printing envelopes from Microsoft Word, almost impossible. Technical support was useless and resolving the issue.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from It won't adjust to fill out claim forms! I had an earlier model HL-L600DW and never had any problem filling a claim for 1500. A few adjustments and it filled out the form perfectly every time. with the 6300 neither of my software companies have been able to make adjustments (up, down, left or right to get it to fill out a HCFA1500 claim form. This is my fourth Brother printer in this model series and the only one that I can't print claim forms on!! What is the matter with it?

Rated 5 out of 5 by from It’s been okay so far I upgraded from a 6200 and paid twice the price so even though this machine is much slower to begin a print job which I can live with, but the print job occasionally has little black marks over some of the pages. So far it’s okay but waiting to see how long before the pages start looking smudgy like the 6200 did right after I replaced the fuser unit or whatever you call it so I was faced with a new one or upgrading to this one. I print 700 or 800 tax returns each season on this printer and don’t expect it will last forever like my old HP seemed to but for the price one season isn’t that bad.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from OK print is you don’t need AirPrint. Printer worked well with Windows computers. The support for AirPrint is dismal. The printer locks up the iPad / iPhone until after the printer warms up and the print finishes. This is unacceptable. The printer goes into low power mode and does not wake up. The low power, sleep mode, had to be disabled to get the printer to work. I have the printer away and replaced it with an HP 4001 printer that did not have the problems that the Brother demonstrated. Ow power mode

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Brother Printer Model HL-L6300DW Review Brother has long provided low cost decent quality laser printing. Mostly I'm satisfied with the printer. However, it does seem to leave light black smudges on some of the pages and requires frequent cleaning. That is my only complaint.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Works perfectly on a MAC network The printer setup perfectly on a home MAC network. The printer is very fast, but it is a little loud for a home environment. It is billed as an office printer, but I wanted the speed and reliability I would purchase this printer again.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent Product. I recently began a job which requires me to download and print approximately 350 pages of letter and legal size documents per task. The Brother-HL-6300DW handles these tasks with ease and has bee most reliable. I highly recommend it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Product I have a tax office and this printer has stepped up to the task. I'm actually still using the "beginning" toner cartridge although it is about done. We go through a lot of paper and I've not had so much as a misfeed. If there is any negative comment I can make it's that the alpha-numeric keypad is a little finicky and could use some improvement.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from brother HL-L6300DW 1st printer was smelling hot all the time and started to crinkle the papers. They replaced with a refurbished one in a little over a month it is not printing in spots.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Ok printer A little disappointed as at less than 6 months after purchasing we are having issues with it creasing/wrinkling a lot. Did try and trouble shoot with help on line chat but that did not fix the issue. Was concerned we would have to take it to a service center in which case then we wouldn't have a printer. I am pleased they are sending us a replacement printer before we ship ours back, so at least we won't be without a printer. Since this unit is only 6 months old I would hope they send us a brand new one and not a refurbished one but they can't guarantee that. They are adding just another 30 days to our warranty which I will be requesting to be changed to a year since a new unit.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Extraordinary Laser Printer The HL-L6300DW is an extraordinary, best of class laser printer. Cannot think of anything negative to say. The printer does its job spectacularly well. There are no issues with it. I would recommend it to anyone.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Sturdy Reliable, but awkward duplexing setup After a few seconds of contemplation, spits out print job very fast. Awkward envelope handling, After printer driver updated, the printer no longer automatically duplexes. Requires saving document as a pdf and picking the 2 sided option in that print screen. Annoying,

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very professional printer with lots of features Very happy with the Brother HL-L6300DW. Yhe only thing that I noticed is that went printing multiple pages, say 50, the printer pauses a lot to, as it seems "catch it's breath" which slows the printing speed. Never had that problem with the Brother HL-5470.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I'm afraid it has a serious issue I love the fact that this printer is fast, and it prints darker text than my old printer (a different brand. Unfortunately, this printer has a problem when it is cold -- i.e., if it hasn't printed anything in a few hours. The first couple prints come out with toner across the top inch of the page. It looks like dirt. I tried wiping the drum, cleaning the fuser wire, and setting the driver to "Improve toner fixing", but no luck. I was hoping a firmware update would fix it by forcing the fuser to heat up a bit more before creating the first print, but the recent firmware update actually made the problem worse.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fuser unit failed after only 7400 pages printed I have been a Brother user for years, owning numerous Brother products. This is the first time that I have been disappointed in a Brother product. After only printing 7400 pages, the fuser unit failed causing blotches to appear on any document printed. I consider this to be unsatisfactory.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great printer for the price This is a great printer so far, and remarkable for the price. However, two things stop it from getting a five star rating. One is that, when printing more than about 30 pages at a time, the papers start to mess up. Also, we are a public library, so the off button is right up front, too easily accessible to patrons.
