Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very impressed!! This Brother PE900 machine is a great tool to have when doing many embroidery projects. It came with directions that were easy to use. It tells you how to download an app to get embroidery designs. It came with the right amount of tools in a little bag so i can keep them all in one place. The one thing I love about this machine is that it is wireless and very simple to understand. The buttons are easy to push. It is like magic watching this machine embroider a design! I am looking forward to doing many different projects in the future.

It’s extremely well made and durable. I can’t believe all of the cool designs that this machine does. You have presets on the machine, plus you can use the Artspira app for even more designs and ideas. It’s not difficult to use, its self threading needle helps a lot. The bobbins are easy to wind, and it’s easy to thread with your colors. I just love this awesome embroidery machine!

It's easy to put together as long as you use the instructions! This machine is great all the embroidery design the machine comes with but you make your own or find other ones and have it made! I'm in love with this machine! It has me so impressed of the things it could do! You could embroider pretty much any design! Takes some space but easy to put away and clean up!

As someone who does not know how to sew, I was hesitant on whether or not I could use an embroidery machine. Let me tell you- if I can do it, so can you! It is straight forward to set up and insanely easy to thread. I have already completed a few small projects and I am so impressed with how professional the results look!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Complicated but Amazing! This is by far my new favorite toy. It's a learning curve and has some complicated features, but it makes really nice and mostly hands-off work. I really like all the ready made designs, and the option to craft your own. I haven't worked on my own designs or different colors, but it's an exciting venture. This is a great machine and I love it!

I had to watch youtube videos to learn how to get it threaded. But i'm a beginner when it comes to embroidery machines. But after I watched a few videos It was so easy to thread! I learned so many new things and it was so simple. The machine was super fast and got items done so quickly! I was very impressed with this machine since it was my first one to mess around with. I would highly recommend this machine to beginner users. It was so easy!

The instruction manual tells you everything you need and the threading path for winding bobbins as well as for regular threading is outlined and easy to follow! Additional items like installing the bobbin thread are outlined as well on the machine as well as in the instruction manual.The green/red start/stop button is invaluable and gives you ease of use if you need to cut a thread or change threads Using multiple color threads is extremely easy. Once the machine is done with one color it will stop and wait for you to load up the next color. This machine also cuts jump stitches if you want it to! ability to transfer designs wirelessly or via usb! The Artspira app has a few designs but I found most value in the design database transfer available on the brother website. I can wirelessly transfer any design I have in kg computer (in PES format) to the machine wirelessly. 5) Huge hoop for lots of great designs! I’m finally working on some In the Hoop designs!

It does take some practice to get it going but once you get the hang of it, it’s easier. Machine is Mia pretty compact and doesn’t take up too much space. Easy instructions and love the many designs it can make.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very Pleased With Brother PE900 I’ve had zero issues with my PE900. I thread top needle well; watch it like a hawk. It occasionally pulls thread out of the needle, but I have had success with all I have attempted. Bobbin was noisy at factory setting. Slowed down stitch speed and all okay. It is a rather noisy machine. I bought upgrade for larger hoop…still waiting for it.

I’m familiar with the brother brand, so I researched which machine would work best for me. I settled on the PE900. For a beginner, this machine seems fairly straightforward with the setup. I did google some videos to be sure I was using it correctly. But right out of the box it’s good to go. Set up is fast and easy. There are a lot of adjustable settings so which give you the ability to change things as you need. I’m very satisfied with the performance and would purchase again.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great beginner Machine After using this machine for approx a month, these are the pros and cons I've identified: PROS: Illustrations made it simple to setup and get started on first project Light weight – easy to move from place to place Seamless network connections Exceptional stitching results Needle threader easy to use Good for small projects Use of purchased designs from on-line venders CONS: Loud while stitching Lack of a foot pedal Took a few tries to refill bobbin Overall a good machine for a beginner to get started with machine embroidery.

After using it, I let my bestfriends mom try it out because she makes quilts. This made the process of working on the quilts much easier as I could help her more but as she is older it was important that is was extremely easy for her to use as well!

It's in the shop currently with a list of issues. I wanted to Love this machine but sadly it has caused so many issues and ruined clothing.

Had no trouble after practicing for a short time. Only difficulty was with transferring designs from the internet. Still working on that.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love it!!! I'm so happy with this embroidery machine. It's my very first one, and as a beginner, it's been perfect so far. It comes with the tools you need and the instructions tell you everything you need to know to get started. There's still been a slight learning curve since I've never done it before (such as learning all the terminology lol) but the instructions are very clear and detailed. There are tutorials right on the screen. The touch screen is easy to use and there are a ton of options for designing and editing. I've been playing around with the premade designs to get a feel for it, and now can't wait to start designing my own. I will definitely be spending a lot of time using this machine!

I grew up with a craft family business doing craft shows every single year, well one specialty my mom did was doing embroidery for others and also family members who wanted personalized baby blankets. I love this new PE900 it is so much fun to use and yes my mom is jealous, so jealous she was convinced she now wants one too. My first design was the butterfly because who couldn’t resist making a pretty butterfly. I highly recommend this machine to anyone who wants to try embroidery.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Full of features! I got this few weeks ago and have been playing around quite a bit. It is a really sophisticated machine with lots of features and functions. I followed the manual for the first few work and was able to just go with the onboard touch screen after that. The 5x7 frame allows me to embroider most of my clothing and design items. The automatic needle threader was a charm. There are a lot of inbuilt design and fonts to choose from. I did download the app and connected it so that I can wirelessly send designs to it as well. The most impressive part is once I press the green button and it runs by itself creating precise designs and pattern. It is turning out to be quite a hobby for me!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from More than happy Already having the SE626 gave in to the excitement of the PE900. Does everything the adds claim. Out of the box the bobbin tension seamed high but after retensioning it sews wonderful. Still not sure what the "embroidery tension" is on the setup pages. The other tension that comes up when hitting the scissor button(reads 4.0@ startup) should be all thats needed. However love both machines and sometimes even let the wife use them.

The fact that it came with so many designs is wonderful , but then it connects wirelessly to the internet to download even more designs makes it so much better. I absolutely love this machine. It is going to be my Christmas, Birthday, and anything gift giving with love projects.

I watched some youtube videos about using it and just got started it. It is pretty cool all the stuff you can do with it. I got some images digitized into the proper file type and have been embroidering my own designs. There is a learning curve of a few hours kind of learning the steps, then you can really get going. It's a cool machine

Out of the box, this machine was easy to get set up and started. The instructions are great. You don't have to be a tech genius to understand how to use it. The built in designs are a great start to play around and figure out how to use it. I have no complaints about anything with this machine.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Wonderful addition for any crafter This machine was easy to use after I read directions. At first thinking I've used sewing machines before I figured I didn't have to. But I couldn't figure it out at first. Once I read directions to get it going, it's easy. I've bought extra thread since it only came with white, it was decently priced. This machine makes it so easy to monogram or personalize all fabrics. So far I've done just a test piece, then tee shirts. I'm working on adding designs, but I will tell you that it didn't link to my chromebook laptop. I had to use my desktop with windows 10. Even though my laptop has windows 10, I'm not sure why it doesn't connect.

I was overwhelmed when I first opened it, but between the manual and some YouTube videos, I was able to figure out how to work the machine. There are tons of preprogrammed designs and many ways to customize text. It is fascinating to watch it embroider.

I was able to not only use the preloaded designs but also add some of my own Great for holiday presents and might take to crafting. I cannot recommend enough. If you esp love embroidery designs but have issues with sewing this is for you.

Set up was super easy and connecting it with the computer and software also very easy to do. The pre made designs are a great way to start out before doing your own designs and to see how everything is going to work. The designs come out really neat with very tight stitching and telling people you did it yourself is such a cool feeling and everyone always wants something now embroidered.

But on the second test project the needle threader lever broke, it’s plastic. Why make it out of plastic when you have to put a little force on it. Is there a replacement? Or do I need to return the entire machine??

I did look at videos on the machine before I even opened it up just to get a feel is what it’s like and how it functions. I love it and it works amazing.
