Easy as Cake...or Pie to set up. Just plug in the power cord and then plug the hdmi cable in to your HDMI eArc connection on your tv. Would have been nice to have them supply the hdmi cable, but I had several. Well packed, instructions easy, and the sound is incredible. The base is actually good for not having dedicated bass speakers. The sound bar size is perfect as it doesn't take up too much space.

Looks and sounds fantastic, easy set up and simple remote. The dialogue mode really elevates the quality of video with bad sound mixing (even these annoying films where the actors whisper and they forget the audience is not next to them) Like other Bose products, quality look and feel, and sounds like a much larger set of speakers than its footprint.

Bose brings the quality as always.
Quality of sound is exactly what Bose brings with this sound bar. We love everything about it. Simple and easy to setup which took longer to unpack then to setup. However, the packing was excellent as well. My husband has hearing problems. This did the job. He is able to understand what is said on the TV. But he doesn’t have to blast it to hear. Great purchase.

Don't expect to get blown away with the audio quality. It is clean and definitely better than TV audio, but missing bass(Bose wants customers to spend another $400 for bass unit. I really like the speech mode and how easy it is to switch between the audio modes. It is a good Bluetooth speaker as well. A little pricier, but that's what you pay for the brand. I feel it will be a great choice for Gen X and Y that will appreciate the simplicity. Gen-Z will not be satisfied with the sound.

This Bose TV speaker is great. I really like how you can control the voices on a program compared to how when a TV ad comes on and the sound just blasts out. This Bose TV speaker eliminates all that blasting from one scene to another. Really a great product.

great sound but sometimes it doesn't connect to TV. I had to manually using the bose remote to turn it on/off. It should have automatically power on and off with the TV.

Stopped working after first use
Worked fine the first day it arrived. Connected to my phone using bluetooth. Sound quality is good with good bass quality. However, it stopped working the next day. The speaker did not respond to the remote control at all. It also didn't play the power on sound when plugged to the electricity. Tried all possible troubleshooting ways but none worked.
I ordered a replacement. Exact same situation. I tried contact Bose online support, and took it to Best Buy Geek center. They both thought I got defect device and recommended me to return.
I understand occasionally people got defect devices, but getting two bad ones in a row means something is wrong with the design. I'm returning it instead of getting another replacement. I lost my faith.

I am using this as my computer speaker. Blutooth is easy to pair with my Mac. Good Bose sound. The only thing I wish is having a physical power button in case the remote is lost/broke.

This speaker was very easy to setup and sounds great. We added it to our bedroom and it fills the room as watch movies, and holds it own in comparison to the Bose sound bar 300 in our Livingroom.
