Husband loves his birthday present!
This is a birthday present for my spouse. He's been asking for noise cancelling headphones for a long time. So I checked out Consumer Reports and this model and the QuietComfort 35s were highly recommended. I decided to get the 700 in black because of the positive reviews. My husbands loves these headphones and they have been very useful when he's sitting outside reading and the headphones "cancel" the noisy neighbors.

Noise Cancelling 100%
The headphone is sleek and comfortably designed. There are 10 noise cancellation setting, and 10 is close to complete external noise cancelling...quite amazing. The sound is great, and the integrated and undiscernible touch pad on the side is quite useful.
The only downside (If I must list one is the touch pad sensitivity could result in unwanted changes if you inadvertently touch where it's located (undiscernible). Otherwise, it is a great buy!

Great sound, but a couple issues.
They sound great and fit very nicely. I higher, and possibly unrealistic, hopes that the noise canceling would be better. My wife and I share an office and her voice is dampened when I use them, but I still hear some. The biggest disappointment is that I can't fully charge them. The longest charge I seem to be able to give them is 17 hrs. I'm debating returning them for another pair.

Excellent solution to WFH with barking dogs
This is a perfect solution to working from home with three barking dogs. I can hold online meetings and no one on the call can hear the loud barking!

Good sound, but forced to use their app.
Sound is excellent. The app is not good. It rarely connects so I have to exit and reboot the app multiple times. Also you cannot easily switch sources.

Awesome Headphones!
At first they were just like any other headphones. But then I actually read up on them and saw a video on how to use them properly. As soon as I did that, they worked exceptionally. Ambient sound literally vanishes when I use them. Awesome!

My Favorite Workout Buddy
Part of my daily run/workout routine. Even with motion and sweat, it sounds great and the battery life is wonderful. I only charge it about every 2 weeks.

Very good, unless you want to connect to PC/Mac
They sound good, the ANC is very good. Comfortable, but not a secure enough fit to use them while exercising. Connected to my cell phone they're very good. If they are also connected to my MacBook then the sound will twitch on occasion. If they're connected to my PC (alone or w/ phone as well, they will outright CRASH after a few minutes and the headset reboots itself, string tones and all. Unacceptable.

Direct plugin sound quality is poor
The sound is awesome when connected with Bluetooth along with its noise canceling capability. However, when using direct plugin cable, without power, the sound is so plain, you lose all that sound quality. Not recommended for direct listening especially for recording studio.

Not worth it!!!
I gave these headphone 3 stars because for the price I thought they would be much better than the Quietcomfort 35 II but they are not. I am surprised at BOSE because the sound quality on the 700's is basic at best. The sound to me is flat with no bass and no matter what I tried I could not get my downloaded music to sound as good as the Quietcomfort 35 II. Also they do not fold.

These headphones are absolutely perfect for me! Only issue I have currently, is that mine didn't come with any charging device.. So I am currently not able to listen to my headphones. Kind of disappointed, but overall still a great product. I can't even find charger for it anywhere because the only Bose charger doesn't work with it.

Good but not the best
Sony makes better sounding headphones however this product crushes it when it comes to blue tooth connectivity (2 devices at once) and microphones. I was born with a bad ear and this device does wonders for my ability to hear everything around me and pin point the location. Something I have never been able to do.
Never used noise cancelling so I can’t compare the noise but I can stand on a busy street corner and it’s very hard to hear cars rolling by me. The technology is simply put, amazing.
Two cons - sound is good but it’s not rich. It’s not warm and I feel fails to provide what I would consider amazing sound. The other issue for me is the head band. While this headsets fits snug against my ears and I can pass out with them on what they do not do is stay on my head. If you lay down these will slip off your head with ease. If you turn your head fast or lean over they may fall off. They most definitely will fall off if they are not around your ears. One other minor complaint would be that these ride right around your neck when not in use.
Outside of that I would recommend this if they were discounted. I got them because of the Dell reward points. Cost me 200.00 which is a good price imo.

Bose 700 review
I do not see the $100.00 difference for the 700 over the Bose 35. I honestly believe from experience the Bose 700 is better than the Songs for the money. I was honestly expecting more from Bose with the new model. The design is sleek, and very modern.
I am not sold for their price. If they had come in $75.00 less, maybe the design would sway me, but not for the sound.

I had to get these after I unfortunately lost my Bose QC35 II headphones. These headphones are really great. I love the updated look, and they are very comfortable. The battery life is extremely long, and there are a couple of big updates: 1. The noise cancelling is better AND you can adjust the level from 0-10. This is great for planes. It also has a button that pauses what you are listening to and pauses the noise cancellation, which is very useful when a flight attendant comes to your seat, if you get in a cab, etc. Improvement #2 is that there is an auto shut off feature if you forget to turn them off which saves battery life.

The best wireless noise cancelling headphones ever made by Bose. I use them almost everywhere when travelling (bus, train, subway and plane, mostly for making calls, but of course great for music a well. Put them on and be transformed to another world.

Shuts out unwanted music!
I am a basketball coach and was able to sit in a gym during a tournament while other teams were warming up and not hear any of the music being played over the loud speakers!

Great build, sound and comfortable. However, the iOS Bose app is faulty at times and sometimes the bluetooth connections is intermittent when connected with two devices simultaneously.
