Now everyone on your network can share a secure broadband connection

Pure Networking components are affordable, go together easily, and work with any standard Ethernet components you may already own. The Pure Networking Broadband Router from Black Box is a versatile and secure interface between a small network and the Internet.

An "always on" Internet connection such as a DSL or cable modem is particularly vulnerable to hackers. This router adds a layer of security by translating your WAN IP address into private LAN IP addresses, hiding your network from the Internet.

Plus, there's even more security: PAP/CHAP/ MS-CHAP authentication provides password protection for users dialing into your network from the outside. The router supports VPN tunneling via L2TP, PPTP, and IPSec passthrough. A security log displays any illegal attempts to access your network.

The Broadband Router makes it easy for up to 253 network users to transparently share the same broadband Internet connection.

Because the Broadband Router has a built-in 4-port Ethernet switch, you may connect PCs directly to the router to build a small network. To expand your network to more than four PCs, just connect an Ethernet switch to one of the router's ports. Auto-sensing ports adapt automatically to 10 or 100Mbps Ethernet.

The Broadband Router's built-in print server enables you to connect a parallel printer to your network so that everyone on your network can use it. The print server supports LPD printing protocol and a Windows print server network driver is included.

Easy-to-use Web-based management is accessible through any standard Web browser.

Provides firewall protection between network users and the Internet.
Multiple users can share a single broadband Internet connection.
