Rated 5 out of 5 by from Ton of power in a small form factor!! I received this USB-C Dual Display Docking Station about a week ago from Belkin to provide an honest and unbiased review. The small box came packaged in what looks to be a cube shaped recycled box, which is awesome as this company seems to care about the environment. When opening the box you will find the unit sitting at the top and underneath a powerful 135 watt power brick, power outlet cable, USB-C to USB-C cable and couple of papers referring to the safety guidelines and a quick start guide. My first impressions of the unit were very positive as the it is very sturdy and has a great build quality, typically of all Belkin products. Once connected to the power outlet it will emit a blue LED light and when you connect the USB-C cable to a laptop it will change to green. The computer will automatically detect it as it is just plug and play and you will have expanded your two port pc into a powerful multi-port hub capable of connecting two monitors through HDMI at the same time. Besides the two HDMI ports in the back, this tiny but yet powerful docking station also features two USB A 3.1 high speed ports, a Gigabit ethernet connection and the power slot in the back. On the front you can find another high speed USB A 3.1 port, a 3.5mm audio jack for headphones or speakers and the USB-C slot, which also works to charge your computer thanks to the 85w power delivery passthrough, so you eliminate the need to have another cable hooked up to your machine in order to charge it. It even has a Kensington lock on the side if you want to chain it to your desk. Additionally, the unit has couple of screws on each side and on the bottom in case you want to fix it to a rack or desk in particular. I think this comes very handy if you want to maximize the use of space and hide it somewhere for a better convenience. The only thing I would love this hub to have is an extra USB-C port as I have a small display that connects through this type of port and my laptop only has one USB-C port so it means I can't add this display. The only thing I can do is connect the docking through the regular USB A port on my laptop and go from there, but it will be really convenient to have that extra USB-C on the hub, it will help to expand even further the connection possibilities. This docking station is perfect for working from home as it doesn't take too much space and is also perfect for travel thanks to its portable size and small charging brick. It works for any USB-C and USB-A powered laptop. I have also tried it on my Android powered smartphone and works like a charm!! It transformed my small phone into a full blown two monitor, keyboard-mouse combo and multi-tasking station on the go...! I highly recommend it for everyone working from home or traveling while working...!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent Product! I have a Dell Latitude 5491. My existing dock of similar dimensions has never worked. I was a little hesitant about whether or not to try a different dock. Plugged this in and started moving things one by one. Everything works! No degradation in display performance (business use not gaming). I now have one item to disconnect and I can carry off my laptop. I love this!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Product - Charges Surface Pro Bought this for Surface Pro 7 i5. Initially we purchased Surface Dock 2. However, we encountered a bug, where the monitors distort, after removing and redocking. We tried returning it and same issue. Tested on multiple Surface Pro 7s with same result. Forums point to the same bug, which is yet unresolved. The Belkin dock, was the only other dock we found, that charges the surface and has dual monitor capability. The only downside is no 4K, which isn't a sticking point for us. Overall, great buy and has all features we needed.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great USB-C Dual Display Docking Station i got this couple of days back, its an amazing product, having 2 USB ports, 2 HDMI ports, 1 headset port, and even a key lock feature. the product comes with usb-c cable that is great. i was able to set it up with out any hassles Initially i tried it by connecting to a usb-c extension, that did not work and it was not displaying the green light, after that i connected directly to the laptop and it worked. Overall i liked the product, its performance and quality.

When I am at the office, I have a laptop that is connected to a USB-C dock that not only provides my laptop power, but also dual monitors and my keyboard and mouse and a wired network connection. The single USB-C connection from my laptop to the dock was super convenient when connecting and disconnecting. When I looked into getting one of those docks so I can connect my laptop at home to my dual monitors, I was shocked to see that it was almost $300! But now, this Belkin dual display docking station is everything I need at the fraction of the cost but with all the same convenient features. Now, instead of taking my laptop and plugging in the charger, monitor cable, network cable, keyboard, and mouse individually, I get the convenience of a single cable just as I had at the office. This thing is a life saver considering that I am doing all my work from home now and that I need to quickly connect and disconnect throughout the day to help run the household. Thank you Belkin for finally making a quality product for a great price that fits my needs perfectly!

All the things missing from my device are now available to connect to the outside world. It is very nice to be able to charge my laptop while connected to two monitors. Great Product.

It’s also very convenient to disconnect and reconnect a multi-monitor/accessory configuration with a single, included USB-C cable. When traveling the dock and power supply are small and light enough to easily pack into a laptop bag and it has plenty of ports to charge multiple devices when on the road.

It works seamlessly, easy to hookup, everything you need to install. I would have liked a little more detailed instructions but other than that I love it and wouldn’t use any other display dock. As a teacher using this to double my workstation display made things much easier especially during this difficult time navigating through the pandemic.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Doesnt Work with Mac Got this product on schedule with regular updates. Tried to use it with Mac Air and the Monitor connection doesnt work. The USB connection and charging for the Mac Air work as expected but not the HDMI monitor connection. Tried downloading the latest driver as mentioned on the product but still no luck. Moreover just to confirm if it is not a monitor or Mac Air problem tried a cheap subsitute and Apple adpator. Both of them worked with any problem.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Easy set up - works very well. This Belkin Dual Display USB-C worked absolutely correctly right out of the box - super easy. My two standalone monitors responded immediately as soon as I connected the HDMI cables and the connection is solid and clear. I also plugged in my phone and headphones, which charge on usb-A, to the dock and everything charged and performed as I needed. There is no apparent degradation of charging capability even when all of these devices are plugged concurrently. The dock itself is also staying cool to the touch. Dock is lightweight so it moves around a little but has rubber feet which helps keep it in place. Overall - a great produce and I am very pleased.

It provides the ability two use, multiple monitors 2 HDMI, and three USB slots. The docking station is small in size but is very powerful compared to my previous docking station. I highly recommend this product and have been using it every day.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Nice universal docking station This is a nice small package that allows for easy and minimal wiring to connect your dual monitors to. I set up my wife’s laptop to her two 27” monitors using HDMI as well as plugged in the usb to power the ports on the monitor. Set up was simply but you should first download the DisplayPort driver for your PC. I like that it was not complicated at all. It only took a few seconds for the hub to be recognized by her computer. It’s the perfect size to sit atop a desk where the monitors, laptop and peripheral accessories take up space but allow you room to write as well. Compared to the matching brand soaking station, this takes up less room and has the HDMI ports that the docking station does not have. Nice addition of the USB ports on the hub as well. Overall, I would recommend this product for your laptop or replacing and older docking station. Looks good as well as performs as expected.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Lots of flexibility!!! This docking station reminds me of those old Veg-O-Matic commercials. It slices. It dices. It makes fries. So here’s a little box that does it all. USB ports for phone charging, a connected external drive, usb printer and whatever else you’re constantly connecting to your laptop. Oh, extra monitors. No worry. External speakers? Sure. Bottom line is you can conveniently plug in all your peripherals and connect through one port in your laptop. Sure makes it easy to pack up and go. Then reconnect once your back at the workspace. It’s not a lifesaver, but it’s an amazing convenience. Setup is a snap with plug n play on Win10. Oh, I forgot to mention it’s also a power supply for your laptop. The box can be mounted our if site and really cleanup desktop clutter. Negatives? The power supply us huge. Far bigger than the actual dock. Thankfully, Belkin provides plenty of cord to keep it out of site. I was a bit disappointed in the Ethernet speed. It’s rated at a gigabyte, but my wireless connection was considerably faster. Still, for convenience, this dock offers plenty of flexibility with a minimum of desktop clutter.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from One cable to rule them all Pros: - It's great to be able to a single cable hooked up to my MacBook Pro that can handle power, video, network and peripherals. - Being able to have three screens at once (2 external + laptop screen) is really helpful. I can have Outlook, Slack, etc running on the side monitors while using the central monitor for actual work. - Very compact, leaves more room on my desk. - Was able to hook up an additional USB3 Hub with no problems. (I've had issues using a hub with other USB-C docks.) Cons: - On the Mac, you do need to install the DisplayLink software, which has to be running in the background for any connected monitors to work. It runs in the menu bar so at least it's not taking up space in the dock, but it would be great if it wasn't necessary. - Sometimes windows get resized really tiny when plugging or unplugging the dock. Hopefully software improvements will fix this issue.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Quality product and simple to use Instructions were minimal, but not really necessary. I plugged in the power supply, and I plugged in two HDMI Monitors. Using the USB-C cable that was provided, I plugged it into my HP laptop. I also plugged in my monitor speakers to the audio jack. The unit is "Plug & Play." Everything worked great. I Plugged everything in and it just worked. Including the screen on my laptop, I have three screens to work with. No settings to fiddle with. This was an awesome experience. This product is definitely worth purchasing.

I lets me use 2 monitors to work off my laptop, which is handy when I am working remotely or editing things at home, not having to minimize and maximize screens. A time saver for sure. This, simply put, does exactly what you expect and you won't be disappointed!

We also tried a Windows Lenovo ideapad 710S, but it only had a micro HDMI whereas the inputs to this device are either a USB3.1 Type A and Type B. We couldn't find a suitable adapter.

Belkin support does not offer to sell replacement chargers and have been unhelpful in recommending a suitable replacement. Be prepared to try ordering random cables with no idea if they will work if any go missing.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from This was not a WOW for me The product worked mostly, and I was satisfied with the overall amount of ports. Unfortunately, there are many other docks on the market that are more visually appealing and make leaving the unit on your desk more of an option. I also think that, while there are SOME front-facing ports, it would have been nice to see a few more and perhaps even a card reader. I don't think the order or placement of some of the ports makes all too much sense.

There was no setup at all besides plugging into my work laptop. IT JUST WORKS!! Solidly built and with just the right ports - multiple USB-A, 100W power delivery, HDMI, VGA, gigabit Ethernet, and even an audio jack. This really is the one stop shop dock for me. I'm going to be carrying one of these everywhere I go in my work bag

As they are in hybrid mode, they have to bring them to school 2 days per week, and have to pack the charger to do so. I can have them use this at home and leave the chargers in their bags, saving time and effort. Cool!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Just What I Needed It took me a little while to review the Belkin USB-C Dock. I waited because I wanted to install Windows 10 so Turbo Tax would work. Using the USB-C Dock allowed me to take advantage of having more than one monitor to work from. Having to switch between applications can be problematic. The Belkin USB-C Dock was fairly easy to setup. I didn’t have a USB-C port on my laptop, so I used the USB-C cable that came with my phone to attach it to a USB 3.0 port. Windows 10 recognized all of the devices on the dock without issue. I didn’t need to download any drivers. I’ve had no problems with it so far. It’s been able to stream HD movies using the Ethernet and HDMI ports without any noticeable flicker or lag. NOTE: If you decide to use a USB-C to USB-A cable like I did make sure it is a data cable and not just a charging cable. Some phone charging cables have on two wires in the cable for supplying power to the phone instead of the 4 wires required for power and to communicate with a computer. If you’re not sure which one you have, connect your USB-C device (in my case, a phone) to the computer using the cable. If it doesn’t see the device, it might be the wrong type.
