I love this addition in my office setup usually I have to juggle between available ports in my laptop. Had to replace keyboard if I want to connect headset but having this one hub have saved me lot of time and hassle. I can simply plug this one with my laptop and add mouse and keyboard in this port. It had been such a hassle for me to transfer pictures from my camera to my Apple Mac Air but this 4-port mini hub, the process has been so much easier. This a great product for when you need to charge and use more ports but your space is very limited, in terms of where to plug it all in at. This protect is very reasonable and can save you $$ in terms of having to purchase a new computer or whatever it may be, due to not having enough “ports” (charging space). I recommend you try this. Again- this is a super convenient product for those that may need it. This is also very affordable.

Because i dont have an extra base and it didnt come with one which is a downfall

It's of typical Belkin construction (good), with a built-in cable and 4 ports (2 USB-C, and 2 USB-A). It works as expected, with no major problems, though I think the built-in USB-C cable is a bit on the stiff and short side. The size is good for travel, and four ports is about right for a travel hub. All in all, a competent but not-quite widespread use product. Just make sure you actually have USB-C, as this does NOT support connecting to other devices.

But I keep my laptop on an elevated base to keep it from overheating, and the chord was so short it just hangs. The mini-hub’s chord is 2 inches long and weighs two ounces. I think a 6 in chord may have been better for me.

My camera connects via usb so it was definitely difficult trying to figure out a solution to sync the two, but this port makes it super easy to connect. I love all of the power ports it has and how easy it was to figure out!

It’s very compact so if you need to take it with you places, it doesn’t take up much space and it fits four different cords at the same time as a charging base. I plugged mine in at work, and everyone can use it throughout the day as we always have many cords coming out of our surge, protector or power strip, and I used this on a power strip, and it works great! I highly recommend this product for anyone who uses too many cords, and needs to have them all in one place. ? I generally like Belkin products, and this is another one that I appreciate the craftsmanship. ?

This product would be ten stars if I could use it to charge a bunch of things with but instead it just feels like it has such a limited use for just very specific situations. It still DOES do what it says it does but I would have really liked to see a little more.

It doesn’t have an HDMI or DP port, but I would definitely recommend if you need to pull up at Starbucks and connect a keyboard and mouse to your laptop. Not a fan of the permanently attached cable, it's too short for my taste. It tends to drop connection which I hate as well, it's not reliable. The speed isn't great either. I think for the price it could be better. I wouldn't not recommend or buy this product.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good 3.1 Hub, needs option for Power Adapter The hub does what the description states... allows you to use multiple USB A type and C type devices with an existing USB C type port. It does not have passthorugh charging, and will therefore not charge your latptop / macbook (nor does it state anywhere in the product description that it will). Based on the reviews I am seeing, people did not fully read the product description... As a simple USB hub allowing for USB 3.0 transfer speeds it works great. My portable Type C drives function as they should with this hub, and it can charge my Type C enabled smartphone. The only negative, is that it should come with a power adapter to allow for more current use across the USB ports, to support faster charging and power of larger / more power hunger USB devices such as full size 3.5in External Hard Drives.

This USB-C hub is awesome to be able to charge my USB-C type products. The only negative feedback I have on this item would be that the cord is VERY short. I had to get an adapter to extend it so I could plug it into my computer and still be able to access it.

The ports are nicely made and the plugs fit in smoothly. My favorite thing is that the plug into the hub is built in, so you’ll never lose it. It fits neatly in any pocket of your tech pouch, making storage a breeze. Design: The matte black finish gives it a sleek look, but the shiny plastic parts are prone to scratches. Ports: It has four ports, but they could use some improvements. Speed indicators would be helpful, and the USB-C ports could do with passthrough charging. Spacing: The ports are well-spaced. Even larger thumb drives won’t block the other ports. Cable Length: The cable is on the shorter side. It’s great for a clean look, but might not reach as far as you need. Build: The dongle is solidly built. There’s no flex or creaking when you squeeze it. Cable Mechanism: The stowaway cable slides in and out smoothly. It stays put unless you intentionally pull it out. In summary, this dongle is decent. It’s not the best thing in the world, but it does its job well enough. It’s got some nice features and a few areas that could use some improvement.

This one is great if you one have 1 usb-c or if you only have one left and need two it just take one and give stuff you didn't need or want but got your only choice was the cheapest brand the just do simple. There are so many pros to this item. For starters it’s small enough to fit in my hand. I think that’s such a great pro because it will not take up a lot of space in my bag. Also it’s lightweight so it’s not weighing down my bag. You can just put it in your bag and not have to worry about it. Another pro is that the ports are spaced out. This is a pro because the I feel like it’s gives each wire their own space so nothing gets twisted up. I feel like with the space everything can be organized well. Also the USB-C cable is foldable which is another pro. I say that because if you’re not using this you don’t have to worry about it getting ruined. I was able to use it for my MacBook Air. I was able to charge my phone and use a mouse. This is honestly perfect for anyone who uses a laptop, especially if someone has to do work on their laptop. Overall I would recommend this to anyone who has a laptop! 10/10

I also work from home so I am able to take my work with me where ever I go, as long as I have internet. I forgot my laptop charger at home and there was not a store to even by one from. I remember that I had packed this new little gadget in my bag. My cellphone uses a C-charger but I only had one for my car. This little box worked great and allowed me to charged everything and keep it all charged!! Definitely recommend getting one just for those "in case" moments!!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I found my ideal mini hub I had another Belkin hub, but it was only for one USB and USB Type C and it wasn’t convenient to use it when I needed multiple devices connected to my laptop. This USB-C 4-Port Mini Hub comes in cute mini size which fits into my palm, doesn’t take a lot of space like some other bulky versions, and convenient to use when need my phone, headphones and iPad connected to laptop.

This was a bummer and super difficult to do certain tasks. Soooo happy with the belkin mini hub! This is a life saver and I love how small and portable it is!

I always have my external mouse plugged in which takes up one usb port. When I plug in a printer or hard drive, there’s nothing left available. This little gadget plugged right in and was super easy to use. Plug and play. I definitely recommend this as there was zero lag time with multiple items plugged in and I am able to use more than one HD at a time.

The USB A ports work fine, but the USB C port doesn't charge my macbook, even when it is the only thing plugged in. Wish I had opted for a better adaptor and not thrown out my money on this one.

I plugged this into my new Macbook Pro and then tried to use my external monitor through the USB-C ports. Would not work. Monitor plugged directly into Mac works fine. Next it tried the USB 3.0 ports with a USB SD card reader. The reader lights came on but the card was not recognized. When I plug the reader in through a simple converter cable purchased at Walmart it works as expected. I purchased this hub through Amazon so I am returning it.

(I have an HDMI to usb-c converter that works fine--directly into my macbook pro, but not through this black box.) Wow.

Since the MacBook only has one port, any USB Hub that doesn't pass the charge through from the charger to the MacBook is more or less useless. Otherwise I'm sure this hub is great, as most Belkin gear is, but for any MacBook owner it's a complete waste of money.

I bought this thinking I could keep my power cord connected thru one USB-C and use the other USB-C to add an external item. The regular USB's work fine but the USB-C ports DO NOT work. Neither USB-C port will give power to my computer, neither usb-c port will recognize my usb-c SD card reader, and only one will give power to (but not allow me to access) my external hard drive. The card reader and external drive have no issues when connected directly to the usb-c drive on the computer. DO NOT WASTE your $$$$.

To Belkin, I admit the your video and description *is* accurate, but you really aught to spell out that this hub will NOT answer the need that so many of us apparently have! Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good 3.1 Hub, needs option for Power Adapter The hub does what the description states... allows you to use multiple USB A type and C type devices with an existing USB C type port. It does not have passthorugh charging, and will therefore not charge your latptop / macbook (nor does it state anywhere in the product description that it will). Based on the reviews I am seeing, people did not fully read the product description... As a simple USB hub allowing for USB 3.0 transfer speeds it works great. My portable Type C drives function as they should with this hub, and it can charge my Type C enabled smartphone. The only negative, is that it should come with a power adapter to allow for more current use across the USB ports, to support faster charging and power of larger / more power hunger USB devices such as full size 3.5in External Hard Drives.

It is nothing more, but you cannot blame Belkin for that. Although Belkin might consider highlighting this fact in the description, as most users will buy it for Macs with no other ports to charge... but that tells more about apple... (no offense, I am a MacBook owner too)

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Works but needs to be more travel-friendly My laptop only has two USB ports, and I needed two additional ports to connect my wireless mouse & wireless keyboard. I hooked up this hub port via the laptop's USB-C port and it works well. No issues so far. Although it is a bit clunkier & heavier than expected; and does not lay parallel to my laptop very well due to the cord position. Wish it worked more like an attached adapter rather than on a cord dongle. I think that would make it lighter and more streamlined for travel purposes.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good, but there are a few things to be aware of. It primarily does as advertised. I find it a shame that there are not any USB-C hubs that offer many many USB-C ports. This one offers only two. So, you're only getting one additional USB-C hub. What is more, there are a lot of external displays that accept USB-C; however, this hub won't transmit to an external display (at least not in my experience with two different external displays touting USB-C connections. The form factor for this hub is good: nice and small

At one point they thought it was my computer and had me send it in for repair; they found nothing wrong. I than purchased the splitter UBS-C 4 port it works as it should. I have no problems.

With both connected to the laptop, there are now six ports available for three types of connectors. They are small, high quality products that take up little desk space, and they travel well.

Took back 1 star only because I would have preferred a jack rather than an attached cord. Recent issues with computer add-on is that any issued turns out to be the cords or their terminations. If this cord goes I loose the device.

The keyboard works, but the monitor does not. What a useless product. They should have a list of things this CANNOT do vs. what this can do because the latter is very, very limited to the point of being utterly useless. Returning the product.

It is very nice and slim. The output cable folds nicely to store inside the profile of the device. What a nice design!

The computer does recognize the iPhone and also the telephone is being charged, however the computer does not charges... it´s worthless..... don´t buy it... The worst? You can't erase or otherwise do away with it. And it doesn't work well with macOS Catalina. It actually mounts copy after copy of this volume, so the Finder sidebar shows 8 or more "Ravpower Tool" volumes by the end of the day. I don't want this at all.
