Love the protector but bought one 11-22-25, broke in 3 mo. Tried to get replacement recently was told not available yet,would get back to me. Nothing yet so I purchased another one with “lifetime” warranty. I’m really not happy with the service.

The Worst Screen Protector I’ve Ever Purchased
Why does Apple only offer this as the screen protector for the iPhone 16 Pro Max? At $40 you would assume it was a great product, but it’s not. The code they included with the instructions took me to a page with instructions for an iPhone 8 screen protector, so I ended up looking on YouTube. The instructions printed on the packaging is useless. Once I got the protector installed it has bubbles all over the screen that are impossible to remove. I’ve had multiple iphones for over a decade and never have I had a screen protector this awful and at $40 it’s a total ripoff. Belkin needs to do better and Apple shouldn’t even be associated with this terrible product.

Bubbles on the bottom and side edges of screen
The screen protector itself seems pretty good... But the problem is that air bubbles are left on the edges of phone. I got a replacement from Belkin and the same situation occurred with the replacement. the bubble runs along the bottom edge and on the upper right side edge of the screen protector. I've tried using a credit card and a microfiber cloth to take the bubbles out. I can make them disappear for a few seconds but they continue to come back. At this point, I don't think I got a defective screen protector. It just doesn't have a complete seal around the edges. Either it's the screen or the aligner that is just a little off. I'm not going to ask for another replacement at this point as I think I will still have the same problem. Just going to move on to another screen protector at this pint.

Horrible quality and warranty
First time I buy a screen protector and didn’t last me more than a month without bubbles and cracks. Only got it cause of the warranty and to find out it doesn’t cover pretty much nothing! Horrible product and customer service. Never again. Going back to my $10 long lasting protectors.

Bought two of these screen protectors- one of my wife’s phone and one for myself. Within a month or so both of these started to bubble up and chipped. Filed a replacement claim and was denied since they consider it as normal wear and tear. They claim the warranty covers items that are faulty at purchase. If the item is defective upon purchase one would just replace it at the store instead of filing a warranty claim. I even mentioned to them that Apple recommended purchasing their screen protector at the store because of replacement warranty in case the screen protector cracked. They still denied the claim noting that is was miscommunication on Apple’s part. Highly recommend buying other brands since they at least don’t falsely advertise their “lifetime” warranty to sell products.

I have a iPhone 17 Pro Max, I had the Apple store put a screen protector on my phone, it was the Belkin Ultra glass 2, I like the face it covers the entire display but let me warn you carry a microfiber rag as the screen protector smudges like crazy, i will not use the Belkin ultra unless they make changes to it,

Poor quality , absolutely zero support when it comes to warranty. Lot of better alternatives are present at 1/3rd the price. We got 3 of them for each of our new phones last year. Each of them had the same exact issue. Cracking from the corners. Requested for replacement , it is big scam. No response and email discourages for follow up citing it would delay processing.

I paid for the lifetime warranty at the Apple Store for Ultraglass SPS IPH . On my first replacement, I received one that was completely different from the first/original one. On the second, you can see at a glance that it's not the same quality or thickness of the glass. I was scammed. Don't buy warranties on accessories because it's actually money down the drain.

Edited to save others the step of responding to Belkin's boilerplate response to these reviews: there is no point in doing so. The will simply confirm by return email that the warranty does not cover what we were informed it would cover, and that those who bought the product are out of luck when it cracks (which, as the reviews suggest, may be quite quickly and with little apparent impetus.)
Echoing what others have said ... The warranty is a sham. Apple sold me on this screen protector specifically because it supposedly has a replacement guarantee if the Belkin product cracks. Belkin refuses to honor that warranty. And my first lasted all of one month; the second (which I purchased rather than seeking warranty replacement, since I was traveling at the time and Apple said it could take a couple weeks) lasted 4 months before cracking. The second Apple Store, too, reiterated the warranty; their staff were really surprised that I was paying for the replacement rather than go through Belkin. (And I am very careful with my phone; the screen protector's edges are apparently especially fragile.) I remember Belkin as having great products customer service back in the day, but I would *not* recommend buying now.

Don't rely on their warranty!
I purchased the UltraGlass 2 three months ago at a local Apple store along with my new 16 Pro Max. I was lead to believe that the warranty covered wear and tear; however, after filing my claim for a cracked screen protector I found out differently. According to Belkin they only warrant manufacture defects and not wear and tear. In other words their warranty is useless in my opinion! I do not recommend this product!

Frigile and bad applicator
I bought this from the Apple Store and ever single edge plus corner had various cracks. This came from just being in my pocket. Never dropped the phone (iPhone 16 pro). Put in a warranty claim, after jumping many hoops. They did send me a replacement. I didn't seem to have the option for the version where Apple can apply it for you. Supposedly that option existed; even if it did, horrible claim process if I couldn't find it. The replacement took a long time to arrive (longer than their multiple predictions). Fine. At least they replaced it. However, the self application process is flawed. When I took it up (off the applicator), the screen protector bent and the top right corner didn't follow the phone. After taking it completely out, it did remain on the phone. However, there were now tons of bubbles all over. Not a good process. This is way too expensive of an item to have so many issues, especially compared to their competition.

I’m seriously impressed with this screen protector. Installation was a breeze, and the fit is perfect. I purchased this product in the Apple Store and had it professionally applied. My main motivation for going with this relatively expensive option was the warranty. The screen protector started chipping (now in 3 corners!) approx. 2 months after purchase. I reached out about a warranty replacement -- for the past 3 weeks, I've just continuously been given the runaround. No replacement product has shipped because of purported stock issues. But clearly it's available from the website... It's frankly outrageous how fast a $40 screen protector broke and how this company is not allowing me to access the claimed main benefit, which is the lifetime warranty replacement. I've been using my phone with a broken screen protector for a month now... unacceptable.

I was excited to get this screen protector and then it turned into a disaster. It was ridiculous trying to get past the manage cookies screen on my phone when I was trying to watch the application video. The instructions were not very clear on the box or in the video. The dust removal sticker was 1/3 the size of my iPhone 15 screen and the last straw was the amount of bubbles left, which were impossible to completely remove. I now have a $39.95 plus tax product that I can't use.

Consider a different protector
Unfortunately, I can't recommend this screen protector. Its adhesive is not strong enough to stay in place over time, and it severely affects the usability of the phone. I’ll be looking for a more durable option that provides better protection and stays securely on the screen.
At very beggining of usage I noticed the protector started peeling off at the edges, which was concerning. After just one week of usage this only got worse, and now half of the display is completely. It seems to be the adhesive not holding up well.

Remember to slice your fingers open and get a pic
I bought this at the Apple store because of the lifetime warranty. I was pushing my three kids in a wagon to a birthday party, my phone fell out of my pocket in an intersection without me realizing it and I found it 5 minutes later run over by a car. I peeled off the Belkin screen protector and almost cut myself doing so. Phone was fine except both sides were smashed. I immediately threw the protector in a trash can because it was unsafe. I didn’t want me or my toddlers to experience bodily harm. Little did I know that Belkin has a warranty policy that would exclude common sense and safety. Be warned, make sure you figure out how to get a photograph of the screen protector during an emergency or they won’t send you a new one. Even if you have a receipt and date of purchase.

The company will not help you and instead of talking to you t$36 email you a refusal to replace or refund a bad product. Customer service is terrible. Purchased screen protector for iPhone 17 Pro, and I noticed damage to the corner of the screen within 24 hours. It was covered under warranty but Bellingham then sent me through a litany of unnecessary hoops over the course of 4 weeks. At the end of this needlessly arduous process, I was directed to a site with HSBC and I encountered a different, yet similarly frustrating process that was devoid of any meaningful guidance or user friendly interface. After wasting so much time and effort, I decided to give up and let Belkin keep the $39.95. Worst customer service I’ve encountered, and I never buy Belkin products again.

Had it installed at Apple store on my iPhone 17 ProMax as soon as the phone was taken out of the box, so a perfectly clean screen. Plus, Apple used their mount to perfectly apply the screen protector. However, the entire perimeter of the screen protector never fully stuck to the screen. I've made 4 attempts to register the screen protector on my Belkin account, yet it still won't show as a registered product on my account. The screen cracked after a 1 foot drop... I just submitted a warranty claim which was no easy task in comparison to ZAGG's simple process.

Bought it directly from the Apple Store on launch day and registered online for the warranty, which btw was a confusing and clunky experience probably on purchase. Screen protector cracked in the corner recently so I filed a warranty claim. It's been nearly two weeks and of receiving multiple "sorry! out of stock, it could be 30 days before you get a replacement". I can't get a real human to contact me about this being unsatisfactory. This company deserves a class action lawsuit. Read the other reviews, I'm not alone. They're just refusing to honor their lifetime warranties.

I have the warranty for this screen protector and upon receiving my replacement for my original screen protector, I just recieved the screen and a layer to peel off to put on the phone. I put it on and now my phone has at least 30 little bubbles on it that won’t go away. This is going to drive me nuts.

Junk x 2. Bought and had installed at the Apple Store this past January. Both mine and my Daughter’s screen protectors are peeling away, mine in the upper corners and my Daughter’s on the lower portion. The Apple Store stayed we have to go through Belkin Hey Apple! Don’t sell items you don’t support) and Belkin requires a copy of a receipt, a photo of the failed product and a photo of the packaging…seriously? Rubbish product and service for Belkin and Apple. My experience is don't buy, not durable.
About a week after placing this on, it developed a crack in the corner that crossed the bottom. The phone itself has an apple case on it, which shows no damage in the same area so not sure what caused it outside of normal use. Unfortunately, it took a few days to get support to respond for a replacement request and now the product is back-ordered with no ETA or other replacement product. Time to go back to the other big brand starting with a Z that normally doesn't have stock issues.

I bought a Belkin screen protector from the Apple Store in Abu Dhabi, and I’m very disappointed with the quality.
After only 10 days of use, the protector already has many scratches and even cracked after my phone slipped from my hand from a height of around 20 cm, which is very minor.
For a premium-priced product sold at an Apple Store, I expected much better durability and protection. This level of damage from such a small drop is unacceptable, and it does not meet the quality standards I associate with Belkin or Apple.

Screen protector was installed at the Apple Store. Six days later it started cracking in the lower part of the screen. Both iPhone and protector were completely new, I didn’t even have dropped my cellphone or exposed it to extreme temperatures. I requested the warranty replacement but it was denied: “it doesn’t cover normal wear and tear”. SIX DAYS BUDDY! THAT DOESNT SOUND NORMAL! For my previous iPhones, I used to buy cheap 10 dollar screen protectors (and there comes 3 in pack) and these have been way better and more durable than this one.

Horrible Ultra Glass warranty and product
bad product. cracked and chipped easily. very difficult to get the replacement product. Apple should not sell this. It looks bad for them to sell a product and warranty that is not up to standard. Belkin has horrible customer service and I tried to go through Apple Care which was of course not much help because it is not an Apple product.

POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE _ WARRANTY COVERAGE
Although I do like the product, my screen protector developed a spider like crack that progressed along the screen. It was under warranty and I did not drop my phone. After multiple communications I began receiving 'auto-replies' with them declining to replace my screen protector saying it wasn't covered under the warranty. POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE!

Replacement warranty process is stupid & dishonest
The screen protector is fine, but it cracked like they all do. When I went to claim the free replacement Belkin told me I have to send in the original receipt, even though I had registered it on the Belkin website the day after I bought it. Who saves receipts forever? I bought it at an Apple store, went back there and they couldn't even retrieve my receipt on their system. Belkin is so dumb! Why not ask for the receipt when it's first registered and you're still likely to have it? Answer: Because Belkin doesn't really want to honor their warranty! I've bought other screen protector brands and the replacement process has been easy and seamless. I'm going back to them. Particularly disappointing because I buy a lot of Belkin products, they are high quality...but now I have no respect for their customer service practices.

Less than a week
Purchased through Apple when I bought my new iPhone and it broke less than a week after when I dropped it only maybe 2.5 feet onto a carpeted floor. Also had Apples MagSafe supposedly lending protection. Overpriced and frankly, useless. With other brands offering warranty and increased effectiveness it’s a no brainer to avoid Belkin products.

Warranty replaced for a Cheaper screen!
Got this for my 17 pro max at apple store. Got broken after 1 drop. They REPLACED me with a CHEAPER one! Which could barely cover the whole screen showing rainbow effect around the screen edges. Disappointed! How come the apple store still has them in stock but Belkin by itself runs out? I need my original screen replaced, not the cheaper one. This isn't called lifetime warranty. You guys could do better!

Installation box doesn’t align the screen protector perfectly with the phone screen. Bubbles are difficult to get off the screen protector. And it cracks extremely easily. I had a different company’s screen protector last 3 years without issue and this cracked within 2 days. Would never buy Belkin again.

One of the worst screen protectors I have ever used in my life. Plastic wrap would be a better choice than this piece of absolute garbage. It doesn’t provide any protection whatsoever and cracks your actual phone screen, not just the garage “protection” screen. Do not recommend to even Google phone users.

Not so strong after all
I purchased this screen protector for my iPhone 16 Pro Max after hearing good reviews. To my disappointment, the screen protector shattered within a week. I have requested to replace to the screen protector, but I’m being told there is no inventory. I guess they just aren’t as strong as they once were.

Extremely Disappointed
The worst screen protector! I had it installed at the Apple Store. Within a few weeks it had a weird bubble on the screen. Unfortunately, Apple couldn’t replace it and I was told I had to contact Belkin. Not even worth the trouble and headache. Going to have it replaced but not by Belkin.

Help with putting one on.
It’s so nice. It’s soft to the touch, sensitive and keeps from getting smudged and dirty. Love it. Best one I’ve ever owned. Went on with no bubbles nor lint. I recommend installing it on your phone right out of the box in a bathroom with warm running water to keep the dust off. Start water remove protective factory lens protection and put the Belkin on, press all bubbles out with credit card, turn water off and continue smoothing on the Belkin.

Worst Screen Protector EVER
I got my iPhone 17 Pro on release day. I put one on it that day and it cracked over the weekend from being tapped up against the corner of my laptop, NOT EVEN DROPPED. Apple ended up sending me a new one and this time the applicator did not align the screen protector correctly. Do NOT waste your money.

Terrible warranty claim process
Terrible warranty claim experience. My screen protector started bubbling up randomly and I completed the form online and also provided evidence (photos and invoice). Heard nothing back for well over a week and followed up only to be told they had sent communications to an incorrect email (unsure how this can be when the case number was sent to the correct email address). I was further affirmed that someone will contact me within 24 hours.. this did not happen as well.. very poor customer service.

Warranty??
Seems like I am not the only one. Protector is chipped along the corners. Even had chips embed into my finger. Had the screen installed at the Apple Store. Tried to have the glass replaced through the warranty process but was denied cause they consider the protector chipping as part of wear and tear. It less than 2 months old.

At 40 bucks a pop I would never buy this but apple said it had a limited lifetime warranty they even put it on for me not even 2 hours on the phone and it’s cracking i never even dropped it everyday it cracks more and more the “limited” lifetime warranty means they don’t replace cracked screens just normal wear and tear who knows what that even means seems pretty normal for this thing to crack! Complete rip off I want my money back! Better off buying 25 screen protectors for 35 bucks online I bet they last longer then this 1 for 40 does don’t buy this junk!

I purchased my screen protector in Apple Store itself. Belkin is my favorite brand and the Apple Reps apply it onto your phone the best. They have have this really cool machine they place your phone inside of them take there time cleaning your phone for perfection. It come out so crispy clear!

Some user may be lucky if their screen is flatter.
Since iPhone X all the way to iPhone 16 pro max, I have always been using Belkin Ultra series protector.
Bought this from and installed from Apple Store. I’ve also bought a retail pack online and installed it on my partner’s phone. However, both corner cracked within a week with no physical impact.
What I’ve noticed with the latest few generation of belkin ultra series is that the protector is getting thinner and thinner. And this simply means that both the glass and silicon layer are thinner. And the iPhone 16 pro series screen may not be completely flat, meaning the reduced thickness of silicon layer can no longer compensate this tolerance, so the uneven surface from the screen will be adding stress to the glass it self which is also thinner.
The increased hardness does not help in this matter too, the higher the hardness rating usually means more brittle it is.
Therefore, the protector cracked eventually from even the slight pressure or force by placing the phone in your pocket.
In honest opinion, reducing thickness is good but engineers needs to consider about the product’s reliability / sustainability / application purpose rather than just a spec that looks good.
To be fair, in my own opinion, Apple’s control in tolerance may also plays a part in this but engineering from Belkin also need to consider about this too. And most importantly the silicon layer is crucial for absorbing the impact to save your screen, it is not ideal to reducing the thickness to this extend, as this means both the protector and the screen on the phone both requires tighter tolerance control.
I’ve installed a Spigen protector and both phone has no problem, but there’s a spot on the edge where Belkin protector cracked tends to lift up and has bubble. And based on this as well as the reviews online, it seems screen flatness is the actual issue.
This is just my own thought, opinion and experience. Without actual technical data from Belkin and Apple, it’s impossible to be certain what went wrong, and my thought about silicon layer and glass thickness may also not be fair considering the improvement / innovation in technology.

Leaves bubbles
I bought this screen protector twice through the Apple Store app for my iPhone 16e, and both times it left bubbles I cannot remove even following the instructions. Most likely there’s a cheaper shield cheaper than this one that does not leave bubbles in between the phone screen and the shield, can’t remove them.

On my 3rd one and no lie these things break at the tinniest drop. My phone fell off my lap to the side of my driver side seat (5in drop or less) and now i have a crack on the left side with a spiderweb running across the screen. I have seen people who pay way less on a screen protector get better protection and longevity than what these protectors offer. Stay clear!

The only reason I bought such an expensive screen protector was because I was told this had a lifetime warranty and could be replaced if it cracked only to find out it’s a manufacturing warranty and does not cover wear and tear.
Not only that but it cracked within 2 days.

Good screen protector
I took some extra time and care when installing the screen protector with my iPhone 15 pro. No bubbles formed and the glass laid down nicely. A couple months ago, the bottom of the screen protector started to chip away, but after 2 years with the glass applied, I wasn't mad at all. It lasted longer than I had expected. I bought another screen protector to place on my iPhone 17 pro.

Very disappointed
I bought an iPhone 16 Pro from an Apple Store and bought a Belkin UltraGlass 2 SPS iPhone 16 Pro screen protector which was professionally fitted. I was told that the screen came with a warranty and duly registered the product with Belkin and told by the store that if it cracked I could get a replacement glass from Belkin which I could come in and have professionally fitted by Apple. What you would expect given the relative price. Within a week there was a small crack in the glass which deteriorated over time. I wrote to Belkin and was told by the customer service that this warranty was only if the screen was cracked ‘before’ fitting and the damage was "wear & tear". Never buying their product again. Overpriced with no additional value or service.

Vague and incomplete installation instructions
The installation instructions are at best vague and incomplete. I have purchased three Belkin UltraGlass 2 Screen Protectors for my Apple iPhone Pro Max from Apple. All three had tiny dust bubbles in them after installation. On the first one, I assumed it was me. On the second one I realized the installation instructions were lacking but thought I had figured them out. When the third also had dust bubbles, I realized that it is not possible to install this screen protector without dust bubbles. This product is garbage, I wasted a lot of money on it, do not purchase.

It protects the screen. Hasn’t cracked yet. That’s where the pros end. I don’t know if I got a defective product or something, but the anti-fingerprint coating is practically nonexistent. Fingerprints show up SO EASILY. It’s very annoying and looks disgusting. Also, the glass is not perfectly shaped. The right side goes over the bezel, and so does the bottom. It was installed with the installation kit. Easy to install. No bubbles. Also, white edges. Not invisible at all. No curve to the edges either. It’s horrible without a case. Half the time it physically stops you from swiping up or to the sides (without a case). Overall pretty disappointed with this screen protector. Especially for $40. Now this one isn’t sponsored or anything, and I’m not getting paid to say this, but get a FLOLAB screen protector. Same price range, but a lot more features. Names are really confusing but they are different. As soon as this protector breaks, I’m getting a FLOLAB. 3D edges that actually curve all the way, good anti-fingerprint coating, anti-reflective glass that doesn’t affect colors or screen quality, anti-rainbow effect and you can use them with polarized glasses without seeing green and purple. And the best part: Lifetime warranty. If it scratches, cracks, or breaks, they will replace it FOR FREE. Should have got a FLOLAB screen protector instead of the Belkin.

Response to Jean — Thank you for your garbage copied and pasted response that does nothing to address the review itself. As I’ve stated in emails to representatives who are wasting my time and energy, I will now repeat it publicly. If you are insinuating that a device that suffered no notable damage can spontaneously obliterate and that is categorized as “normal wear and tear” then you are admitting that the product is so poorly designed, that there is the possibility it will not survive a full 24 hours of normal use. Do better. Inform Apple of your horrible warranty so others will not be misled like I, and many others on this review chain have been.
The product broke after 20 hours of use. I’m genuinely uncertain what caused the protector to break, but it chipped in a corner and spiderwebbed across the entire screen. My best guess is when I put it down on my wooden night stand face down, that maybe it hit at just the wrong angle? Genuinely not a clue, but that’s all that makes sense. The warranty for Belkin is not what I was told it covered at the Apple Store. The warranty, the way it’s worded, covers nothing. You’d be better off buying a cheap set online or their main competitor Z___. I’ve exclusively used Z products because of their amazing warranty, but I just had the screen replaced on my iPhone at the Apple Store and was feeling impatient. I just purchased what they had available at the store and was assured that the warranty was as comprehensive as Z’s. Absolutely not the case. And while I’m sure the Apple rep didn’t intentionally lie, I’m still out $40 and have a broken screen protector.

Horrible Experience.
I bought it at the Apple store in Orlando at Millenia Mall.
I was informed that it would not break and that there would be a warranty and replacement if it broke. I informed them that I lived in Brazil and they confirmed that it would work.
I paid a lot for the film. I arrived in Brazil and it broke.
Now I was informed by Belkin customer service that there is no replacement for my country.
Horrible Experience.
When selling, they promise everything. When it comes to complying, they are like birds flying higher and higher and not listening to us.

I got the Belkin screen protector when I bought my iPhone 16 just a few months ago. And within 2 months it bubbled and broke. So I did the warranty and got another one. However it’s now doing the exact same thing. Bubbling around every edge. THIS PRODUCT IS NOT WORTH THE MONEY AND IS IF POOR QUALITY.

Oh Dear! A follow up to my previous review. In fact, Belkin did reach out to me via email, asked for my phone number, email address, Apple Store where I bought this product, receipt, date of purchase, packaging. Yeah, that was sort of my complaint (other than the product failing within 2 months), simply replace the product…the product failed. Apple sold this product and failed to take accountability. Belkin didn’t do the simple thing…stand by their product. Time to move on.
So no, I would not buy this product or any Belkin product moving forward. Nor, would I recommend this product or company.

For the price, this could be at least durable enough for wear and tear. However mine chipped after 2 months. That 'famed' belkin Warranty not cover this. Waste of money. Better potential buyer to buy other ion exchange glass protector from competitor that is half the price.

I bought this ultra screen protector for life time warranty, I did every steps as they asked and my screen was broken into pieces and they denied my replacement saying it’s not cover for wear and tear. Feel like I got scammed.

Awful product, cracked within a week.
I just got this screen protector a week ago (Oct 13), and it cracked when it fell 2 feet. It fell off my bed onto CARPETED FLOOR, and it cracked. In addition, scratches had already appeared the day after it was put on (in the Apple store). Many reviews have had the same thing happen, so save your money and buy a cheaper protector that doesn't break within seven days.

DO NOT BUY!!! I bought this screen protector while on a trip in Rome and had it professionally installed for the cost of 35 euros or about $37. It lasted 1 day! Phone was in my pocket and I bumped into the corner of a table and the screen protector broke! I contacted the "Warranty" and they did not honor because I did not have the store receipt (I sent them my credit card receipt, photo of the packaging, and picture of the screen protector on the phone). They asked me to go back to Rome just to get the original store receipt. I really don’t recommend this screen protector or brand. You can get much better value elsewhere.

Worst Screen Protector Ever
I ordered this screen protector directly from Apple's website, and since it was the only one they offered there for the 16 Pro Max at the time I thought it would be great, but boy was I wrong.
First off, this is the worst installation I've ever had to do on a phone. They have you set your phone face down in this little cardboard case thing and then pull down on this plastic, but that also pulls the phone down too and it makes it really difficult to actually install it correctly.
Now, I did follow the instructions exactly, and even with doing that, not only did the screen protector have a ridge of air all the way down the side of the phone, but the entire screen protector didn't even install straight, it installed at an angle!
That's just insane to me, it literally comes with an installation tool and even that tool can't install it correctly, absolutely terrible.
The angle and bubbles along the one side started to bother me so much, I gently pried it up and tried to reposition it, and I got it better angled, but then the bubbles now are going all the way around the entire edge of the phone on all sides!
Seriously, this thing is a total bust. They must have just copy/pasted this from the 15 pro max and thought it would just work on the 16 pro max but it absolutely does not.
Do not get this screen protector, you will regret it. This is my last time ordering anything "Belkin branded" in the future.

The tray provided to align protector was flimsy and still made it difficult to get precise alignment. After making multiple attempts because each time after installing it looked like a bubble bath and no matter how I rubbed it to remove the bubbles, I couldn’t remove all the bubbles. I finally removed the protector again and placed it in its box where it still is today. Wasted time and money. Will never buy one again.

DON’T PURCHASE FAULTY PRODUCT
I recently purchased 2 of these products from apple’s website and neither fit mine or my girlfriends phone. I followed the instructions and it still did not fit IPhone 17 pro max correctly. Air bubbles all throughout that do not leave. As expensive as product is, it is bad quality and I would suggest looking elsewhere. Not to mention Apple was a nightmare trying to go through refund process (bought on their website so had to go through them).

Useless Warranty and Waste of Money
The Apple Store installed three of these on my family's devices, and sold us on the lifetime warranty. Well, I recently tried to make a warranty claim only to be told that any cracked screen is no longer covered under warranty. The "lifetime" warranty essentially only applies to the installation, which Apple will always do perfectly using the application device, and if they mess it up then they will do it again before you leave the store. Totally useless warranty from Belkin! Save your money!

Warranty with the Bare Minimum of Support
Unfortunately, my warranty experience was less than desirable. After submitting my request on the 16th of October, imagine my surprise that I wouldn't receive follow up until the 28th of October. Almost two weeks after the replacement request. Did things improve from there? Absolutely not!
I received a response indicating that there was an error in my submission and to provide updates and supporting documentation. Makes total sense. But what is disconcerting was that I was provided a 48-hour window in which to respond. It took you all nearly two weeks to respond to me but I had two days in which to respond, otherwise my request would be canceled? Fortunately, I responded within the window.
I received the replacement glass but it was just that. No alignment tray, no cleaning wipe, or microfiber wipe AND no instructions. I assumed that I could figure this all out on my own. Perhaps, visiting the Belkin website or YouTube channel would suffice and things wouldn't escalate. Perhaps, utilizing the QR code regarding the system would take me to instructions. At this point, I was not surprised that a video to install the glass sans tray and other products wasn't on the site. This would be laughable if it weren't such an inconvenience.
What exactly is the point of sending the screen without the supplies to install? I originally didn't want to complain that my screen was fully cracked from one drop within 4 months of the initial installation. I assumed having a warranty would work without a complaint. One drop was all it took. Compound that with my overall experience, Belkin leaves a lot to be desired. This is the way to ensure that I consider other screen protector companies. Please note, I've always been a fan of the charging cables. I had not had an adverse experience with Belkin in the past. However, as with the screen protector, it only takes one time to consider other options.

I have gone through tof these (bought from Apple Store) in less than a month for minor drops (one indirect drop from counter height, one from hand to counter edge- less than a foot). The edges of the glass shattered and small shards of glass got on my finger and belongings. I would have utilized the warranty however it requires a photo… hard to do when the product is on the front of your phone and you live alone/need to remove the glass before the glass shards shed onto my hands. Would not recommend.

When purchasing a iPhone 16 Plus at an Apple Store, the salesperson suggested I also purchase this screen protector. Three days later, I already have a crack in it. Based on these reviews, it appears that the warranty doesn’t cover accidental damage. Isn’t that the point of a screen protector…accidents? My previous screen protector (different brand) lasted for months but had the option of replacing for free when cracked. I assumed a more expensive product recommended at the Apple Store would carry the same policy. I wish I had inquired before purchasing.

Glare is terrible
This does not protect against smudges, and the glare it causes on my iPhone is terrible. It makes me not even want to use my phone with this on. There should be an anti-glare screen protector made for the iPhone 16 pro. Would not suggest this.

Not durable and warranty is a sham
Echoing what others have said ... The warranty is a sham. Apple sold me on this screen protector specifically because it supposedly has a replacement guarantee if the Belkin product cracks. Belkin refuses to honor that warranty. And my first lasted all of one month; the second (which I purchased rather than seeking warranty replacement, since I was traveling at the time and Apple said it could take a couple weeks) lasted 4 months before cracking. The second Apple Store, too, reiterated the warranty; their staff were really surprised that I was paying for the replacement rather than go through Belkin. (And I am very careful with my phone; the screen protector's edges are apparently especially fragile.) I remember Belkin as having great products customer service back in the day, but I would *not* recommend buying now.

Screen protector chips easily
This screen protector chipped in the corner within 24 hours, just from placing phone in cup holder. Immediately filed a warranty claim and still waiting 4 weeks later for resolution. Poor product, poor customer support.

Would not rebuy it and disappointed with it
I had less than a week and it already broke. I dropped it off of the couch arm; where it was resting into a trash can. The edge near the new camera zoom button crashed and shattered the screen. Mine was a 16 pro max. I did notice that when I placed it into my pocket before this it came up in spots towards the top right, that I could push out.

Warranty is a scam
Don’t believe the warranty if your screen protector breaks good luck getting a new one. Filed a claim in November and it’s already January and I have yet to receive a new one.I know what they are going to respond below please contact Belkin support.

I bought this screen protector 2 weeks ago and then one day I pulled it out of my pocket and it cracked across my whole screen. I filled out the warranty and they wanted a proof picture that I ordered it and then I sent in but they haven’t responded back to me in 5 days.

Cracked within a week, more cracks a week later.
I’ve had my new phone for 2 weeks and i already have 3 cracks across the bottom of this screen protector. never had a screen protector break within the first year and a half but here we are. only reason i got this and not the one i usually get is because the apple store had these in stock and i didn’t want to leave without something on my screen. next time ill bring my own.

Don't Believe in the warranty replacement
Screen protector broke within 4 days of having it Nov. 17 2025. Filed claim on the 17th of Nov. almost Christmas and no replacement or even an update. Called can't get through, They claim it has warranty but make you wait so long to replace that you end up buying another one. highly encourage you to buy from a different brand.

Too Slick to Keep Phone Safe
Caveat: this review applies to those of you who do not use a phone case.
I don’t and have never used a case on my iPhones and have had zero issues in the past. When the Apple Store suggested adding this screen protector to a new iPhone 16 I thought it made sense.
Unfortunately, the screen protector is so slick as to be almost frictionless when you place the phone on its face, which I do to protect the camera lenses on the back. The only times my phone has fallen has been when it’s on its front / on this screen protector and a text or call come in. Then, that slightest vibration causes it to slide across whatever table it’s on.
It’s ironic that the only reason my screen is now chipped is because I installed this UltraGlass 2 screen protector. If you use a case you’re probably fine, but I would not recommend this protector if you don’t use a case or your case doesn’t extend beyond the glass front of the phone.

Best Customer Service Ever
Honestly, I was skeptical about their warranty claims. The issue started several months before I contacted Belkin; I decided to wait until I visited the Apple store, where I purchased the screen protector and had it professionally installed. Apple associate assured me that Belkin is a great company and all I needed to do was to call them... they were right!
One phone call and the Belkin CSR was happy to assist and patiently guide me through the process. What a great experience. All is taken care of as promised. I was not a big user of Belkin products - but I am now! Belkin stands behind its products and has one of the best customer service departments I've ever experienced.

Scam not fulfilling warranty
I am extremely shocked/dismayed/disappointed in this company/product/service.This is incredibly bad service and not making good on warranty claim.
3/26/24 I emailed Belkin Cares Team that my screen protector had cracked
3/27/24 They email back requesting information on the purchase
3/27/24 I provide all information requested (purchase receipt, photos, product, purchase date etc)
3/27/24 Belkin confirms receipt and requests I fill out a form with all the information I already provided by email
3/27/24 I do this
3/27/24 I am given a case number
3/29/24 I am sent an email from belkin saying they're closing my case because they could not contact me.
3/29/24 I received no email/voicemail/call about my claim. This makes no sense. I provided all the information they requested not once but twice and now they are just closing my request.
I am extremely shocked/dismayed/disappointed in this company/product/service.This is incredibly bad service and not making good on warranty claim. I have gone now 4 days without resolution despite having provided all necessary claim dates on day 1.

Garbage - Apple should NOT carry this screen cover
The edges are not sticking, poor fit, not a quality screen cover at all. This will not protect your device, and looks like garbage in the process.

Bubble, Bubbles, Everywhere
I don’t enjoy throwing money away, but that’s exactly what I did when I purchased the Belkin UltraGlass 2 Screen Protector for iPhone 16 Pro Max. I followed the instructions to the T, but bubbles were still present on the screen. No matter how much I tried removing the bubbles, it still wouldn’t let me remove them. And after trying to lift the screen protector and re-align it to get the bubbles out, it picked up lint and was unusable.

Update, Bubbles under the glass
I figured out how to get rid of those bubbles. But I can’t figure out how to update my review.
I carefully pried up the edge nearest the bubbles with a fingernail, just enough that a larger bubble started to form extending to the edge. That larger bubble swallowed up the smaller bubbles and was easy to squeeze right out.

Decent Product, Horrific Customer Service. Warranty is a SCAM. Purchased new from Apple store, said there is a lifetime warranty if I register. Register it first day, screen protector breaks in my pocket I didn't even drop it. Filed a claim, Belkin didn't get back to me, got a new screen protector from Apple, they finally get back and want pictures of the cracked screen protector? Such a joke, companies like this are the worst.

Screen Protektor was installed in the apple shop as should be. After 2 months it showed some cracked without reason, not after a fall or anything.
Requested a replacement by belkin but so far no answer.
Also feel the sensitivity of the touch is not as great with it on

Registration Issues
Very difficult to register the product as the code on the envelope does not bring up the iPhone 16 screen protector. I needed to o on line to register which also was nit without issues. Also, Belkin needs to increase the size of the registration codes and serial numbers.
