The belkin protector is pretty decent. What I like is their replacement policy. Once you register your purchase and your screen protector breaks… they will send you a replacement.

It keeps my screen clear and sharp when I look at it straight on, but from the side the display is dark and protected. It gives great privacy without making the screen look dim or distorted. The glass feels smooth and responsive, and Face ID and touch sensitivity still work perfectly. Installation was easy and it fits the iPhone 17 Pro Max very well with clean edges. The glass is very durable and may even be stronger than regular screen protectors. However, I encountered plenty of issues while I was using it; for example, it pretty much completely covered my front facing camera, which made it difficult for my phone to recognize my face for FaceID. That was kind of a big deal for me. Also, once, my phone was almost dead, and the screen went completely black. It’s the only time that’s ever happened, and I ended up having to remove the screen protector to get the screen to work properly again. It’s a good product for what it’s meant for, but it comes with a whole bunch of unwanted side effects, and I wouldn’t be able to recommend it to just casual phone users like myself.

So I was unsure how I wanted to do this as I already had a screen protector that took time and had to do twice as the first one shattered after it fell on the ground. Mind you it was an inexpensive one that came with three protectors. I appreciate this one is Belkin as it’s a reputable electronics brand. I hate putting these things on, but lately companies have discovered ways to make application so much easier. It came with most of what you need, I prefer a hard card to push air bubbles out but I made do. It had the instructions on the packaging and gave you a QR code to see the process online. it was relatively simple and although I do have some air bubbles still. I like that it’s a privacy screen and it’s made with 60% recycled glass. After application I definitely wanted to test the privacy screen factor and did thanks to my IPad as seen in photo. I knew they existed and am glad I get to try it out, would love to try the blue light one as well. Might have to invest in one for my mom so she doesn’t have to worry about nosy individuals (I.e. myself..lol). What I wish was that in the event that you don’t apply correctly the first time or the first screen arrives broken you only get one screen to work with. But I’m not surprised as it’s made major company and they want you to buy again it that’s the case. Like many other consumers I’ve owned many belkin products so here’s hoping this one lasts the test of time, preferably till it’s time for an upgrade in a couple years. Rated 5 out of 5 by from Still a screen protector. Ok so this stayed on my phone for all of 5 minutes. Too many lints and the applicator doesn’t get out enough of the air bubbles. However the applicator doesn’t make it easier to apply than a traditional screen protector. I did follow all the instructions but I could see them being slightly hard to understand since it’s just pictures. Overall I’ll try applying it again once I am able to remove the billion dust particles that somehow got trapped and drove me crazy. It’s not too thick which I like, but as a hater of screen protectors this still felt like something was on my screen and I don’t like that.

It has small grids which makes the screen black when seen from side angle which provides privacy. This makes the screen slightly dark in visibility. It is scratch resistant and easy to install. There is one issue that it makes touch screen little less effective and I have to press a button multiple times to type certain words.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Absolutely Worthless Junk! I purchased this screen protector when I bought my iPhone 16Pro at the Apple Store last December. The phone was protected by my original iPhone case, simply fell out of my pocket and dropped less than six inches. When I turned it over, I was shocked that it even had this damage. This was not "simple wear and tear" which is why my warranty claim from Belkin was denied. I have gone back and forth several times with Belkin Customer Support without any success. I find it interesting that there are many other one star reviews for the exact same type of damage that my phone experienced and I assure you this is not "normal wear and tear." This is a defective product and Belkin knows it since so many others are having the same issue. Belkin states they have a Limited Lifetime Warranty when in fact they actively look for ways to deny claims for their product which is clearly faulty. I have owned many iPhones over the years and all have been protected with Belkin glass protectors purchased and installed at the Apple Store. Never have I had a claim denied and never has it been for a ridiculous reason as this. I encourage the Apple Stores to stop selling this defective product and offer something that actually protects our expensive phones. I would give this zero stars if I could!

My phone dropped first week of getting phone with protector and it fell from a very short distance and cracked. I was told by Verizon that I can have my screen protector replaced up to one time for free. So I reached out to this company and they say they can’t do anything for me because it’s not a defect in product. Be careful people because unless you seriously read the fine print you will be screwed.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Arrived late, no clear delivery date, not fitting While perfectly aligned with their tool, light comes from sides of the screen and corners are lifting to have bubble gaps for some reason… without dust on the screen, not sure what is causing protector from applied and stick but rather causing it to lift up. If I press really hard on each corner, bubble gap disappears, but reappears slowly after few mins. Wanted to give a second try if they provide additional screen protector, but it only comes with one screen protector…

Apple Store told me I had to use the warranty and they want you to wait 6 weeks for a replacement!!! Apple Store doesn't help nor does Belkin. Crappy company. Buy something else. They are thieves.

The one I originally purchased has privacy 4 ways not just from the left or right side like this one has. It just got installed at Verizon now. This is the replacement I was sent by belkin through warranty. I even typed 4 way privacy in the email for warranty. The original screen protector I purchased was $65. This is not the same product. I like that it is privacy so I don't have to worry about someone looking at my phone. I really like the ease of it, and it doesn't affect my scrolling. So far, it has been pretty protective. Also, I throw my phone in my purse, and it bounces around in there. I haven't had any issues with the screen protector getting scratched.

This is my own fault because I chose the wrong size— but the privacy and durability is there and I could tell immediately after taking it out of the box. I’m going to give it to my husband because he’s going to be upgrading his phone soon. I’m kicking myself because this would’ve been really nice!! The instructions were clear and a wipe and fuzz remover was included!

I understand it’s purpose is to crack rather than the glass of my phone, I just feel that it would have held up a little bit better given the fact that it also has a case around my phone.

Privacy only works if the screen is tilted to the side while in portrait mode, not even in landscape mode.There is even a short video on the product page showing the screen in landscape with a tilt to show privacy. anyone sitting behind me easily see everything on my screen. I am very disappointed with this product. I dont understand why this product is highly rated for privacy screen when it only provides 30% privacy. Only at a 45 degree tilt can the privacy screen actually shield any information. Anything between straight on view and up to 45 degrees is very visible.

I understand it may protect the screen, but it cracked very easily and now looks bad. I’m not very happy with the quality.

After reviewing my request they found that my screen protector does not meet eligibility requirements for warranty replacement. Belkin's Screen Protector warranty covers Defects in Materials and Workmanship and they considered it normal wear and tear.
