Does NOT work on Windows laptops
This product's physical box, and the page on Belkin web site says "...compatible with USB-C PC/Mac, USB-C laptops/MacBooks, USB-C tablets, USB-C smartphones, and with Mac, Windows, Chrome, Linux operating systems." This does NOT work on my LG Gram running W11. And Belkin support says the text on both is wrong, that it only works on a few devices, the ones listed in the "tested on" list below the incorrect statement. They said that really means "only works on," and that the packaging and website both are in error/need updating. So, back to the store I go after owning this useless thing for just 30 minutes!

After purchasing the listed item, INC019 & returning home, I plugged the adapter in & it did not work, I have spoken to several Belkin employees and had a case number assigned, 17097949, but I have not been told what address to send it to for the warranty. I have provided photo of the receipt as well as photos of the item.

A Great Option to Ensure Connectivity
This adapter is great; if you're traveling, or otherwise in a place with slow, unpredictable, or intermittent wifi, it's awesome to be able to convert a device without an ethernet port to be able to access a wired source. And the added charging port ensures that you will be able to keep using the usb port taken up by the adapter itself. Definitely something everyone should have in their desk or travel bag just in case.

Very useful when WiFi isn’t good
This usb-c to Ethernet combination adapter a recharger is perfect for my needs. My Apple air doesn’t have an Ethernet port and relies on WiFi usually. When WiFi is really bad this gives me the flexibility to use a c port to plug it in to Ethernet. It says it can transfer up to 1000 mbps but mine is bogged down to 300 and it works well enough. You can use this to recharge as well - off the same Ethernet plug. Pretty handy.

It works exactly as advertised. Excellent throughput.
The one caveat is that the plastic covering of the short wire connecting to the two ends of the adapter, breaks down if gets wiggled repeatedly, leaving just the inside insulation covering the actual wire. This does not affect the performance of it, however.

I’ve tested this out in my Pixel 8 and MBP. Both saw higher speeds for downloads and uploads. Photos to show it. Easy to use. Ethernet port lights up internally when active. Small package, nice when you need the higher speeds and don’t have a port. Overall, recommend picking one up if you’re in the need for it.

I received the USB-C + charger adapter from Influenster for my honest review and it is such a simple hack for me. I’m always carrying multiple chargers around and this allows me to charge my iPad and use it at the same time. It’s pretty bulky but I don’t mind. I did not receive the one that allows you to hook up to the Ethernet but regardless, it’s a pretty good tool to have!! For the techy people, you could probably hook up a second monitor if it uses a C plug/adapter . Cool little hack. Sleek design and easy to put away.

I received a Belkin USB-C to Ethernet + Charge Adapter 100W complimentary from Belkin and Influenster in exchange for my honest review. The Belkin USB-C to Ethernet + Charge Adapter 100W has been a huge game changer when it comes to my Teams meetings/video calls. In the past, I was missing out on critical information because of the internet lag, and calls were being dropping due to my internet's speed. With the Belkin USB-C to Ethernet + Charge Adapter 100W plug-and-play adapter, I no longer have a lag or have to worry with those calls dropping off. The adapter keeps my computer charged and my connection completely sound while I'm hardwired. So far, I'm pleased that the adapter hasn't overheated and has stayed cool to touch. The adapter is both small and portable, and works with most USB-C compatible devices. The Belkin USB-C to Ethernet + Charge Adapter 100W provides an Ethernet port, charger, and a nice boost of internet speed, all in one device, at great price. In my opinion, you can't go wrong!

This adapter works like a charm! I was able to plug in both an Ethernet and charging cable without any issues. My internet speed was much faster (download speed improved by 140 mbps, and upload speed improved by 200 mbps) when using the Ethernet cord, which is really nice considering that my MacBook doesn’t have an Ethernet port. I’m excited to be able to have fast internet and charge my Mac at the same time!!

using this on an old cell phone to stream music in my warehouse, the wifi kept making the siriusXM app run horrible. this fixed the issue and i am able to still quick charge if plugged into a quick charging adapter.

Great If You Need Ethernet Connection
Compact and provides quick speeds vs WiFi, especially if you have wifi connectivity issues. Love how portable it is and doesn’t take up too much room/space and also Mac compatible. No issues with my Mac laptop and I don’t lose my port charger since I have an Airbook. Perfect addition since I don’t have the Ethernet port in case of any WiFi issues.

Poorly engineered and overpriced
This is a poorly desiged and engineered product and is grossly overpriced. It frequently disconnects from my iPad, i.e. not only is the usb-c connection poor, also the ethernet connection is substandard. I bought a Chinese replacement at a fraction of the cost that connects perfectly on all parts and is extremely fast relative to the dysfynctional Belkin product.
