The plugs have smooth plastic at the end but then have tapered rubber sheaths on the cords which make it very easy to grip the cord for plugging it in and unplugging it.

The Cable itself is nice and durable yet not stiff to the point where it is difficult to work with. I would definitely purchase more of these cables when I need replacements.

I've run into issues with some charging cables having bulky ends that won't fit into some phone cases because the cable end has extraneous bulky plastic that blocks the port, but I'm happy to say this cable doesn't have too much of that. The braided cable is very sturdy, and it's clearly build to last, with rubber support at both ends.

It does it all data transfer, fast charging, and regular charging. It's also long enough to allow you to connect to a portable charger in your back pocket or backpack without feeling like your straining to get the phone where you want it.

The exterior of the cable is slim and incredibly tough! I honestly wish ALL cables were of this quality. In all of my years of computing I have never come across a better made cable, with the exception of high quality aircraft cables for the military. It is a gem!!

The design of the strain reliefs is very effective at minimizing the effects of bending the ends of the cable, and makes it easy to insert into device ports. The only issue I have found is the size of the USB-C connector - it may be too wide for some phone and tablet cases.
