Rated 5 out of 5 by from Strong magnet and serves multiple purposes This phone mount for iPhone is perfect for mounting on the laptop to watch something while working or to mount on the back of the car seat to watch something or for facetime. The magnet is super strong, I don't have to worry about my phone slipping away when I am using this mount. It is super easy to attach and detach which is very good for people who do not want to carry it all the time. The kickstand and ring grip are super useful, to browse or watch something on the phone while cooking, or eating. This item is made of great quality. It will last forever and the best part is it doesn't have to attach to a phone and be thrown away when we change the phone. The only cons that I can think of are - It does not support wireless charging and it's a little bulky to carry.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great if you only use your phone for work So with this, it’s great, easy to attach and use, but if you use your phone besides strictly work or video chatting, it’s kinda rough always attaching and reattaching your phone even with the MagSafe. The MagSafe is strong and didn’t have any issues with it losing grip on my iPhone 13 max, but I just off and on use my phone too much, that doesn’t require the computer.

The kick stand feature with the loop is convenient for when you want to watch videos, and the added mount for the laptop also provides an added bonus for functionality. I highly recommend this Belkin mount.

The Continuity Camera features of the latest version of macOS for FaceTime and capturing content is flawless. The magnetic attachment is easy to use either vertically or horizontally. I have started using this as a ring grip and it is very comfortable. I also use it as a stand to stream and watch videos. When not connected to your Mac laptop, the magnetic mount also doubles as a ring grip and kickstand for viewing videos or enjoying other content on your iPhone. I love how I can take it anywhere and it is easy to use! I have already recommended it to colleagues as I am a teacher and we often have video conferences.

The device is solid, fits nicely, holds phone very well and right where it should be. Device allows to turn the phone landscape or portrait. It should be great for virtual conferences at work, personal communication and video applications. I’m very pleased with this device and will absolutely recommend!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great idea I really like the idea of this Belkin - MagSafe iPhone Mount with MagSafe for Mac Notebooks, my son who occasionally works from home usually props his phone up against something if he has a meeting. He does use his MacBook Air at work also so it is in a case. His iPhone 13 is also in a case. We put the Belkin - MagSafe iPhone Mount with MagSafe for Mac Notebooks on his MacBook Air with his case, it’s was ok, but his phone with his case on didn’t hold onto the magnet. Without his case it did hold his phone, it sat ontop but a little unsturdy. Without the case on his MacBook Air and without the case on his phone this Belkin - MagSafe iPhone Mount with MagSafe for Mac Notebooks does work very well. As a stand alone clip on the table the phone with out the case does work well also

The ring can be used to hold the phone up and operate with one hand for selfies or texting. There is a separate clip to attached the phone to my macbook so I can use the phone camera as a webcam. Everything other than the ring is covered in a soft rubber so it doesn't damage the laptop when it's clipped on. Overall this is a great product and I would recommend it to friends and family.

Finally got my hands on the mount today and it isn't living up to it. The MagSafe part is pretty secure, but the mount to the top of the screen isn't very tight. Since this is built specifically for Apple iPhone and Macbook's I would've expected a tighter integration. If you don't already have a high definition webcam it's worth it, but it doesn't match the functionality of my webcam yet. However, I could see myself using this as a plan B while I'm traveling and away from my desk.

This mount helps hold my phone at eye level on my MacBook during these meetings and while streaming tv shows. The only thing I’m not a fan of is that I have to remove my phone case in order for the magnet to safely hold my phone. Not a dealbreaker. Highly recommend for those work from home meetings!

I got this MagSafe iPhone Mount because I wanted to have a ring mount on the back of my phone, but didn't want to put anything on my phone that needed to use a sticky, glue attachment. This MagSafe mount attaches without needing a glue or sticky tab and comes off easily when I need it to. What I didn't know is that there is also a small tab near the ring that allows you to attach your phone to the top of your iPad or MacBook so that you can use the camera for video calls. It's really great. I love this mount so much.

I have been recently creating some "get ready with me" videos for Tik Tok and I always had trouble making my phone stand where I wanted it to on my computer. I don't have any high tech equipment (as I just do this for fun), but I do have a clip on ring light. When I saw this, I knew I had to have it. It safely clips onto my Macbook and holds my phone steady while I make and create the content I enjoy. There is just one simple piece that clips it on and it holds far better than expected. I do wish that it would've been silver, so it would've matched my Macbook a little better, for aesthetic purposes, but overall that's my only complaint. I give this a 10/10 and look forward to using it for all my Tik Tokking needs.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Removeable mount This rubber coated mount has a nice feel and creates a strong magnetic hold to the bare back of an iPhone 12. The stand/fingerhold is metal and large enough to fit my fingers. One side of the mount has a pull out for a clip that allows you to sit the phone on a MacBook screen. The magnetic action on the iPhone 12 is great but a strong bump can knock the phone off. The mount needs to be attached to the back glass and you need to avoid the use of a protective case. The mount easily twists so you can hold the camera vertically or horizontally. You can use your phone as a webcam. I initially thought it was for facetime but my nephew showed me it works with many other applications. You can use the phones camera and microphone but there was not a clear advantage to use the mic. Landscape orientation makes a great layout for recording. You can connect to the phone wirelessly but we used a wired connection to keep it charged as we played with the features. There are a lot of settings on the computer that you can customize with the phone. Basically, this mount holds the phone securely in a good location and allows you to make good use of it as a web cam. When your not using the laptop, the mount still lets you maintain control of the phone or prop it up when used as a mini stand. If you want a clean pocket look, you can slide the mound off quickly and put it back on when needed. The mount really needs to be used on the newer phones the magnetic attraction on an iPhone X barely holds the weight of the phone. I also could not get the wireless charging to work with the mount on the back of the phone.

This is actually great for many reasons.. 1) the fact that it’s magnetic means I can use it when I need it and don’t have to have it on my phone all the time…2) the hook fits perfectly on my MacBook. 3. There is also a finger spot for when you want to hold it 4 the spot wheew you put your finger doubles as a stand! This is a great multifunction MagSafe tool! Love it

Instructions are clear and easy. You off set phone to left for camera to be centered. Video quality is great, especially compared to older mac models. used for school videos to avoid lag and get better video quality for speeches. Works better for my needs. Not sure I’d like to use for all video calls, but definitely for ones where you need clear video and audio and trust your phones connection better than wifi.

Useful if you either don't have an onboard camera or possibly just want an additional camera for a very slight angle change.

This mount fits perfectly on my phone and mounts my phone when I just need it prompt up when I’m reading my emails. This is great to use when I need an extra screen while studying .

I CC have an older model MacBook and I had no issues attaching the device to it. It has been like adding a second screen at my fingertips!

The magnet is pretty strong, though if you have a case on your phone, it doesn’t stay on as well, I would especially recommend taking your case off to use it as a laptop camera mount, that way your phone doesn’t accidentally fall. Overall I’m very pleased with how this works and how many different uses it has.

It works as a webcam, only better because it operates separately from everything else on my laptop screen. The mount can be turned to landscape or portrait mode (If you prefer to not show the areas on your left and right). When I'm not using the mount for meetings, the kickstand on it is great to prop up my phone on my desk. The quality is holding up very well. Definitely a great tool for productivity.

I popped it on my iPhone 13 Pro Max and hooked on the top of my M2 MacBook Air display so that the phone's camera becomes my FaceTime/Zoom webcam. As good as my MacBook's camera is, my iPhone's camera is noticeably much better! With iOS 16 installed, the iPhone camera is easily selectable in prefs for both apps. I also like the metal ring which folds out to become either a prop or a finger ring for added security while holding the phone in my hand. I like that I can leave the mount on the phone and it still slides easily into my pocket.

Not only does it mount an iPhone to a MacBook, it also works as a phone ring for securely holding the phone AND as a stand to prop up the iPhone. Rated 5 out of 5 by from Cute but limited gadget I love the idea behind this product...it's amazing how much better the iPhone camera looks in a video call than the built-in webcam in the bezel. The MagSafe attachment feels rock-solid and I had no worries about my iPhone slipping off the mount while it was perched on my MacBook. My one quibble- The notch you use to hook onto the Mac is very narrow and won't fit a 'normal' external monitor. In my setup, I use a mid-tier 27 inch monitor and have the MacBook off to the side as a rarely used secondary display. I had hoped I could hook my phone onto my main display with this mount, but no such luck. It fits the fit MacBook lid and that appears to be that.

That way I don't have to worry about switching screens. The magnet is super easy to use. For video calls, it's a great way to have your camera a little bit higher, so you can look your best on screen while also being hands free.
