It comes in very handy because we have a lot of things to plug in but only one electric outlet. It has a nice design that it lays flat and out of the way. Its easy to keep in the corner under the desk so all of the plugs are out of sight. So far, it's worked out perfectly.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from lived up to my expectations With so many electronics I have used all at the same time, with four monitors, the pc, speakers, ambient lights, separate laptop, then most of the time I have to charge smaller devices like my Bluetooth speaker, phones, tablets, then charging my watch and other wearables, this outlet is a winner! I can plug them all in most of the time, at the same time. And the power this produces never frustrated me once. Even the length is a game-changer, I do not need to have this just behind my monitor, where my outlet is, I can hide it under my desk to the leftmost side of the table. I am confident that this surge protector will not fry my devices even during the time when we had a power outage then it cam back on.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awesome surge protector strip for electronics I recently got a brand new TV for my living room and wanted to upgrade my old, outdated outlet strip to protect my investment. This Belkin 12-outlet strip with surge protection was just what I needed. It has 6 block spaces for larger plugs which is perfect for my modem and routers which use large AC adapters. The strip itself comes with a right-angle plug which works perfectly to keep the strip against the wall with no awkward gap that thicker cords can have. The only gripe I have with this product is that the hanging holes are upside down! So when you hang the strip, it doesn't look like how it does in the pictures. The coaxial cable protection faces up, not down. Not a huge deal, but I expect my things to look like how they do in pictures. All-in-all still a great product and I feel at ease knowing my electronics are protected.

This though- it fits beautifully on my desk, under my sit to stand riser and I plug in all of my chargers and office electronics. I don't see them, but they all have their place, and fit so nice. Its nice to have such a long cord too- as I can place it on my desk for easy reach vs having to crawl around the floor. Definitely recommend!

I love the way that you can plug things in side-by-side but it’s got a slim enough body that it’s not sticking way up in the air so it makes a nice footprint that you don’t have to worry about it all the time.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great cord! This extension/ surge protector unit I really like. It's got an extra long cord to plug in and then you can run it pretty much anywhere. You need it, bringing a lot of open outlets where you need them. There's a ton of versatility in the way that you plug things in and where you're going to use it. I'm not sure if it helps but, the braided power cable or rather the braided sheathing on the cord really makes it feel durable. You're going to be able to, of course to hang it up via the included screwdrops on the back. So if you need to got to get it out of the way you can or you can just use it. You know set up on the floor like you normally would.

We needed a heavy duty power strip due to the various 110 volt electrical appliances she uses. This unit has handled everything she has thrown at it without any issues at all. Even though she has not yet had a need to use every outlet, I am sure that this unit would pass with flying colors. The only thing that we believe could be enhanced would be the addition of a couple USB ports, even if there were less outlets. Especially in her usage due to being stationary for a long time.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Worth the money for protecting your electronics this is a good value, quality made, surge protector. The best thing about it for me is the number of widely spaced outlets. It seems like most of the things I'm plugging in have some form of "wall wart" that overlap the neighboring outlet(s) when plugged in to any one of my regularly spaced surge protectors. The outlets on this model are spaced far enough apart that I'm able to make use of them all, making this my most useful surge protector. I don't have to worry about blocking any outlets and there's a row of regularly spaced ones running down the middle for any standard plugs. The main wire is thick and the whole thing seems well made. The protection guarantee is also one of the best/biggest I've seen on comparable products. The high joule rating and the fact they're willing to "put their money where their mouth is", so to speak, enhances my peace of mind. As for negatives, I can think of only one possible complaint. As some others have mentioned, the sliding covers on the outlets can be very difficult to operate. That said, I'm still happy to have something that prevents dust and dirt from entering and accumulating inside. I've been using this surge protector without issue for months now in an area with frequent power outages and surges. It's my personal favorite and I would definitely recommend it.

Between all their school items, and their home items, they definitely needed this Belkin 12 outlet surge protector. This is absolutely perfect for their needs! I love the slim design because it is not as bulky and much less noticeable. The 12 outlets are spaced out so that you can easily plug in 12 different items without any space problems at all. It is extremely well made! Some plugs face downward, and some go out sideways. This has an awesome 8 ft long plug which is so convenient! It also has a low profile plug that is flat against the wall instead of sticking straight out. It has 3,940 joules of surge protection. It has safety covers. It also has a cool feature of cord management, which you basically slide all your cords into one section and it keeps them neat and from getting tangled. You can also mount this to your wall or baseboard to keep this in place. It has a 2-year Belkin limited product warranty, and also has a connected equipment warranty, which is very cool. We really like this Belkin power strip surge protector and would highly recommend it. We would definitely buy again for other rooms.

Living in California is not easy these days during the summertime, we tend to get alot of power outages and power surges and I use alot of electronics. When it comes to my PS5 I need to the utmost care for when power outages happen, because in the past I had a power outage and my ps5 would get wiped out. It does its job as needed. It has plenty of outlet options with a variety of spacing choices so you are likely to be able to fit most everything you'd need regardless of the power adapter size. It has a nice flush wall plug. If I could add something to this it would be a USB plug. Unfortunately, there isn't one but that is okay. Overall, it works well. I have (thankfully) not had to truly test the surge protection so I cannot speak towards that.

I have an outlet to the left of my desk, but it's not long enough to reach my monitor cords, nor are there enough outlets for all of my work equipment. I have several pieces of equipment that I use for work, so being able to easily keep them all in one place, and plugged into a single surge protector, is fantastic. The added charger slot is amazing because I always lose my power block. Not needing one is a blessing! The cord is 8 feet, so it easily reaches most outlets. Some of these tend to have extra long cables that are unnecessary and hard to hide.

The computer I plugged into it did not start up. Neither of the indicator lights green nor red go on. Is there an on/off switch I am not seeing? Best Buy does not respond to my return requests. Can I return this to you in exchange for one that works?

It has more outlets and accessory ports than any power strip that I’ve ever had before. I have mine secured to the wall above my storage shelf, and I have a whole tray of my rechargeable’s attached to it. And I still have about 40% of my outlets still available on it. Well worth the money.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Makes me feel safer about my connected devices My uninterrupted power supply died 7 or 8 years ago, and I haven’t been able to replace it. This heavy-duty 12-outlet surge protector makes me feel better. It has a whopping 8-foot heavy gauge cord with a plug that has a low profile and fits snugly into the wall outlet. The indicator light constantly shows me whether it is properly grounded and protected. Each outlet has an easy to use sliding lock cover. The main channel has 6 conventional outlets, which are flanked on each side by 3 widely spaced outlets that can accommodate those gigantic plugs such as those on external hard disk drives. There’s even a cord management accessory on the end. The strip itself has a relatively low profile, and the power switch is in a location that isn’t prone to being accidentally switched off. There are even mounting holes so you can secure it to a wall or to another solid surface. The company even offers a connected equipment warranty. It’s a very easy step to take to protect what’s yours.

We have frequent issues with our power flickering and I’m always concerned that my office equipment will be damaged. We’ve experienced a few of these incidents and the surge protector has done its job. I love that the outlets are well spaced out. This placement allows for all 12 outlets to be used unlike some other surge protectors we’ve had. The low profile main cord is another great feature. It allows for another cord to be plugged info the wall outlet. There is also a cord organizer, which I’ve not had an opportunity to use yet but as more cords are added this feature come in handy. I highly recommend this Belkin product.

I sure hope that we don't get it tested as the last one failed a lightning strike that completely took out my wife's computer.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Where are the Screws? Bad design for wall mount I thought this wall mounted surge protector would come with special screws, but certain models don’t. I thought Belkin designed quality products; I am not satisfied. I let my handyman hang this up, but he only had too small screws. It kept falling off the screws we had. I tried again today. I wanted both holes to be on the stud. The only way was to turn it upside down. The hole slots are reversed; it got bumped and slanted. I decided to duct tape it to the wall. Bad product design, no provided screws, so stop by the hardware store on your way home. I should have sent it back to Belkin. No, I don’t recommend this product.

I like that it has a longer cord most are really short I also like that I can plug in different sizes of plugs, they are usually to close together. It seems to be pretty sturdy also. There’s only a certain amount of charging ports in the walls so having this is definitely handy. All in one place and it helps not having to scramble and flip the house upside down trying to find certain charger because it “gets lost” by one of the kiddos. Everything is organized in one space it’s thin and compact it fits very well in the office space and I love it! Will definitely be getting a few more!

We’ve struggled in the past with other power strips flipping over because they are too lightweight when you add cords to them. Not this one. It will not flip. When you plug a cord in, the cords stay and will not slip out. There is a peace of mind knowing it has the surge protector to keep us and our electronics safe. Well built and already well used.

It made life so much easier, I no longer had to unplug anything else in order to plug in my vacuum cleaner. With the ability to have 12 outlets available instead of the normal few, it made it easier to plug in all of my things. I didn't have to worry about my computer or TV surging when I ran the vacuum.

I like the child safety locks. However, they are hard to move. I also really like that it has a cord organizer on the top. Overall, this is a great extension cord, and I would recommend it.

I was able to downsize two standard surge protectors to this one, thin and well built one. It fit great behind the TV stand and had plenty of room for all my devices. It's perfectly designed to account for all plug types/sizes and the cord organizer is a great little touch. It is a little silly but this thing really did put a smile on my face.

I had immediate need for it as my new PS5 was crashing/tripping the breaker due to some interaction with the room it was in. I plugged the PS5 into the surge protector and it evened it out and fixed the issue.

The multiple outlets are good, but you are limited depending on what you have plugged into. If it has a bigger end, then you can't use all of the outlets. I do like the "stay in place" cord piece. The only reason I gave it 4 stars is because of how big it is. Functionally, I have had zero issues with it.

I also use the bench for charging many of my devices. The Belkin 12 outlet Surge Protector has been working great for me. I no longer have to piggy back multiple power strips to power all of my devices. The Belkin strip has 6 outlets for power blocks. That is impressive. The cord management system on one end, helps keep cords organized. It is easy to put a cord in and take it out. The power cord for the Belkin strip is 8' long! The strip has a very slim design to it. So it does not take up a lot of room on my bench. It does have holes for mounting screws on the back. I will probably mount the outlet to the wall.

I really like the placement of the outlets and how there are 3 different angles. Another thing I like is the cord holder at the bottom; it makes the wires look a lot neater. It has an on/off switch at the top and a long 8 foot cord. This is a great addition to my home office.

This twelve outlet surge protector is a godsend! Two monitors, a laptop dock, a desk lamp, a standing desk, a cell phone charger and a walking pad all plugged in and within arms reach! If you do that, you won’t be able to use the 6 outlet on the middle. But if you uses only a couple of those bulky plugs, you can use more of the outlet. Comes with $300,000 connected equipment warranty. Let’s hope I won’t need it.

I have a lot of cords to plug in, so this is perfect. I like that it’s a surge protector, also. It’s flatter than other power strips. I like that about it. It would fit into smaller spaces, if needed. It is attractive looking. It’s a high quality power strip.
