Not sure if I got a defective version, but I have tried every way and looked up videos, etc. on how to use the key to unlock the device!

Recently I went on a bus trip and attached this to my bag, the sense of security knowing I knew where they are at all times puts a peace of mind to your travels. It is now placed on my keys, and I love it! The air tag is nicely secured in there and will not come out unless you want it to. The carabiner clip itself is very sturdy and durable it feels very heavy duty. My wife suggested to get one to attach to our dog when we take him on walks.

Somehow, his backpack that contained his MacBook and several other vital work items went missing. We still have no idea what happened to the bag. It’s been replaced and now have it equipped with this AirTag holder and an AirTag. It’s very easy to use and extremely durable. I love that it has the wire cable. I’d highly recommend this to others!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fits well on my keys I have been looking for a thin and secure Airtag holder for my key ring and mini wallets as I end up misplacing these items alot. The fact that the Airtag stays so secure in the holder is the reason I like it so much. I feel like the security factor is strong with this holder because of the inability for someone just to pull the Airtag out. I would like to see if there is version with a smaller chain. I also would love seeing this holder become available in the future with code/fingerprint technology instead of using the tool to open. I'm so glad to have found a holder that keeps me from feeling panicked when I misplace items that are important to me.

The Belkin secure holder works well, you need an allen key to open it and close the holder which means someone cant just remove the airtag from your valuables. As you can see from the photo i am protecting my most prized possession with this device.

I thought when I bought similar product from a different company that my AirTag was secured and was protected but boy was I wrong! This product is of excellent quality and really strong! I'm confident it's going to stay where I attach it, for as long as I want it there. I love that it comes with an Allen Key to open it too! I have peace of mind knowing that my AirTag is secured and protected! I highly recommend this product!

It’s very sturdy when attaching to luggage and so far no one has messed with it. Will definitely buy more in the future for additional AirTags.

The Belkin carabiner worked great for keeping the Airtag securely on our backpack while we were taking a road trip this past week. I popped the Airtag into the secure slot, clipped it on my daughter's backpack, and off we went. If she went a little farther ahead on the tail I was able to track her easily. And our family that did not go on the hike knew exactly where we were. It's a great option for keeping your Airtag secure.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Allen screw got stripped The Allen screw got stripped by the Allen wrench (included with the product) and now I can't open the secure holder to get my AirTag out. Terrible quality! Other Belkin AirTag holders (like the keychain one) that I've used before fared much better, so I was very disappointed with this one and I *hugely* regret paying the extra money for it.

I use this holder on my guitar case and it’s small enough that it doesn’t get in the way but provides some piece of mind. It’s not fail proof, anyone with simple hand tools could either cut it off or unscrew the holder but it is very solid and would not come apart by pulling and prying. All in all a great solution to securely attach a tracker to a wide variety of items.

If you put it on a bag (like I did after my gym bag was stolen out of my car) someone will see it and remove it right away.

I do have items in there that are of value and would be hard to replace but then on the flip side there are times after the gym I get busy and toss my bag places that I forget. I love having a high quality AirTag holder that is secure and not easily removed to give me a piece of mind that my bag can be located if necessary. I do suggest hiding AirTag for obvious reasons but did attach on front to show size and such.

It's perfect for hooking to the inside of my purse or other places where I want to place an AirTag. I have my carabiner hooked to my car keys so I am able to track them down each time I lose them in my house.

It even comes with a hex key for extra security! I also must give a nod to the completely recycled packing! I like the white bottom but having a little color or personalization would be great to see in the future. However, it secured my AirTag well and I would recommend it to anyone!

When I’m not traveling and using it on my carry on bag to retrieve my luggage I put it on my key ring because I can never find my keys! It’s so easy to use! I just pop it open insert my air tag and snap it on my key ring. It’s as simple as that. Now when I can’t find my keys I just go to my app and sound the button and my AirTag beeps. I carry my keys everywhere and this holder is so strong and durable, I trust that it won’t come undone. It definitely secured my tag.

I liked it so much I now attach it to my car keys and will get another one for my pocketbook. It’s nice to know where the exact location of things are that I am frequently misplacing!

Every time I travel, I use it on my luggage and it allows me to have the security to follow my bags and track them to their exact location. Because you need an allen wrench to install and remove this make it great for mounting inside luggage. For air travel, this means that TSA (or anyone else for that matter) will be unable to easily remove it. The wrench is included.

Fits my AirTag perfectly, snug with the plastic piece on the back snapped in. I use it as a keychain for my car keys which is perfect. Easy to hook on to my bag/backpack as well. Would recommend if you're looking for something minimal for your airtag.

I’ve used it for a couple of different things including putting it on my dogs collar when we went to a large dog park and clipping it to my seven year old daughter’s belt loop when we went to an amusement park! We can’t for the life of anything get it out of the holder. The holder itself is pretty nice but we stripped the screw trying to get it open and now it’s in there forever.

Belkin's Secure Holder with Carabiner stands out in that it is constructed with solid materials that look like it will last. It cannot be opened without the Alan key, it is very well made and it gives me peace of mind when I have to check my bags.

Definitely more practical to use something that requires tools to open rather than a simple loop that can be pulled right off. It comes with a little tool (like an L wrench) that you have to use to open the case to be able to put in the AirTag and close it. It doesn’t lock up until the wire cable is inserted. I ordered this after losing my keychain with my wallet attached and it’s given me such peace of mind.

Baggage handlers haven't damaged them, and they stay firmly attached. I think the fact that they hang outside the bag is a deterrent to any thief who knows what they are. Plus, with the tags outside the bag instead of inside, the range for other devices to "see" the bag to track it is greater. Very comforting to see that the bags all arrived at the destination before the carousel starts to run!

That being said, if you can find the right location to attach this carabiner, it functions pretty well. It's just not super sleek, and I'm not sure how durable the plastic construction will be.

We used this for our largest suitcase while traveling internationally after a previous experience of losing one at a hotel. You can attach it to anything pretty much with the flexible, thin wired loop. It is only easily removed with an included Allen wrench. The next use is on our stroller at a theme park. Sometimes the strollers get moved by employees and having this holder securely attached to the stroller will make locating it less tedious. So many uses for this holder and so happy with how easy it is to attach and detach when you're ready. If you use AirTags, I would definitely get one of these holders. Belkin is a reliable accessory brand for me!

I've been looking for something a little easier to clip on and off that some of those ring things like you use for keys. This has a nice and simple clip that can clip on my keychain or my dogs collar. The installation was a SNAP literally you put the air tag in the circle and they have this keyed plastic ring that goes in and holds the tag secure. It not only keeps it in the clip, but it also keeps it tight. No rattling around or worried that one good bump will send your tag flying into the neverland. If I had one suggestion for the product, I'd like to see a switch or a lock or something on the actual clip. Something I can flip after I attach it to my BAG, or Dog Collar, Or Keychain, so I know nothing can hit it and knock the clip off. It's very secure and there's a lot of meat on the hook where you would really need to press it hard to get it too pop off. Just a simple improvement, to an already great product.

One, everyone knows that allen wrench bits can strip extremely easy and once that happens its darn near impossible to get it undone. I've been pretty luck to not have any issues right now. However, I think the small screw should be a philips or a flat head. It does do what its meant to do is to protect your AirTag. Overall, I think with some slight improvements this holder could be amazing. It does stay firmly attached to whatever you are trying to track.

The screw is wider at the tail end, making it difficult to pry without the wrench. The loop gets locked in too, so make sure you are sure about what you want to place the AirTag on because it’s a hassle to take off. I wish this came in other colors, and the plastic casing didn’t feel so plasticy. Perhaps a rubberized plastic would give this product the upgrade it needs.

The Belkin holder is made from quality materials: a heavy strong plastic case and metal wire cable lock. It even comes with a small key to get it open so that it won’t accidentally come open on the go. Installation was fairly easy, but the instructions didn’t have any words, just pictures, and were more confusing than they needed to be. So far this tag has held up on my daughters backpack and still looks as new as when I put it there. Well made product that does it’s job.

The trick is finding a good way to attach a round object the size of an oversized coin. It's not the easiest, but the Belkin Secure Holder is a good option for doing so. Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great AirTag Holder Easy to insert the AirTag and it seems very secure. It doesn't rotate or move around. I'm not worried about it falling out. The cable to attach is sturdy and strong. I plan on using this air tag holder on a purse, luggage, backpack or any other item I need to keep an eye on.

I wanted something that would hook into an inner pocket rather than the airtag just floating around loosely inside and this was perfect. It's just big enough to go around the airtag and be able to hook easily onto things. And the material and hinge seem to be of good quality. Exactly what I wanted.

We attached it to my husband's tool bag and like that it is sturdy enough to handle constant movement. The lock is secure as promised and also provides protection for the air tag. The cable is long enough to provide protection for a wide variety of moveable items that you need to track.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Holder with Theft Prevention This has been great to have while I travel, I attach my existing keyring to this and other important things and clip it on the inside pocket of my travel bag to both keep things secure as well as utilize the airtag feature to make sure it gets to me if ever lost/stolen.

I like that the AirTag is literally LOCKED into place & can't be taken out without the "key". I look forward to many trips with this little item stowed away in my luggage. Thanks!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent Holder for my AirTag I really liked the Belkin Secure Holder with Wire Cable for my AirTag because it is well-made, and has an excellent Allen-key locking system with a long braided wire cable, which actually helps me securely attach my Apple AirTag onto my purse without fear of it getting lost or detached. Another great thing about this Belkin Secure holder was that I was able to easily place my Apple AirTag into the center of the holder, and I noticed it has raised edges which keeps my AirTag secured and protected against scratches. This Belkin - Secure Holder with Wire Cable for AirTag is well-made, strong, and easy to use anywhere.

Use this to quickly and easily attach a tag to your backpack, pets collar or even your kids belt loop and always know their location. The spring clip is tough, durable and will hold the tag tightly in place.

The quality is very nice and it’s made out of good materials. It’s very durable I highly recommend.

This is perfect for attaching to my kids' backpacks in a secure way, and even on a keychain. The way this is designed is so versatile and I'll definitely be using it multiple ways.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very secure We have used air tags on bags, in stuffed animals and even on my son. This is a great, secure holder. Once you put the airtag in it, it isnt going anywhere. The only thing that isnt overly conveient is that there is a very small allen wrench that you have to use to open the air tag to get it out or unhook the loop to attach it to something. Makes it more secure but keeping track of the allen wrench or changing where the air tag holder is when out on the go is impossible.

It's little but it fits securely and snug. I will be getting multiple of these and replacing some of my old ones to these more secure ones.

Whenever I need to change out the battery, I cannot find it because I usually just throw it into a pocket. I was very happy to have the Belkin holder with carabiner so that I can hook it on a zipper inside of my bag where I am now able to find it!

The holder is very sturdy and I really like the fact that you need a hex key in order to open the lock to remove the Airtag. I now have my Airtag securely attached inside my backpack and another one secured inside my suitcase whenever I travel. Overall, I am very satisfied with this holder which gets a solid 5 stars from me.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Nice Holder This holder is perfect to secure an AirTag in places I wouldn’t normally put one for fear of losing it. The cable is a good weight and latches securely. Keeping track of the allen wrench needed to open it is the biggest challenge I see.

The AirTag is secured with a separate locking ring that can be undone with a quarter (or other similarly sized item). Snap and go!
