Rated 5 out of 5 by from Looks Great & Charges Faster I assumed that all charge cables were the same. They just connected my device to a power source and nothing more. This cable changed my mind. It looks great with the woven nylon cover. The LED indicator gives life to what I considered a lifeless tool. It's not a huge deal, but it is a nice convenience to be able to see at a distance that my device is fully charged. The surprising thing is that my iPhone actually charged faster. I don't know what makes that happen, as I assumed that a wire is a wire, but this cable definitely makes a difference. I charged my iPhone XS Max starting at 36% with my standard cable and it timed out at about 57 minutes to reach 89%. I then used this cable to check its charge rate over these same values (36% to 89%) and found that it only took 49 minutes or about 14% faster. There may have been a bigger difference had I started from a lower or more discharged point. I really didn't expect that a different cable would change the charge rate. I have a Belkin charger with both USB types so the only difference was the cable used. This cable won't change your life, but if you are going to use a charge cable, why not use one that gives you these advantages.

It has new technology that shows when the device is charging and when it has reached capacity. You just want to be sure you check what devices are compatible with the charging cable.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Durable and Informative Smart LED USB-C to Lightning Cable is well made iPhone charging cable with a braided nylon exterior which improves durability. I like the way it doesn't "grab onto" or "drag over" other objects -- it easily glides over them. A PD-enabled (Power Delivery enabled) charger detects the connected device and its charge requirements and delivers the correct amount of power to charge the device as fast as possible. This ensures fast charging without delivering too much power which can damage the device circuitry. This allows a 30 minute charge delivers about a 50% charge. I'ved used the cable with two different PD-enabled chargers and it worked flawlessly with each charging two different iPhones. The best part of the cable is the LED indicator that displays your iPhone battery charge status. Amber means it's charging while green means charging has completed. The cable comes with a two year warranty.

At first, I thought "okay.. so it lights up... cool, I guess" but little did I know it's actually so much better than expected! When I do use a cable to charge my phone, I normally charge it screen-side down because I don't use a case, that way it lays nice and flat. The light is great because I can keep an eye on the charging progress at a glance without having to pick up the phone. A little thing but has a great result.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Did not know I needed this cable - until I used it Let's do Pros and Cons: PRO - Works (as a cable) beautifully. - Heavy duty cord material does not easily kink. - Plugs fit perfectly - Plug Housings are substantially built. Solid and Strong. They will not permit the cord to easily separate or crack. - They are nicely packaged. CON - Could be another foot longer to more easily route around other cables and items on a desk. - Would LOVE it if the status light would give a "Time Remaining" indication such as 3 Amber blinks sequences to indicate more than 30 minutes to go, 2 blinks for 15 minutes to go, 1 blink for 10 minutes, and then a solid amber for 5 minutes to go before the green DONE & READY light coms on. There are cheaper cables out there but for the quality build and the nifty light (on both sides of the plug mind you) that tells at a glance when your device is ready I feel the price is a fair value, ESPECIALLY if it was a foot longer and had the "time-to-go" amber flash code as described below.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great charging cable - LED not very useful Great packaging and very sturdy charging cord with nylon braiding. I'm not sold on the integrated LED charging indicator. It is yellow while charging and turns to green once 100% charged. The issue is I rarely charge my phone to 100% so not too helpful. Ideal scenario would be red = <50 % charge, yellow = 50-80% charge, green = >80% charge. Would also be great if LED indicator was compatible with AirPods.

The led light tells me when my phone is charging and when it’s done. It’s amber while charging and green when done charging. This assures me the phone is connected properly and I don’t need to wake my phone to check on the charging status. The lightning side is a little thicker than the more basic cables so it may not fit a snug case that has a small cut out for the port. Now I can take advantage of faster usb-c charging.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Sturdy cable This seems to be a sturdy cable that does what I need. The braided cable is durable, and the connectors seem to be sturdy. The lightning end *is* bigger than the default Apple cables, so you might need to watch out if your case has tight clearance on the lightning port. Honestly, the LED seems like a gimmick that I don't care about, but it doesn't make anything worse about the product. It seems to work. I haven't had it long enough to be able to say whether there are any lifespan issues, but I'll come back to this review if it dies sooner than I feel it should.

The great benefit is that it is capable of charging my phone within 30 to 40 minutes to 50% which gives me enough charge (during a meeting or break) for the rest of the day. Up until now, I only used charging cables that came with the devices, but this cable is sturdy and well-made and can keep up with the original charging cable. The LED light is a nice feature, but I don’t really use it, since I am not constantly watching my phone charging and just grab it when I need it. Overall, a great high quality charging cable with nice features. I would recommend this product.

The cloth covered cable is very pleasant and the overall cable doesn’t seem to be prone to kinking. The status light is a little quirky and takes a moment to illuminate, but it’s great to check the charge status at-a-glance. Overall very nice charging cable.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from It's a cable, but it's a good one and it lights up Staring with the basics, this is a 6' long white USB-C to Apple Lightning cable. The cable is sturdy and well-made with solidly reinforced connectors on both ends and a tough braided sleeve. The cute addition here is an LED built in to the lightning end of the cable that lights up to show that your phone is charging and changes color to indicate a full charge. I guess if you want to know if your phone is charged without picking it up this might be useful but personally I didn't feel it added anything significant and wouldn't be a reason to buy this particular cable. I'll end by mentioning that Belkin makes the BEST 3 in 1 Magsafe charger out there. Don't miss out on the BOOST?CHARGE™?PRO 3-in-1 Wireless Charger with MagSafe. It's the charger Apple wish they'd made. I guess they realize that since it's for sale through the Apple store.

The LED on the lightning tip is great when glancing to make sure it didn’t come unplugged. One of those things you never knew you needed until you get it. The braided cord seems strong and a little more quality than the stock Apple cable.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Durable Cord the helps charging the phone quickly. I was given this cord to try out on my new iPhone 12 Pro Max (IP12PM). The first thing I noticed upon unboxing what how good of quality the cord was relative to the cord that came with my IP12PM. Additionally, it appears to be ~ 6 inches longer, which for, is great for when I am laying in my bed on my phone while having it plugged in to charge. I use it with a 3rd party charging block and the combination took from IP12PM from 42% to 83% in 30 minutes.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good idea, but a little inconvenient I have been using this Boost Charge charging cable for a while now, and I am going to past on some of my observations and thought about this device. First it is well built. The cable braiding seems to be a tight weave, therefore should be durable for a long time. The two ends are mode of aluminum which should hold up well up lots of plugging and unplugging. The Boost Charge cable has the built in led for showing you the status of the charge in your device. Of course, yellow is charging and green indicates full charge. My only con to the Boost Charging cable is, you have to unlock you iPhone or iPad and plug in the cable before it will charge your device. This to me is kind of inconvenient. You should just be able to plug in the cable and it starts charging. For the convenience of having the led indicator you have the inconvenience of having to manually unlock your device. Not sure about this, you can decide.

Having the indicator light is great to reduce picking up the phone to see if its done charging and inevitably becoming distracted reading the news or going on other apps.

This has a quality cord that naturally bends so hopefully there is no frayed cables anymore after years of use. Charging of my iPhone is super fast and the LED light notifies me at night that my iPhone is charging with a amber light and let's me know when charging is complete with a green light. The light comes in handy as well because of the small LED light. I know exactly where it is and don't have to search in the dark to find it at my bedside table. Two thumbs up for this quality USB-C Lightning cable from Belkin!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Super quick charging with lighting feature! 3 Reasons why I would purchase Belkin's Boost Charge Smart USB-C Cable w/Lightning Connector. #1: It notifies you when your iPhone is charging (amber light); and when fully charged (green light). Haven't you ever been to a conference or event, with a ton of people and the room only has 2 outlets. You rush to plug-in your device only to find out later that it wasn't fully plugged (faulty outlet?) so your iPhone/devices didn't charge that entire time. With Belkin's Boost Charge the charging light is bright enough that you can see the light on the cable across the room and monitor whether your device is charging (amber); fully charged (green) or not charging at all (not lit). #2: The speed at which your iPhone charges with this cable is super-fast. I used it on my iPhone 12 Pro which was low on power <10%; and by the time I finished my cycling class it was fully charged. Wow!! #3: The quality of this cable made of Duratek is sleek, durable, flexible, and top notch. This cable is far superior to any other cable I've used including Apple's which over time, falls apart. It's a keeper (and you won't need to ever replace it). With all the Apple devices I own, I take my cables everywhere; so performance, durability and reliability is critical. Belkin's Boost Charge Cable is now my "go-to" cables that I keep in my purse, gym bag, business/laptop bag, and it's always attached to my MacBook Pro & MBA since it has a USB-C Cable on one end and lightning on the other (to charge my iPhone, Air Pods Pro, etc.) It's a great quality product for the value.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from great quality cable, the light is great to have. the nylon braided cable is extremely sturdy and quality feeling, it makes me know it will last a long time and not split and fray like regular cables. the use of the light surprised me more than expected, i never realized how often i check my phone to check the charge status, the light is very convenient in that i don't have to tap my phone and look at the screen to see if it's charged or not. one thing to know, this is ONLY a charging cable and does not transmit data. as long as your expectations for that are in line, it's a fantastic usb-c to lightning cable to have.

Phone does make sound when first connected, so assume it charges. Since I believe I was sent a defective cable unknowingly perhaps you would send me another to trial.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Long and Durable. The LED is a unexpected must now Been using this cable about a month maybe longer and it has become my go to. Between charging my phone and syncing contact to my Mac its met and beat my expectations. Now you might be thinking "its a cable so what?". Well it looks good and feels sturdy. The weave is a nice touch. The length is what every cable should be and man that LED that shows it is indeed charging is great. So many times I've plugged my phone in and though it was charging, but for some reason, like a worn cable or contacts it stops at some point or never started at all. Just glancing at that LED lets me know I'm getting power and its working. Overall, really like this cable and in the unlikely event I'll need another to replace it. I'll pick one of these up without hesitation.

The indicator at the Lightning end of the cable is amber when charging and turns green when the phone is fully charged. I did need to unlock the phone before the light would work when I used the cord to connect to my Mac the first time. The light did work without unlocking after that first time. The Lightning end of the cable is a little larger than the original Apple cable, but still fit when using Apple and third party cases. The charging indicator is great when you want to check the charging status from across the room. The light may be a little too bright next to the bed for those sensitive to light when sleeping.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Simple cable with sime extra features This cable works well. The cable is braided with white material and has silver colored ends. It appears to be sturdy. It took me some time to find a USB-C outlet in which to connect this cable. My understanding is that USB-C offers faster charging. Still, you have to have a USB-C outlet and they aren't as easy to find as regular USB outlets. The little light that indicated charging status is what makes this charging cable unique from other lightning cables. This one has lights on both sides of the lightning end of the cable to indicate the charging status of your device. The light will glow amber if the device is charging and green once the device is fully charged. The glow is bright enough to be visible, but didn’t feel obtrusive to me. Charging seemed as fast as I’ve seen with other fast-charge cables. Overall a useful product, especially if you already have a USB-C outlet in which to plug this cable. If you don’t, it might be worth investing in one, as this technology is likely to become more widespread in the future.

The LED shows green, if fully-charged or yellow if it’s still charging. The cable is flexible and seems durable, since it has an aircraft-grade aluminum overmold and double-braided nylon exterior that can withstand the wear and tear of daily use. I love using this cable.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Well made cable - doesn't work well with my case Firstly, this cable feels substantial. The connector ends are metal reinforced with great strain relief. The cable itself is wrapped in a fabric-like mesh that feels high quality. It is a smart cable - so there is a small LED light that shows green when my iphone SE (2) battery is fully charged. Unfortunately, I have a well known branded case for my iphone and the cable only fits into the lightning connector with substantial force. The opening in the case is slightly smaller than the cable's connector. I am able to fully insert the cable but it feels like I am going to break something and I would not recommend using this cable with this popular brand case.

The wire itself is wrapped in a sturdy cloth — giving it a sophisticated old-time look and feeling. The plastic/rubber ends are beautifully molded and contoured for added style and comfort of use. Top notch! I wish all my cables were made to this standard. Highly recommend!

This cord feels like it is built like a tank!

Amber means it’s still charging, Green means it’s done and you have a full charge. It’s very convenient to be able to just glance over and see the charge status without having to pick up the phone and unlock it to view the battery level.

I have used and it has saved me time and energy to be able to charge it so quickly. When all I have to do is look at the plug to see if the light is green it saves time to actually not have to check my phone. The cord is also very sturdy and feels like it will last a long time.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Quality Construction I thought it would be nice to know the charge level of my phone from a distance without having to pickup the phone. This cable does that nicely, although you have to be at the correct angle of view. It would be great if the LED was above the plane of the connector so that it could be seen from any angle. The cable itself is of a very thick, woven material which should last forever. I would prefer a lighter, more flexible cord, similar to Apple OEM. I would conclude that this cable does the job, but could be improved considerably.

The cable is braided in cloth and has a status LED on both sides of the lightning Jack so it doesn’t matter which way you plug it in. It’s amber while it’s charging and turns green when it’s fully charged. So instead of having to tap the screen on my iPhone 12 Pro Max to see the charge status you can just look at the LED on the lightning plug to see if the battery is still charging or fully charged. The ends are a very nice aluminum body with a sturdy feel to them. I wish that it came with a ISB adapter, luckily I have one so I can also use it in the car. This is a great cable and I highly recommend it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from 30USD Cable that does not work with Carplay Cable does not work with carplay and it is not specified anywhere. Bought it in a shop and could not tell from the box. A company that makes a cable that is charging only deserves a special place in hell imo. Especially for 30$.
