Poorly thought out design
Given the orientation of the screw mounting holes and the cord and switch, it's impossible to mount this unit to the wall in an orientation that makes sense.

Specs are WRONG
As people have siad in the Q&A section, the clamping voltage on this "protector" is 500V which is a very poor protector. The box and the unit say this so not sure why they are lying on this site saying it is 330. I will be returning mine and buying a different brand!

It’s electric.
I absolutely love this product.the Sleek design inside by side plugs are awesome. It helps to clean up a power station Mess. No more having to connect power strip to power strip. Need a few more of these.

The Belkin 8 Outlet surge protector is really nice! This surge protector is easy to use, it looks nice, and it works well. This surge protector is super easy to use and I love the low-profile side plug. It makes it super easy to plug into an outlet where something else is plugged in underneath, because the cord allows for room under it. It also has a 6ft cord which makes it so much easier and more convenient to use. The cable management clip is also very nice and I like that it has slots. This surge protector also has protection options for a phone/fax/modem which are very straightforward to use.
The design of this surge protectors is really nice. I like the color and how slim it is overall.
This surge protector works super well, it’s very easy to plug things into and the off/reset button on top works well too. Plus, I love the peace of mind it provides.
All in all, this is a really nice surge protector! It’s very easy to use, it looks nice, it has a lot of convenient features, and it works really well! I would absolutely recommend it!

A solid surge protector.
This is solid surge protector with good spacing for plugs. It's got a long cable and a right angle plug which is also a nice feature. My only complaint would be the lack of a cable/satellite in/out. But as I wasn't using this for a tv it's not an issue. It does have a phone jack surge protector but those are becoming less and less useful as time goes on.

The ground plug fell out ( the little circle thing below the prongs) if it not grounded it can explode, catch fire, blow a fuse in your house and more it is very dangerous not to have a ground plug WOULD NOT RECOMMEND

Nice upgrade
This was a welcomed upgrade from our previous bulky unit. It’s very thin for holding 8 plugs. I really appreciate the cable management clips that keep everything nice and tidy. Being so thin, it fits in places that you need without a massive footprint. The quality and materials look and feel premium. Super happy overall and would recommend grabbing one for yourself.

I got this for my gaming computer and it works great. The first night of having this it saved my computer from a power surge. So it payed for itself the first day. I also liked that it has spacing for the box type of plugs.

Looks and works good
To start with,the product came in nice package. I work from home and use laptop, monitor, printer etc on daily basis and needed something to declutter the space as well as protect my devices from power surges. It has nice color and design. It’s very easy to setup and has 8 outlets to plug in all required devices and use without worrying about device damage.Love that it has slide protectors for not in use plugs.

Keeps cords organized
Got this to us on a busy outlet. The clips are nice to keep the cords under control. There are sliders to keep things from getting into unused outlets. Plenty of space for the low voltage blocks, too. Offset plug doesn't block the other outlet.

Belkin Slim Design Surge Protector
This 8 outlet slim design surge protector is perfect for any home (or home office). It includes a 6 foot cord and a low profile plug making it extremely easy to place anywhere in your home. It offers 3550 joules of surge protection and it is backed by a $200,000 connected equipment warranty. The green "protected" light gives me an additional piece of mind that my electronics are safe. I really liked the cable management clip to help me hide multiple cords. Although I didn't opt to mount this surge protector on my wall, I was surprised that it comes with that option as well.

Peace of mind
Not only does this have 8 outlets and surge protection, it comes with a guarantee for connected items. This is the peace of mind I've needed for my laptops during power outages and storms. I have not used the telephone phone but it has that as well.

Product information on website is wrong
It's been 5 years since reported by a previous reviewer and you are still misleading your customers with wrong information on the website. The simple fact is that the product page says the clamping voltage is 330v and the product box says the clamping voltage is 500v. It does not matter if the UL specification has changed, both of those numbers can't be right, so one is wrong. If the clamping voltage is really 500v then update the product information on the website to be correct, so that people who are looking for a lower clamping voltage (such as myself and the previous reviewer) don't buy the wrong product. BTW, I really like the design of the product and believe Belkin generally makes good products, I'm just looking for a lower clamping voltage so will have to go through the hassle of returning this.

Excellent surge proctor
Great surge protector protects up 3550 Joules of protection, 500 clamping voltes and is UL listed. If you have high end electronics such as tv’s , home theater equipment or computer desk top you’ll need a good quality surge protector at lest 2000 joules or higher I’m using this for my tv and home theater equipment and Wi-Fi router. Also has protection for phone line and network. Surges come from outside when you have a power outage and the electric company restarts your service and from inside of you home, each time your AC turns on and off can cause a surge from inside your home.

Teenager fit all her items!
I received the Belkin International - 8-Outlet Home/Office Surge Protector with telephone protection, 6 ft. Cord for review. I gave it to my teenage daughter and she was able to safely charge all of her electronics on one cord. Without any concern of surges.

Excellent versatile surge protector
This an excellent for a surge protector, I hade the old square box design on my TV and today there are several things that need to be connected to power where the TV is, speakers, Google TV, Internet router, wireless bass, lights, etc. And all these have different sizes and shapes connectors that makes imposible to used the old designs.
This new design is wide, long and flat that makes it very convenient, the outlets are not equally separated having space for the big connector and also for the small ones.
De design is perfect to be attached to a wall or under almost any furniture, due to the thickness.

Reliable and ready to protect
Surge protectors don’t get you too excited. They are there when you need them, ready to alleviate any electrical surges that might fry your expensive equipment. That said, this product definitely works as advertised and, I think, looks nice compared to other brands surge protectors. Plenty of outlets and having the phone protection is an added bonus m. Quality built. Highly recommend
