I have a new iPad Pro and it uses the usb c charger but my iPhone is still on the old lighting cord. This cord was also compatible with my PlayStation 5. Overall this cord is durable and well made. Should last me a while.

Exactly what I'm looking for and it did the trick! Nice that it didn't add too much extra length so its handy to have an adapter this short. Can always count on Belkin for my wires and adapter needs!

This adapter fits into the C port which is what is now on MacBooks and the opposite end has a standard USB port. A must have item for your office, briefcase or leave in your car. Works great!

I have been able to connect my usb external hard drive with great transfer rates. The adapter has a small cord which provides some flexibility compared to an adapter that has no cord and is more for a direct plug in. It’s still small enough to add to a laptop travel bag without adding much space. I definitely recommend if you’re looking for an easy way to connect your older devices to a new laptop.

It works great, and installation couldn't be simpler. Plug it in and start using it. No drivers or anything else necessary. It is a bit expensive, but such is the case for all of these dongles and adapters regardless of manufacturer.

It is nice and compact however, I do wish the cable were a little bit longer. Overall, it is a great product and does what we need it to.

The build quality is really good which means it won’t break easily. I just really wish it were longer. This is an important wire to have.

The USC-C part of the adapter, has plastic surrounding the inside the connection. This plastic managed to break itself off inside my computer, rendering one of the charging ports useless. Upon closer inspection, the plastic was very brittle, and broke away when touched. My computer was running a little warmer than usual, and I think that same heat contributed to weakening the plastic.

It was easy to use and worked without any issues. I've used Belkin products in the past so I fully expect this adapter to hold up with use. The connections on either end fit snuggly and the pins made a good connection without any delays.

The cord is the perfect size to just throw in your pocket and have it ready whenever you need it! Highly recommend to any one that needs to transfer small or large file transfers!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very solid but light weight and short adapter! Very nice short style adapter that is a great solid, thick and light weight cable adapter that should last a very long time! It has worked perfectly the first time I plug something into it and I have not experienced any issues with transfer speed or recognition of anything USB related. I love how when I initially plug the adapter into the electronic device it responds with a click sound reassuring me that the cable is intact and it won’t just fall out or disconnect with random movements. Final note - this adapter is very well made and has reassuring weight to it which reflects the higher quality materials that we all want when spending our hard earned money. The plug and socket are both very well designed and constructed. The cable section is insulated well and has just enough flexibility to lessen the pressure from the connectors. This is the cable that you are looking for so click buy now!

The cable feels well insulated, flexible, the correct length and has been working perfectly for my MacBook Pro. The socket and plug are well constructed with a weight that makes it feel like a solid-built product.

Not only was it a good price, but it also worked great. It was obviously pretty simple to use, but not only that, the quality was great. I've been using it over the official adapter because it works so much better AND is faster. Great product, highly recommend!

It easily allows you to upload and download files between devices, connect an external hard drive, or even charge another device. I used this with a pair of USB headphones, it transferred plenty fast to support high quality audio to that device. There was no stuttering, and playback went on without any issues. The flexible cable is much more convenient than the small adapter you can attach to the bottom of your device, as it lets you position much more conveniently. Overall, I have had no issues with this product, and its nice that it supports USB 3.0 as well.

The drive consumes more power than can be transmitted by a combo adapter (like the Moshi Symbus Mini 7-in-1 portable USB-C hub I have). This Belkin adapter does the job.

The great thing is that is charges as well as transferring data so efficiently, the charging feature is game-changer and why I got this one. I have the USB-C end plugged into the USB-C port, which is designated for power, and then I use one of the many USB-A phone cords in the house to go into the outlet. That combination is much easier and lighter to travel with and keeps my laptop’s one USB-A port open for other devices. I also like the reliability of Belkin as a familiar brand!

It lets me connect some older USB type-A accessories to my laptop that has limited USB ports. I can now convert my USB type-C port to work with any accessory. I've been using it with my external hard drive and it's working with no issues. I personally love how snug the connections on both ends are. It feels like a rugged and high quality cable.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Hardware, Wasn't the one I needed. I use a macbook with only USB-C ports and wanted a direct cable to plug in my external USB-powered SSD drive. I took a chance that since this one would charge a phone it would send data and power to my drive but alas, it does not. Still a great cable and I'll hand on to it because I'm sure I'll find a use for it but I'll be using the Belkin USB to USB-C adapter for a USB cable for this drive. Belkin makes great hardware but it just for anyone else looking at this, it may not work on your USB powered external drive.

I chose this to adapt my older style USB charger cables since I seem to have infinity of them laying around. USB-C is so awesome because there is not "right way" to plug it in like the USB-A. So when I do unplug, I unplug from the USB-C side.
