Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very well built! Haven’t used it long enough yet (march 27 was when I bought it) but it’s very study! It has 12 outlets on it, I haven’t made use of each outlet yet. It runs my light, phone charger, 2 laptop chargers, and an iPad charger, really well! It’s on an inch thick so you can slide it in or under a bed or desk and not really have it be in the way. Again, it’s built pretty nice and sturdy from what I see so far. Value for the money is great since it’s under warranty and isn’t too expensive. Since this warranty also covers up to, I believe, $300,000USD worth of what’s connected to it if it fails to protect the devices I believe this is pretty reliable! I’ll be sure to make updates if possible once I make use of the product more.

I was previously using a smaller surge protector that had maybe 6 plugs and it really wasn’t cutting it. I couldn’t plug all my electronics in at the same time. I was always removing one for another. This new 12 plug surge protector has been a big upgrade for me. I can now have all my monitors, charges, and printer plugged in at the same time. I no longer struggle to remember which plug belongs to which product. I really like the low profile plug too. My desk is right up against the wall and our room is small so I’ll take all the space I can get. I probably gained an extra inch at least! Really great surge protector and has been great for working from home.

It works great since I have quite a few cables and plugs that need to go into it. I haven't had any electrical storms yet and hopefully won't anytime soon. I'd definitely recommend this device, Belkin products are usually top notch. I do with the main cord for this device was a little bit longer.

Not only is does it have a 90 degree flat plug that allows you to put furniture closer to the wall if this is behind it - but the cord comes out on a diagonal instead of straight down - so you can use two similar plugs in one outlet. The cord feels sturdy, and is longer than most. Belkin also did a great job maximizing the outlets on the strip, with some along the edge oriented in a way that lets you plug in larger power supplies without blocking adjacent outlets. The cable organizer on the end would also be useful in some applications. I ended up using this surge protector with my computer equipment. I like the surge protector light being on, and being familiar with the Belkin name, I have some hope that the light means that there's actually some protection circuitry behind it. If you're looking for something beyond the basic power strip, you should definitely look at this one.

The flathead that goes into the wall makes it super easy put furniture in front of it and the long cable makes it easy to move around and get power where you need it. I’m currently using it in my home office for my desktop computer, printer, router/WiFi, home security system and lamp. The cord on the surge protector is 8 ft long which gives me plenty of flexibility. I also like that it comes with a cord clip which keeps my cords neat and organized. I’m very pleased with the design and it’s great to know that my electronics are protected.

On my old one, I couldn’t use any large plugs without unplugging the plug next to it. I was constantly unplugging to make room for something else. I’ve been able to consolidate down to just the one surge protector using the Belkin outlet. It looks so much better and I’m not crawling on the floor all day long. An added bonus is the surge protector. Since I do work from home this feature is important. I’m very happy with this!

This power bar is absolutely amazing the quality is beyond any power bar I have ever bought in the past and I’ve owned several dozen, the quality of the cord is also very high, it’s a very heavy duty rubber, the actual cord weighs probably three times more than the power bar itself. I can plug everything into this and still have half the power bar freed up.

In my home it sometimes the switch goes off and when it comes on it burns my wifi but with this outlet its not gonna do that no more. But because of the various positions of the outlets one should be able to use this single protector. And being rated at 3940 Joules should be more than enough to use home users. The average protection is typically 2000 to 3000 Joules, hoping I never have to find out.

First off, it is very useful to be able to plug everything into one place. I probably would never have 12 things plugged in at once, but it is nice to have that option (probably good for an actual office with several employees). Second, it is very handy to have a long power cord - 8 feet in this case. I can't tell you how many times I had to go find an extra cord or a power extension cord because of a too-short power strip. I like the fact that it is slimmer than other similar products (1-inch thickness) and can easily fit under furniture, if necessary. It also comes with a clip, perfect for hiding cables and keeping them more organized. But probably the best feature is the surge protector. It gives you more peace of mind when it comes to expensive electronics. The product also comes with a limited lifetime warranty, which is always nice to have.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Over-all good product, one minor complaint I like the number of outlets and the spacing along the sides is perfect for those wider adapters while I can fill the middle with standard plugs. We use probably 100 or more of these around our office building and have very little to complain about. "Little" but not "nothing"... I can understand not including mounting hardware. Most people will probably not mount these so including screws in every single box would be a waste. But no where in any of the description on the web or on the packaging, or in the box or on the device itself does it say how big of a screw head is needed. There's no information on spacing or a template or anything. I'm going to have to go home to get a tape measure and measure it before I can get this hung on a wall.

I live in an old house, so this has helped me out a lot. It does not get too hot when everything that is plugged in to it us being used. I have not tried anything big like a speace heater or a floor fan. But small things like a TV, satellite dish, cellphone charger - 2, and a tablet charger. I kept touching it and it did not get hot.

I have very few outlets and the thought of running extension cords scares me. This surge protector gives me piece of mind. It has a light on it that tells you at a glance that your items that are plugged in are protected or not grounded. It os a nice slim style for as many outlets as it has. It also has three phone lines at the bottom of the unit. Another great feature is has cable clips to keep cables from being a tripping hazard. Great product. I would definitely recommend it to a friend.

I work from home, and my work computer has several cords that need to be plugged into an outlet; this protector is huge and has plenty of space to plug in cords. Before getting the surge protector, a power outage ruined my computer monitor. I’ve had no problems with power outages now that my equipment is plugged into the surge protector. Belkin surge slim design 12-outlet protector, protects my plugged-in electronics during storms, surges or electricity failure . This device also has a phone line, dsl and cable line surge protectors too. Belkin is so sure that the protectors work that they offer a $300k equipment warranty if the surge protector fails . I like it because it separates all of the cords. It also does protects phone cords and tv cables cords as well. It works really well had a couple of electrical storms and had no problems. Looks well made and has a way to install it to an intertainment center I chose not to do that with mine yet.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Saved my electronics, but could've been much worse My neighbourhood got hit with a massive surge when a driver took out a hydro pole near my house overnight. 4 breakers tripped on my electrical panel. This surge protector saved my electronics but could've burnt down my house. It left a couple of burn marks on the carpet from where the screw holes are on the bottom of the unit. I opened the unit and found 2 MOVs completely blew as well as the thermal fuse between them-- a charred/burn mess. I'm not an electrical engineer, but a small white "box" beside the line coming from the power switch also burnt out and partially melted the bottom of the case, directly under it. After the power came back on, the surge protector was still delivering power to the devices plugged into it. I went to work and good thing my wife was home because she smelt a burning smell when she was working in her home office and found it was coming from the surge protector. If she wasn't home, I have no idea what could've happened... it could've completely caught fire. I have another BE112230-08 in my house that did not experience this issue (I'm going to open up my other one and see how the insides look), but my trust in this brand is definitely shaken. The power switch on the unit says "reset" next to it, but it doesn't appear to actually be resettable breaker. If it is a breaker, this massive surge should've tripped it. There is obviously no failsafe fuse in the design to prevent it from operating after a massive power hit like this. The unit should not have been able to function after being compromised like this. I'm now replacing all the surge protectors in my house and went with a different brand whose only business is power/electrical.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love this This is my second one of these. It's got a great layout, and so many outlets. I plug each of mine into a UPS, so I get clean power that way. I just need a way to add outlets to my UPS (You know, over load it). Even now I'm thinking of where I can use another one of these in the house.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Lasted less than two weeks Only lasted for about two weeks. Used for TV, game console, sound bar, internet and router. Didn't have any issue with cheap option, but needed to add for sound bar. Thought Belkin would be a great option...it was not!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Didn't Work As Expected We had lightning hit near our apartment. This surge protector was in use and connected to a television, cable box, router, modem, and gaming console. The router and tv no longer work correctly. I expect a surge protector to protect from surges, completely. A 60% success rate just doesn't cut it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great for protecting computer systems Been using this since 2017 and have bought two of these. I installed one on my family's desktop computer that recently lost its power supply and hard drive in the past that I suspected were related to some kind of electrical interference, something that a previous surge protector could not filter out. So I bought this Belkin 12 outlet surge protector that has a great 75db reduction in EMI/RFI line noise, and does well to protect the DSL modem through the phone connections on the surge strip. So far I have not had a tech issue with the desktop PC, and in case of an electrical mishap, I expect for the Belkin surge protector to be sacrificed. By far, this product works well for me in making sure the desktop PC and DSL modem are staying operational, and to avoid downtime.

Hey tech's this is the one ( # 1 ) surge suppressor to buy great joules protection, 12 taps, 7 transformer spaces - 6 on side + 1 on end - right handed 8 ft heavy duty cord -14 gauge, cord management tool, COAXIAL PROTECTION !, Quality ! durable, last for years & years, wall/baseboard mountable, N O T J U N K !!! Rated 5 out of 5 by from Unacceptable short life. Bought unit 15 months ago. It just stopped working completely. The input on/off switch doesn't work any more. Poorest Belkin product I've ever purchased.
