ArchiveOne Mailbox Management maximizes the efficiency and reduces the cost of growing Microsoft Exchange environments. It delivers the functionality needed to manage email data, whether it is live in Exchange, personally stored in PST files, or archived in ArchiveOne, without impacting end users. ArchiveOne Mailbox Management provides a comprehensive set of email management and archiving capabilities that provide organization wide control over all email data. Administrators are able to reduce storage capacity, improve server performance and enforce regulatory compliance, as well as enabling eDiscovery. Up to 80% of corporate data is email, and this volume is doubling every two years. For many businesses this rapid growth imposes great strain on their email environment, so archiving with ArchiveOne Mailbox Management provides them an effective means to manage the size of their Exchange environment and improve email server health. Selective archiving policies mean that they only archive the data they actually need to keep. Barracuda recognizes that organizations need to manage the end to end lifecycle for their email, wherever it is currently located, keeping it as long as it has value and then deleting it when it is no longer required. They also need to identify and make available all relevant data for investigation and discovery exercises. ArchiveOne Mailbox Management addresses all of these requirements in a single solution. The product is built using a policy-based approach, which provides IT administrators with a wide range of Information Management options for configuring individual processes to meet specific organizational needs. For instance, policies can be implemented by folder, mailbox, or user group, and applied selectively to messages, calendar and task items filtered by date, content, or many other attributes. Data is managed 'in place' wherever it currently exists, rather than requiring that all data is archived first. This means that ArchiveOne Mailbox Management aligns with and supports existing IT processes rather than changing them.
