The ATEN 8-Port Cat 5 KVM Switch with 8x KA9520 PS/2 VGA CPU Adapter has been designed with unique, powerful features that enable administrators to manage their entire server room and data center devices easily and conveniently. This control unit allows IT administrators to access and control multiple computers from a single PS/2 or USB KVM console (keyboard, monitor and mouse). It has an Adapter ID feature that stores the adapter cable's configuration information such as its ID, port name, OS and keyboard language, allowing administrators to relocate servers to different ports without having to reconfigure the adapters. The broadcast mode sends commands from the console to all computers allowing users to perform operations such as, software installation, upgrades and shutdowns, on them simultaneously.
