The CCS 722 series, which was developed to meet the demands of the linked, IoT-enabled campus, provides wire speed connectivity for all campus user workloads while being managed and observed by Arista cognitive campus services. Wire speed communication with MACsec is provided by the Arista Cognitive Campus CCS-722 series switches on all ports.
The CCS-722 provides a range of connection possibilities for desktop computers, PoE appliances, and IoT gadgets. Managed 802.3af/at/bt power services offer speeds ranging from 10Mbps to 2.5Gbps and up to 60W per RJ45 connector. With a choice of 25G and 10G uplinks, 100Mbps to 25Gbps may be delivered, allowing for flexibility and scalability in network design. A comprehensive, standards-based layer 2 and 3 feature set, including EVPN virtualization and QoS services, are offered by Arista's common binary EOS.
To automatically segregate users, appliances, and all mission-critical voice, video, and general-purpose applications on the campus, EOS provides standards-based 802.1X access control and LLDP device identification services. Arista's family of switching and Wi-Fi platforms are managed collectively through a single Cognitive Campus management plane in Cloud Vision, which offers automated analytics, database archival, and sub-second real-time telemetry to manage and monitor the network's infrastructure, users, and applications.
