Powerful network devices with ultra-low latency, the Arista 7130 Connect Series "fixed systems" provide a wide range of integrated management tools and functionalities. With full signal recovery and regeneration, the 7130 Connect Series exchanges forward data between ports in 4 nanoseconds. They do not buffer or queue data, are non-blocking, and have almost imperceptible jitter.

Modern signal integrity circuitry enables versatile SFP/SFP+ use, including passive and active direct-attach copper cables as well as long-range multi-mode (LRM). The platform of the 7130 Connect Series is packet-aware and offers diagnostics, thorough packet statistics, and signal quality monitoring, including eye diagrams. Sniffing packets is possible with packet replication without impacting the data flow.

With the same overhead as a meter of fiber and no degradation in signal quality, the Arista 7130 Connect Series Layer 1+ switches can be utilized in a network as a remotely adjustable patch panel for one-to-many data broadcast, ad-hoc tapping, media conversion, and link monitoring.
