It works
Needed this to get more mileage out of my thunderbolt display upgrading to a new Apple laptop with USB-c ports. This gizmo does the trick. What would be swell is if there were a version of this that also adapted the MagSafe power cable (from the Apple display) as well, that would really keep things tidy.

tracking issues with CDW
tracking shipment was really disappointing, no one knew the status of shipment. took more than 2 weeks for it be delivered and 2 days after it was delivered someone reached out to me to check on the status.
apple thunderbolt itself works perfectly, no issues
