A review? Ok, it works. how's that?
Be careful on the wiring. I called tech support just to make sure I could connect "red" with "white" on my Symmerta 8KVA unit, because the plugs did not match up. But after going over that with APC support it was easily connected and it works fine.

I also contacted support to confirm that the wire colors don't match correctly. I also have an older LX. The SYPD11 only has two connectors (wires are black and white). Since it's a 208/240V plug panel (L6-30) it does not need a neutral. Connect the three wire white from the SYPD11 to the Red, 3 wire connector inside the UPS.
Wire color should match the internal wire color of the UPS. The documentation needs to be updated.
