I don't know if the battery works but I hope so.
I ordered a replacement battery because APC email support said I needed it to get my UPS running again. I ordered it 1-day expedited but it was slow to be shipped. I installed it and things worked for about 12 hours, then the same error appeared. I contacted APC email support again and they said that meant the UPS hardware was bad and needed to be replaced. They told me to keep the battery and they would send a replacement UPS, which I thought was very kind. I don't know if it's been shipped or when it'll arrive, but I hope it's this week. Overall, buying directly from APC as a consumer hasn't been a great experience.
