APC Metered Rack PDUs distribute reliable rack power distribution via a single input with multiple output receptacles. Real-time remote monitoring and user-defined alarms help prevent potential circuit overloads that can cause accidental power loss to critical equipment.




Remote Management Capabilities


Easily access, configure, and manage this metered PDU from remote locations. A network management interface provides standards-based management via Web, SNMP, and Command Line Interface.




Metered Power Distribution


This Metered PDU from APC provides (12) IEC 60320 C13 and (4) IEC 60320 C19 outlets to supply power to rack equipment. Active current measurement (amps), user-customizable alarms, and an embedded memory log are included.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from apc - APC NetShelter Metered Rack PDU, 2U, 5.0kW, Installed three of these 2U PDUs across our server racks and they've been rock solid. The 12 C13 + 4 C19 outlet configuration hits the sweet spot for mixed server environments - plenty of standard server connections plus the high-amp C19s for power-hungry gear like blade chassis. The integrated LCD meter is clear and easy to read, showing real-time amperage which helps prevent circuit overloads during equipment moves. Build quality is typical APC - heavy gauge metal construction that feels bulletproof. Cable management is well thought out with the angled outlet orientation keeping power cords organized. 208V/30A capacity handles our needs perfectly, and we're running around 22-24A on each without issues. The network management port integration works seamlessly with our monitoring setup. Only minor gripes: the LCD could be brighter in low-light server rooms, and I wish it showed wattage in addition to amperage. Also, no redundant power input option at this price point. For the money though, it's a reliable workhorse that does exactly what it should - distribute clean power and give you visibility into consumption. Would definitely buy again for future rack deployments.
