Rated 5 out of 5 by from Working Great! Easy to hook up and get going. No issues. My only wish is that the LCD display would stay on all the time. It would be nice to see the watts all the time and not just when it's under load - even then, it cuts off too quick. Can this be added as a feature in a firmware update?

There are plenty of plugs for various devices, including ports to recharge pohones and similar devices. I would highly recommend this for anyone looking for a new Back-up UPS

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Prettiest UPS I've ever owned. Functional too. Better than a 4-star, but not a 5. The APC Gaming Back-UPS 1500VA is a sleek looking, very good (maybe excellent) UPS. The 10 outlets (6B+4S) are nice -- I was able to connect the system, three monitors, router, and an LED desk lamp to the battery outlets, plus a printer and powered speakers in the surge only. Still leaves two surge-protected outlets. I don't own a 'scope, so I've not examined the output to verify a clean sine wave. The countdown timer on the top is useful, though I've not yet had a power outage, or even blip, so no comment on battery life and the blinking LED notification. I really like the charging ports on the front. Easy to reach USB-C and a pair of USB-A. I'm not fond of the idea of the battery not being usable accessible, but that also depends on just how many years before replacement is needed.

It is a beautifully-styled product that will look attractive even if out in the open. The choice of LED colors is an added attraction that will likely appeal to gamers.

Dont know why this was never done before but being able to see the outlets and not use your phone light. Ingenious!! Now the unit itself, this thing is a beast of a machine. I cant even get this to get over 20% load and plugged in a vacuum cleaner and other household items and yeah nadda on the power hog!! Gaming is of no worries now!!! Console stays cool due to voltage stabilization and im getting almost 70 some minutes of backup displayed. Multi led on top lcd mount, another solid feature as one can see but its not blinding you either as a distraction. The white is oh so clean!!!! Major props APC. This thing is a winner in all sense

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Working solid! I've plugged this into my home audio/gaming platform and it looks very cool with the different selectable colored lights! It's visually awesome but seems to do quite well with protecting my electronics from any surges or brownouts. Very easy to get up and running (just install battery and plug everything into it. You can watch the battery charge on the LCD screen to know status when you want and has a lot of plugs on the back for your gear (and a few in the front too...two USB and one USB-C). I've been using APC products for years so I'm confident in the protection provided but this unit is also cool to look at as well as functional. Would definitely recommend!

Gaming systems, desktop computers, TV’s run smoothly during temporary power outages. I live in what’s known as tornado alley where power surges are a part of life. The 1500VA, Gaming Back-UPS keeps all of my devices safe. I chose the arctic unit and it seamlessly blends into our homes decor. I am very confident that it will perform for years to come.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Looks as Good as it Works This is their best model in awhile. Others work well, but have to hide them. This one complements my computer. I love the position and look of the display. Probably more color choices than needed, but with the proliferation of LED light controllers not much of an added cost. Lots of connections, both AC and USB. Long-time user of Schneider APC products. Have tried others and come back. Used to recommend at work, now only use at home. My area has problems with clean power during hot days, and stormy days. So far this has worked great, as have my other APC units. Three computers, games, iPad, electronic books, phones, router, TV, etc. I need reliable power and APC delivers.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Solid unit great for gaming or desktops. I love the look of this unit. It is more stylish and looks great sitting with my iMac. I unplugged it and it kept the computer running great. I love that it protects against power surges-a major concern in my area. The digital visual makes it easy to see how much time is remaining. I do wish the battery had a longer life for longer periods of power outages for running a router for internet.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Glad they thought of this. While my work in IT is a priority, my home network also requires a fair share of attention, and my users at home are MUCH more demanding. Having our router or one of the gaming systems go down in the middle of a Battle Royale will certainly upset the folks I care about most, and when Mom loses connectivity- ain't nobody happy. APC to the rescue! This purpose-built UPS is the ideal solution for keeping the fun alive when power isn't always reliable. It protects your expensive router and game platforms or PCs from damage caused by outages or inconsistent power. It has plenty of ports to connect everything and even includes USB charging ports for controllers or phones when needed. Add to that the fact that it matches the look of most modern consoles and is built like a tank and you have another sure winner from APC.
