The Back-UPS Pro provides abundant battery backup power, so you can work through medium and extended length power outages. It safeguards your equipment against damaging surges and spikes that travel along utility and data lines. The Back-UPS Pro also features automatic voltage regulation (AVR), which instantly adjusts high and low voltages to safe levels, so you can work indefinitely during brownouts and overvoltages.

The Back-UPS Pro also includes unique "green" features, automatically turn off idle peripherals. A high efficiency charging system and "AVR Bypass" also reduce power consumption. With the rest of the Back-UPS Pro's standard features, this is the perfect unit to protect your productivity from the constant threat of bad power and lost data.

APC Back-UPS Pro 1500 is rated 3.6 out of 5 by 17.
Rated 3 out of 5 by from Been using one of these for a while now. I am on my second unit. The first one had a controller issue and would not switch over, however the second one has been working for about a year solidly.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I have installed these at many client locations without issue. The run time is great, the interface is solid and they setup fast. I have seen them carry their load in blackouts without issue many times. The battery life is long and they have the ability to add an external battery pack for longer run time.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from We have quite a few of these in place for certain personnel (IT, developers, etc) and these things have proven worth it! No problems with any power issues and there is enough time on there in order to keep us powered until our generators kick on, if need be.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from A great standalone UPS for important workstations or a small tower based server. Offers a good amount of protection and battery runtime.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from We own more than a dozen of these units and use them for our high-end workstations. They work very well, and protect against power fluctuations and brown-outs (which are not uncommon in our building, especially during the summer). Battery life is excellent for a desktop-class UPS. The only thing I would wish for would be a way to centrally manage all of our units, but that might be a tall order for desktop-class devices.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Used software briefly until we could get an always-on setup to protected grid on company power (including generator). Relatively easy software and worked as advertised.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from I have it installed a on a laptop to connect to our smaller UPS that only run our network equipment for diagnostics and testing. Does a good job for monitoring when connected to a single workstation.
