AeroScout T2sp - wireless security tag

The STANLEY Healthcare T2sp Wi-Fi protected tag is a component of the Patient Protection solution. The Patient Protection system is a nurse-driven technology designed to assist staff in preventing patient elopement from hospital units. The tag uses Wi-Fi based wireless technology to protect patients throughout the hospital. Hospital exits are equipped with hardware mounted above or beside doorways. As a patient approaches an exit, the tag sends a special signal, identifying itself and its location. This information is relayed to the MobileView system, where an alert message is automatically displayed on the Patient Protection system. The tag is easily activated to a protected mode and can be quickly deactivated. Designed for the Patient Protection solution, the T2sp tag utilizes Wi-Fi to assist staff in preventing patient wandering and elopement across any hospital environment.
