The AeroScout EX5200 Long Range Flat-Form Tag Exciter is a low frequency device for use in indoor environments. It features a robust and sophisticated RFID detection that helps the system to identify and manage AeroScout tags and entry/exit areas, zone boundaries and other flow control situations. The EX5200 transmits low frequency (LF) signals to activate the AeroScout active RFID Tags as they pass through a chokepoint. The tags in turn transfer messages to compatible Wi-Fi access points in the signal range of the tag. In the MobileView software system, this confirms that a tagged asset has passed through a gate.
